The month of July. Nothing much ever happened in this month, and today was certainly no different. Even so, Rupert would not be any different compared to usual anyway. The weather was morbidly hot as Rupert pulled at his jumper collar to stop it suffocating him. As soon as he let go however, it went back to smothering him and making him wheeze slightly.
Rupert was an odd boy, not only did he have his condition to deal with but he was prone to getting ill quite often. Right now his allergies were reeking havoc with his system and he would be heard violently sneezing.
With hands firmly in pockets as he wandered the castle corridors, scuffing his shoes as he walked on the dirty stone ground; Rupert didn’t look up, not once at where he was going. His feet were in charge as of now, and the small pale stone he had been kicking around the castle had been his only friend on this lonely lap of the school. He was unsure what hour of the day it was all that was certain was that it was a July Sunday. As he continued to kick the stone down a small set of steps, he soon followed suit to find he had kicked it out into fresh air. Looking up and doing a double take, he found himself in the courtyard.
Looking around, he saw a couple snuggling together in the corner clutching at Masquerade masks and being positively cute. As a small tug lifted the side of Rupert’s mouth, it was then that he kicked in. Not Rupert, but Steven. Steven Stevenage, the suave loving side of Rupert who could chat up anything and everything. The intense emotions he felt found his eyes wandering upon a Ravenclaw girl sitting solitary on the bench. Slicking a cow’s lick piece of hair back only for it to ping back into place again he strutted over to her before sitting next to her.
“So sweetheart, did you find anybody worth while at the Masquerade ball last night?” he said rather smoothly with a smirk playing on his boyish features.
