It seemed to just be a normal day, going from class to class and having to find her own means of amusement. The only problem was that it was a Friday, and now that her classes were over, she still found herself without any plans for the night. What decent girl didn't have any plans on a Friday night! It's not like she was going to sit around in the common room and, god forbid, study or something of that nature. Instead, Prue decided to head out and hope that if she walked in circles, some sort of amusement would make it's way over to her. It was a long shot, and usually ended up with her just wasting time, but she didn't have much else to do. Addy was busy, probably off skipping with some of her own friends.
Her walk headed purposely outside, hoping that the fresh, cool fall air would make the jacket she was wearing make sense. The air was crisp with a light breeze, and the sunlight was dulling as it slowly creeped out of their view of the sky. Prue sighed lightly with a small frown as she noticed that the few people to fill the Courtyard weren't all that familiar to her. Not wanting to awkwardly pick a bench and sit by herself, she just focused on the awkward cobblestone pattern of the ground. On a whim she tried to follow a line in a straight walk, her arms going out straight to try and help her balance as she slowly put one foot in front of the other.
Prue, of course, could hear some people giggling and whispering behind her but didn't particularly care. It's not like she was doing something all that weird, just something out of sheer boredom. Though, one comment of "Ay, blondie, you practicin' your walk for when the cops find you plastered?" pissed her off, but she let it slide by as she always did. Slytherins always liked to talk the talk, and thought that they were so clever. "Aye." She said back generically, not wanting to get any more involved than that. Though, in answer she heard a chorus of laughter and had to pull her vision away from the stones to see who it was. Like she thought, it was a group of older slytherin boys just keeping up the house rivalry as always.
Though in that moment of having her head turned away, her body collided with another person's and her head whipped back around to see who it was as she stumbled back clumsily. Her face instantly reddened and she mumbled out a quick sorry instinctively.
"Woah, man, my bad. I wasn't looking at all..." She admitted with an apologetic smile as her hand reached up awkwardly to comb through the short bangs of her bleach blonde hair. Well, apparently if Prue didn't make plans she just had to go out and bump into every Tom, Jerry, and Sue that she saw.
[Short -- Trying to get my bearings in RPing her.]

Finally, she was done with all of her classes! Polaris always was found out and about around the grounds even if she wasn't done, but today just made it quite proper! No skipping or any of that was necessary. With a smile on her face, the Ravenclaw got up from where she was sitting out on the lawns over looking the lake from her meditation and began heading back to the courtyard to look for some of her friends. Not like they'd be there anyways, probably too busy with their other friends or schedules and what not. Most of her 'friends' were like that anywho.
Bi-coloured eyes quickly turned to a group of Slytherins who couldn't find anything better to do but torment younger years and harass any girl they saw. This time, it was a Gryffindor, judging by the robes, and a girl no less.
"Aye, blondie, you practicin' your walk for when the cops find you plastered?"
Polaris sneered slightly and heard the girl retort to their comment, holding back her own anger. Walking a bit closer to the group and the girl, the animagus rolled up her sleeve and shook her fist before giving them the ol' one finger salute. "Yeh'll be findin' yerself plastered when yeh have my fist in yer mouth, jerkoff!" Her nordic accent rang through her insult, but the boys got the point and eventually just turned their back to the two girls.
As soon as Polaris went to apologize to the young girl they had just harassed, she found bumping heads with just the one she was looking for. Quickly stabilizing herself and the Gryffindor, the Ravenclaw smiled. "Don't wurry 'bout et. You alright?" She asked with a smile, her head tilted curiously.

It was ironic how some people popped in on other people's battles, and rather than getting annoyed with it like most people did, Prue just took them as little guardian angels. Even if they were in the form of some brutish-sounding woman who was clearly northern. Her brows raised slightly at the fierce comment, for even if she couldn't understand all the words she sure got the message that she was threatening the boys.
As she turned her head to see who she'd nearly bowled over in her clumsiness, she noticed that it was a girl that seemed to have a familiar face but she couldn't quite place a name to her. Surely she was in a couple of her classes, or maybe she'd just seen her around the school. Either way, her next remark made Prue connect her to the earlier voice and she shook her head lightly. "I'm fine, I didn't take a tumble so that's good." She smiled "What about you, I didn't mean to bump into you like that. Well, obviously, what I meant was that it was an accident." Prue rambled, her lips pursing after the first bit of her sentence when she realized how badly worded it had come out.
Glancing towards the group that was clearly running away with their tails behind their backs, though trying to look cool by pushing over a couple of first years, she just giggled. "You were quite beastly back there, I guess I owe you?" Prue rolled her eyes slightly at the thought. "I think house rivalry's so silly, or maybe it's just that I have to think Slytherins are so full of themselves." But really, the saps seemed to think it impossible for there to be pureblood families outside of the Slytherin world, which wasn't quite true.
"Oh, by the way, I'm Prue." She said with a grin. "Prue Russo, what about you?" More often than not she didn't even bother saying her full name, as she didn't like to be called Prudence. It sounded far too old lady-like to her.
[Really lame -- I haven't had a lick of muse all week, sorry dearie!]
