As she stood at the ravenclaw common room window overlooking the mountains, Lexie pressed a pale hand up to the chilled glass, sending a small glacial shiver up her back that made her twitch. Lexie was under the impression that muggle’s called it ‘someone walking over your grave’ but she never understood why, and as she leered at the outside world as Bex was behind her chatting to Brandon and giggling, she zoned them out and focused on the subdued wind that howled from a small blemish in the wood of the window pane. Leaning her head against the window, the same icy feeling washed over her body for a split second before diminished as soon as it had come.
Giving a small sigh, yet enough to cause condensation on the window pane, she drew a love heart with her finger before blinking and wiping it away and turning to her friend and brother, releasing another sigh as she saw them playing thumb wars. Lexie was always a fidget, and unlike her brother and Beckii, she couldn’t sit down and just laze about and lounge around with a book or something, she preferred to be out and doing something even if it was something she didn’t particularly enjoy, but anything to get herself active.
Observing the pair with a raised eyebrow for a moment, she folded her arms over her chest and leant against the sill for support. After a moment, Brandon realised she was watching and quickly terminated their game of thumb wars, looking slightly embarrassed and twitchy. “What?” he asked with a raised eyebrow and a wavering voice. Lexie just smirked back at him before grabbing the daily prophet from the table and whacking him in the chest with it. “Nothing Big brother, nothing at all” she said suspiciously. Giving a quick glance over to Beckii she too looked a little odd, but maybe that was just Lexie feeling odd herself. “I’m off for a bit, you guys are boring me, adios amigo’s” she said blowing a kiss to Bex before ruffling up her brothers hair into a complete shambles before running away as the daily prophet soon came whizzing towards her head. “Oy” she heard shouted after her as she opened up the door and exited the common room.
The familiarity of the blue shades were now gone and were replaced with the boring corridors of Hogwarts. As she made her way down all the stairs, she was glad that she wasn’t fat or to do this every day would be hell for her. Pushing open the doors to the courtyard, she noted a few bodies, none worth interrupting though, until she spotted Leo, such a typical ravenclaw that it was quite annoying. Lexie grinned a valiant smile before creeping up to Leo in a bizarre fashion.
“Leo, rawwwr” she said brazenly while making claw like gestures with her hands before plonking herself down next to him.

It was a rather dreary day to say the least. The air was moist, like it was raining, but without actually raining. "Condensation in the air." Leo stated as Gray stopped and looked at him with a raised eyebrow, almost questioning what condensation had to do with anything Gray had just said. "Well, there is." Leo smiled and rubbed his hand through his hair, "Cant you feel it? On your face? Your arms and whatever?" Gray folded his arms and looked at Leo rather puzzled, "I just feel cold, and clammy." Gray stated, which Leo snapped his fingers to and gave a hah sound. "Well thats the condensation in the air Graham Deluca. Sheesh." Gray stopped and looked at his friend, Leo was usually a shy person, but not around Gray, Leo was usually a different person around Gray then he was with anyone else. "Leo," Gray said, "I really dont care about condensation in the air, what does that have to do with anything we've been talking about?" "Well there could be anything in the condensation!" Leo argued, to which Gray once more raised his eyebrows at. "Like what? Rats?" Gray asked, "Unless the condensation is going to answer my problem then I'm really not interested" The word condensation was strained on Gray's tongue, almost as if he couldnt believe the was talking about it. "Dont be daft, how can rats get in condensation?" Leo stated, as though Gray was thick, "But Rat excreation could be, and human for that matter. Which is gross when you think about it." "Which is why im not going to think about it." Gray looked at Leo, "Are you going to help me? Or do I have to write to the christmas nazi?" "Well Izzy is better at this kinda stuff than me," Leo said, "But im sure the nazi will tell you to just tell her, whats the worst that could happen?" "Uh, she could blow me right off?" Gray stated. "Then you move on. Your good at girl jumping." Gray glared at Leo, then, realising how that sounded, Leo laughed and rubbed his head, "I meant! Your good at getting over the losses." "Whatever, I'm writing to Izzy, catch you later."
So with that, Gray walked off and Leo heading into the courtyard. How should Leo know what to do about girls, it wasnt as though he had experiance in that area. Unless you counted constantly fighting with one, then he could give Gray tip on how to do that almost expertly. Taking a seat under a tree, Leo tilted his head back, thinking about all the stuff that could be in the condensation, it was really kind of nasty when you actually allowed your brain to think on it, though he didnt have too long to ponder, as the person, the one reason he had avoided the common room, had come upto him. Tilting his head up, he looked at the female as she plonked down next to him. Almost as though she felt welcome. Then again, Lex was a brash girl. "Lex... ahh..." He said in a dull and bored kind of tone, putting his head back and ignoring her, hoping she would go away. Only he wasnt that lucky. "Do you want something?"

Leo was never happy to see Lexie, but chasing him and making him miserable was quite funny to Lexie. It amazed her how he could dislike her so much on the first impression of her, and no matter how quiet and shy he was, he was as stubborn as a mule when it came to Lexie. As she swung her legs from the bench, she scuffed her converse trainers slightly on the floor, leaving small white markings on the stone ground. Looking over the courtyard, she sat silently for a moment simply observing the other students in the courtyard as the breeze picked up and blew her blonde hair gently with it. Breathing in a deep breath of fresh mountain air, she stood up in front of Leo, unable to settle in her spot on the bench for longer than two minutes.
“Oh come on, I’m not that bad am I Leo? You love me really, surely?” she grinned before her tongue appeared and mocked him playfully as she bit down on it and swung her hips from side to side as if she was exercising. Looking at the doors as they opened and revealed a pair of hufflepuffs and a Gryffindor, Lexie smiled at them and gave them a small wave before looking back at Leo, who seemed as uninterested as ever. Lexie didn’t like people hating her, and maybe it was a bad thing she kept bugging him because it was obviously making him dislike her more by the second, but she couldn’t help it. She had this uncontrollable urge to be liked, even the smallest amount, and if not, she always wanted to know why.
Feeling fidgety once again, Lexie took to sitting down at the spot she stood, looking up at Leo with her head in her hands and smiling slightly. Her hair blew across her face and she wiped it back with one movement before returning her head back to her hands. "Not really, I just wanted to see how my favourite boy Ravenclaw was doing" she said smugly.

People always questioned what kind of relationship Leo and Lex had. Many said it was hate, that Lexie wound Leo up to the point of him wanting to strangle the blonde girl. Others said that they both had a crush on eachother but tried to mask it through thier dislike. Leo often told them to mind thier own business, but in all honesty, Lexie did wind Leo up to the point of him wanting to strange her, but at the same time, sometimes he found it amusing. Though he would never tell her that. All the students in the courtyard were busy doing whatever it was they did, some cuddling thier honeys, some just relaxing, some studying and some arguing. Some were even watching Leo and Lex, obviously to see how the two communicated. When Lex stood up, Leo's eyes followed her, and with a raised eyebrow he listened to what she said.
"Do you really want me to answer that?" Leo asked, then scoffed when she said he must love her surely, "I'd love a three headed furry blast ended skrewt before I loved you." Leo tried to ignore the blonde which was stood infront of him, swinging her hips from side to side as though she was some kind of, well. A word Leo could not think of right now. He didnt pay attention when she let on to some Hufflepuffs and a Gryffindor. Unless the Puff was Gray, which it didnt look like it was, Leo really was not interested. Leo found it amusing how much Lex tried to get Leo to like her, she was a social bug who hated people hating her, which made this little rivalry a bit more fun for him, especially since she knew he got along with her best mate Beckii, but seemed as though he couldnt be in the same room as Lexie for too long. He had his reasons for not liking her, though of course, those reasons he would never tell.
"I thought your favourite Ravenclaw Boy was your brother." Leo stated, unimpressed by Lexie's smugness. Standing up, he turned to her, "Im going now, please dont follow me." Though of course he knew for a fact she would.

Lexie never knew quite why she liked to torment Leo so much. Maybe it was because he reacted so badly to it, or maybe because she liked to make him angry, because let’s face it, he’s not exactly like the back end of a flobberworm is he? Lexie certainly didn’t think so, although she would never admit this to anyone. Usually if she thought someone was cute, she would just say so and admit it freely and willingly, but for some reason she could never quite admit to herself or anyone else that she secretly thought Leo was cute.
Of course, after she had been teasing him for a while, she usually got bored or annoyed at something or other that he said. It was then that she usually went and went into a bad mood. When Bex would see her, she would know she would of seen Leo and they would of been fighting. He was the only one who brought out the worst in her, and Lex was never normally in a bad mood. However, right now the argument had only just begun and as she folded her arms over one another, she shifted her weight onto the other foot as she looked up at him.
“I already know your answer Leo, but I still think your hiding your true feelings for me” she answered back cheekily. Tapping her fingers on her arm, she shifted her weight once again before looking around the courtyard observing some random faces looking back at her. Sticking her tongue out at him once again, a favourite trait of hers, she was surprised he hadn’t hexed it off by now, and slightly scared at the thought she soon slid it back into her mouth as soon as it had popped out.
As he got up, she knew he was going to attempt to leave, but Lexie would not drop it until she was good and ready, and it had been many times they had gone through this situation. So many times in fact that Lexie would not be able to count them on her hands. Still, it was fun at least for a few minutes until she went to go and bug her brother and Beckii.
“Where do you think you’re going? I’ve not finished with you yet Mister Ryder” she smirked as he turned his back to her. Letting her arms go loose and drop to her sides, she sighed. “Must we play this game every time Leonard... the sooner you admit it the easier it will be”
