The day was just beginning and Vicky was having trouble getting started. She was restless though she had gotten a good night sleep despite having a man sleep on her sofa all night. Warren had said goodbye early knowing that he needed to get back to the pub and Heather. After dressing she stood around her quarters simply staring into space. She seemed to do that a lot lately and usually she tried to ignore it but today...sighing she picked up her things and started on her way out of the door. Her hand on the knob a flashback suddenly popped into her mind making her stop short. There was heat, bodies touching, lips coming together, fire, passion. It was a flash of her and Dan. Pulling her hand away she leaned against the door her breathing heavy. Why could she not get over him, why could that image not have been of Warren?
Her and Dan had been carrying on their affair for months now and her feelings and desire for him had not grown any weaker, but her love for another man was growing stronger. Damn, she didn't need this so early in the morning Daniel Hubbles was disturbing her peace of mind, disturbing her memories of Warren. Trying to shake off her impure thoughts she attempted to leave the room once more, making it out into the hall.
So far so good it was early yet not many people were out so she was safe to go into the Great Hall and get breakfast before the other staff members arrived. So she walked around hoping that he wouldn't be up and about yet. She knew it was kind of silly but she was afraid of seeing him especially today her thoughts were out of control, she wanted him and seeing him would only make it worse.
She was almost there, she'd run in grab something and get out sitting in her classroom to eat while trying to prepare for the days lesson. As she turned the corner she walked right into someone. There was no need to guess who, she could sense him several feet away. Vicky ran smack dab into Dan Hubbles. Common sense told her to turn and run the other way, that sounded good to her, but then the logical part of her told her that it would make her look immature and childish plus it might raise suspicions since there were other people in the halls.
Tilting her head up she looked right into his eyes. "Sorry about that I was in a hurry, guess I should learn to watch where I'm..." flashback. The same one she had earlier. She bit her bottom lip as every feeling took over her body. The heat started to rise and Vicky was having trouble catching her breath. Her attraction to him was palpable. If someone walked by them right now Vicky would give them away. She had to stop this. She shook her head violently willing the thoughts to just leave her in peace. "Dammit" she swore knowing she had to walk away from him. "I've got to go I'll see you later" she turned this time and did begin to walk away from him.

After five years of experience being a professor and of course the seven years from when he attended the school Dan Hubbles had learnt the odd thing, mainly where students sneak off too even in the early hours of the morning. As a result Dan had been wondering around the corridors of the castle since 6am and had already caught five students who had not been to bed yet, and Dan was going to make sure that they were not going to get any sleep when they should be in lessons. So surprising or not Dan was smiling happily to himself as he made his way down on of the many corridors of Hogwarts. He was leaving the distant smells of Breakfast behind as he walked further into the castle, heading around one of its many turns when someone walked straight into him.
“Watch whe-“He did not get to finish his sentence as that now all too familiar smell of perfume overcame him, straight away it sending a tingle down his spine and the hairs on his arms to stand on end. He had walked straight into Vicky.
For a moment the two of them just stood there, soon Vicky broke the silence by giving her excuse as to why she walked into him but she did not need to report to him like some student, she was a grown woman and a beautiful one at that. The silence soon fell over them again, Vicky biting the bottom of her lip while Dan tried to fight the wide grin spreading across his face and saying something inappropriate. Vicky however saved him from that seeing as she had turned to walk in the opposite direction.
“Whoa.” Dan quickly reached forward, his hand wrapping around her wrist and gently pulled her closer to him. “What’s wrong? Do I…” He did not get to finish as the sounds of students voice echoed down the corridor and almost as if he had been electrocuted his hand shot off Vicky’s and he took a step backwards removing all signs of intimacy. Glancing over the shoulder of his fellow Professor he saw the gaggle of girls appear.
“…also Professor Potter I think that maybe in lessons it would be wise to possibly divide the class up…” The girls were now walking past, Dan’s eyes flickered over towards them, theirs met his and putting on one of his cheeky grins the gaggle of fourth years burst into a fit of giggles and their cheeks turning crimson before hurrying along. “…meaning that you could give everyone in the class the correct amount of attention seeing as you…” The girls had rounded the corner and their giggles faded into the distance. “…seeing as you are so good looking.”
They has agreed to try and avoid confrontations such as this in the castle as you never know who could be listening in or around the next corner but at a moment like this Dan was finding it hard to keep to his word.

Vicky figured she would slink off quietly. Back to her room or maybe down to the kitchens for some food. The smell of Dan still lingering in her nose as she tried to forget wipe away all thoughts of him. From the beginning the had made the decision not to keep up their affair while in school. The risk was too great for him especially. She managed to keep up her end of the bargain by staying away from him or by trying to avoid being anywhere near him alone. This worked out very well for her until today. He had been out and about much earlier than she anticipated and now she had to run away because her mind was thinking things it shouldn't which made her body react in ways it shouldn't.
Dan on the other hand liked playing with fire. As Vicky walked she felt a hand suddenly wrap around her wait. Dan was pulling her back, pulling her close to him. Her eyes shut as she tried to wriggle free from him. He had to be reasonable this was the wrong time and certainly the wrong place. He started to speak but before he finished what he had to say the heard voices they proved Vicky right. Dan's hands suddenly dropped Vicky was too scared to be upset by this. What if it was her walking down the hall. Vicky's eyes were filled with fear.
Lucky for them this time it was a gaggle of girls too busy dealing with their own drama to really notice the odd behavior of the two adults in the hall. Dan started speaking again acting as if they had been discussing class, the lies flowed so easily from his lips and she realized he was a true master of deceit. This should have turned her off but it didn't nothing he did really turned her off. Even when he gave the girls his cheeky grin Vicky couldn't help but want to giggle too. He was so damn charming, his sort of charm should be illegal. He kept up the farce until the girls were out of earshot. Then naughty Dan returned. "Good looking huh. You know you incorrigible. I thought this kind of behavior was forbidden at school."
It was supposed to be but if she had ever gotten an inkling that he would throw that rule out the window every once and a while she would be at his beckoned and call. But he wouldn't because of his wife so again she tried to do the right thing at least in this instance "I should go anymore time spent in your presence and I might not be able to control myself." She was telling the truth and she hoped he would let her walk away this time. Turning from him she again tried to make an escape.

Dan could not help but chuckle as Vicky fired a few insults at him but he knew it was all in good fun so instead of taking any offence he simply stood sniggering like a school boy. Since their small disagreement on the supposed romantic picnic the two of them had formed a very warped friendship, well at least Dan thought they had, he always hoped Vicky never thought it could turn into anything more. However at the moment she seemed to be the only one thinking straight as tried to do the good thing and walk away but Dan knew something she did…Dia was down in the Great Hall eating and they were a few floors up.
Once again Vicky turned and tried to walk away but Dan knew he would not dare touch her again in fear that they would both snap so instead he stuffed his hands into his trouser pockets and jogged to catch up with Vicky before strolling beside her. Although he still could not remove the cheeky grin off his face as his voice dropt into hushed tones in fear that the portraits might overhear as they strolled by.
“So what you are trying to say is that I am irresistible?” He gave Vicky the quick once over with his eyes before continuing. “Cause I would not blame you.”
Dan could not help it, there was something about having this affair that had made his head swell even more. Maybe it was the thought that simply by getting married he had not lost his appeal to the opposite sex. Or simply Dan was such an attention seeking whore that he could not help but urge someone on in the hope of getting a few compliments thrown his way. Which ever one it was Vicky was the perfect source for it.

Every part of her tried to be good, keep a level head. They were at school and the walls had paintings, paintings with really big mouths and no sense of decency sometimes. As she walked away she felt their eyes on her. Of course she was being silly but that's how she felt anytime they were around each other in the castle. Her resolve around him was always so weak there want much he had to do to have his way with her, and this is why she was trying to get away from him now. Too bad they didn't seem to have the same idea in mind.
Vicky heard the footsteps behind her and all she could do was wonder why the heck he couldn't have just stayed where he was. He seemed insistent upon making things hard for her today. His wife was bound to be around somewhere and he didn't seem to be taking that too seriously. Thinking to herself if he wasn't taking things seriously why should she. A funny image popped into her head. She stood there telling Dan if he wanted her he could take her and Dan shocked at her sudden boldness freezing up like a little school boy and running away screaming boobies down the hall for everyone to hear. She giggled to herself then realized her was in step beside her.
Damn him just the smell of him made her go nuts. Her mouth was watering for him and every second she found it harder to be "good Vick". Of course she couldn't be good Vick because he wanted to be bad Dan. "Yes you are irresistible Dan which is why I'm tying so hard to steer clear. I can't hold out much longer I've been wanting you for days now and being this close is just too tempting."
Stopping suddenly turned and leaned against the wall looking at him. "Hmm maybe I'm the one you can't seem to resist. I've tried to walk away twice and both times you've done something about it. Tell me Dan what does that mean?" Her voice so low so only he could hear it. Something was going on he could allow her to be on her merry little way but he won't so now he needed to let her know why.

It was a simple thing for Dan, he knew he was irresistible to some women (particularly Vicky) and he had such a personality that he just loved to hear it over and over again. People inflating his ego were his drug, just like he seemed to be Vicky’s. As the two continued to make their way through the miles of corridors in the castle Dan found like a small school boy again, his hands scruffily in his trouser pockets stalking next to the girl he had a small crush on desperately trying to be the centre of their attention…although with Vicky that was not that hard.
When Vicky stopped and turned to lean against the wall Dan was taken slightly by surprise, although not as much as the words that were being murmured to him. Maybe she had a point; maybe he could not stay away and as Vicky words enticed him Dan soon found himself leaning closer to his fellow Professor. He placed his hand on the cold stone wall just above her head; his other hand was still buried in his trouser pocket. There faces where almost touching, he was like a predator moving in on his pray, he breathed in deeply inhaling her deadly sent and letting the warmth of her breath cause shivers to run down her spine.
“Interesting theory.” A cheeky grin filled his face. “But I have no idea what you mean; seeing as I have the restraint to walk away too.” He was so close to her now that he simply pursed his lips together and gave a slight kissing motion and his lips grazed the cheek of Vicky. To anybody who happened to be passing (and Dan was thankful that no one had done) they would not seen any physical contact as Headmaster Hubbles had pushed himself away from the wall and with a small chuckle started to walk down the corridor with a wide grin on his face. This was turning into a childish game of who would give in to temptation first and Dan being the proud, arrogant man he was he sure as hell was not going to lose this game.

As usual the two of them were playing with fire. Vicky wanted to be level headed, responsible, mature about things, but it never seemed to go down that way. Anytime she got around Dan she acted impetuous, reckless, out of sorts. Even now she was loosing the battle within her as he got closer to her. This attraction she had to him was the strongest thing she had ever known. This is what made their situation worse. He was like some sort of drug to her and she wanted to kick the habit, needed to kick the habit but she mind and more importantly her body refused to let her.
Of course he did everything in his power to make her crazy. Like nor for instance, he moved closer to her his hand above her head against the wall. With her every breath she could smell him his scent filled her nose making her shudder. Even his damn smell made him irresistible. "Why can't you just be some regular man one that couldn't make me look twice."
Closing her eyes and biting her lip she tried to regain composure, something that she couldn't seem to find because he got even close to her his breath on her face. She moved back until her back was practically molded to the wall. The last bit of restraint slipping slowly away. If she had any common sense she would just move away but of course that was gone. Instead he was the one to walk away from her. Leaning her head against the wall she tried to allow her breathing to become normal again.
But now he had done it, that last bit of control was done. So instead of him walking after her she walked after him. Taking several long strides she caught up in no time. Walking in step with him she turned her head to the side batting her long lashes at him. "OK I give I can't help myself around you. You are irresistible to me. Even here where I know it's wrong to want you I do. I admit defeat," she said giving him a fake sad face. She wasn't defeated, she had a longing and maybe just maybe giving him the ego boost he so wanted she would get that longing fulfilled.

It did not take her long to be back by his side. Although on the odd occasion it did worry him the power that he held over Vicky, but in a sick way he loved it. He loved knowing that a simple touch of their hands could send electric shocks through each other, how even the smell of each other had become so delectable and how he simply had to flash her a smile and she would come crawling on her knees to him.
“Is that it?” Dan acted out fake shock. “I win already, now that was easy.” With a small chuckle Dan’s gaze flicked over towards a group of students who were in the distance in the corridor. Straight away his hands came out his pockets, taking a deep breath his back grew straight making him stand tall and proud and that cheeky playful smile transformed into his more formal look. Soon the two Professors were almost upon the group of students and Dan could not help but play with fire that little bit more.
“As you were saying Professor Potter I think we need to work on your slight problem.” He gave a cursory glance at Vicky scared that if he looked her in the eyes his act would fail and he would burst out laughing. “Control is very important and we can not have you…you…” they were side by side with the couple of students and it was then Dan realised what they were doing. “Mr Adams. Mr Greg. Would you very kindly like to explain what you are doing to that poor suit of armour?”
"Hey Mr. Hubbles.” Blake calmly began as if this was a situation you would find him in everyday of the week “It is not I, it is this dear fellow he is jumping poor students..." “Jumping as attacking?” Dan questioned “Er…more like the kind of jumping you would be doing to Prof Potter if were you not married sir.” Harrison chirped up, finding it hard to keep a straight face. “We were only trying to help you Hubbles by stopping the randy fools.” Blake added, his charming persona lighting up the corridor around them. “But if you do not wish for our services sir we can easily leave.” Harrison gave a small bow to the two Professors. “Come Blake fair maidens require our services.”
Slightly bemused by the response he got from the two Gryffindors Dan watched them stride down the corridor as if nothing had happened. With a wide grin he turned back to Vicky but the man for once was lost for words, more out of shock by the Gryffindor’s response to the fact that Harrison had blatantly stated a truth that Dan had been shacking up with Vicky. “Crazy .” He muttered as once more Dan was making his way down the corridor keen to keep moving, but still spend some time with Vicky.
(Thanks to Imi for the help with Mr Blake! hehe!)

The whole thing was so very sad. She didn't seem able to control herself anymore. Dan was under her skin like no one had ever been, and it was so much harder to just let him be. Hence why she tried her best to keep her distance while at school. When they were alone and in no fear of being caught that was a different story. Then she didn't need to bother to keep herself in check, then she could make his head spin. They were a good match between the sheets, even he had to know that much. The thought made her grin, there were few things she thought right about this affair, more often then not she was fretting about it, but when it came to that part of their union she couldn't find fault.
He teased her when she admitted that she was too weak not to give into him. He was so cheeky sometimes she wanted to wipe the smug grin off of his face but those moments were fleeting. Especially now when she spied a couple of kids coming down the hall. Dan stood straighter his demeanor businesslike so she did the same. Now they appeared as two colleagues having a discussion on topics pertaining to the school.
He began going on about her slight problem her inability to control something or another, he never finished his sentence. Instead he went into headmaster mode and started to go off on the two Gryffindors that were messing around with some suits of armor. Vicky herself wondered what they were doing. Yes, the suits of armor were acting out but these didn't seem to be doing anything to anyone.
As Blake started to answer Dan, he made a comment that made Vicky have to look away for a moment, a tinge of red sneaking up her face. She didn't think the boy knew anything about what was going on between her and Dan, but then you could never tell how perceptive someone was. Calming down she turned not staring at either boy just focusing on the suits of armor as they spoke to Dan. She should have gone back to her room, that would have been the wise choice.
Glad when the two boys moved on Vicky started to rethink her decision about hanging around him now, the school was just too risky. "Crazy" he said and Vicky nodded, still stunned by how dead on Blake had been. "Dan maybe I should just go back to my room," she didn't stop or turn this time, just kept walking but she figured it would be best for the both of them.

At the sound of those few simple words the grin off Dan’s face vanished as the hilarity of the conversation with the two Gryffindors faded away. Now that was not something that he wanted to hear, the thought of Vicky going back her room right now would simply spoil his fun, he was enjoying this far too much. Some people might have simply thought that Dan wanted to ‘taste’ her again, feel the warmth of her breath upon his beck and the softness of her skin against his, and although these thoughts were present in the back of his mind it was not the driving force behind his actions. No, the thing that was making him continue to walk alongside with Vicky was for the thrill, the thrill of the adrenaline pumping through his veins as they diced with danger.
“Come on Vicky, your meant to be the head of Gryffindor.” With a small laugh Dan reached out and took hold of her soft hand, gently pulling her to one side and towards one of the many wooden doors that lined the stone corridor and lead to a classroom. “Where is your sense of adventure?”
His free hand made its way behind his back, taking hold of the cold metal doorknob and giving it a small twist. The door slowly began to open as Dan began to pull Vicky out of the corridor, away from the prying eyes of the portraits and into the privacy of the classroom. Slipping his hand out of Vicky’s Dan gave a cheeky smile before jumping up and sitting on one of the many desks, his legs swinging backwards and forwards over the stone floor, he was acting more and more like a school boy with every second that past.
“So…Professor, what lesson are you going to teach me?” Dan could not help but chuckle at this; his eyes were fixed up on the violet ones of Vicky as he watched her approach, waiting for that moment when she takes the bull by the horns and became that little bit more adventurous.

Her heart beat faster, the adrenaline was flowing freely. She thought back to a time when she was young carefree sneaking out of the Gryffindor common room with Robert Gordon for a little after hours snogging. They were so afraid of getting caught by the care taker but thrilled to be all alone just the same. It felt something like that now, the two were alone in the huge school wanting to be alone but knowing that they could get caught by professor or student alive. Vicky didn't think it would be fun but some tiny part of her couldn't stop thinking it was.
So far the school had been off limits for good reason but today the two seemed unable to stop themselves. For her it was her inability to resist Dan for Dan well who knew, it was probably some kind of thrill but not in the same way.
As her took her hand in his Vicky stopped and looked down at their hands. So far she tried so hard to resist and be good, but that simply touch had the last of her resolve shattered. She knew that she would not fight any more. He won, he always won when it came to her. This was the burden she had to bear when it came to her dealings with him, no matter what she found it hard to resist him for too long. So when he opened the classroom door and pulled her in she followed like a good little girl.
When he let her go and sat on the desk, Vicky allowed herself to forget where she was. She moved to him like a predator stalking her prey, eyes locked on him. Standing in front of him, a wicked little grin on her face she thought of what it was she could teach him. "Hmm, you're in need of some instruction are you? Well" she moved even closer so that now she was standing between his open legs. Moving her head to the side so that she could kiss his neck slowly, then moved back "I think I can teach you that." Now she moved to his cheek, "and that...Then we can end with this " her lips on his, her arms wrapped around his neck."

The school might be going to hell, but that didn’t mean that the prefects could stop their duties. Felicity grumbled as she found out testily from Bray that they weren’t allowed to just shirk their responsibility because they were attacked by suits of armor. “You still have your legs don’t you? Get to walking then.” Freaking school sucked when it came to things like this. Couldn’t she have a break from her duties, honestly. Everything was going wrong in this school, it’s not like she could bust the picture frames for flipping the bird at students as they walked down the hall.
So here she was, walking down the hall in jeans and another low-cut shirt with her hands shoved in her pockets. Nothing strange had happened to her yet, but she wasn’t going to speak too soon. Hence why she was clutching onto her wand with one hand, just waiting for an axe to come flying at her head, which would be unfortunate, considering she just did her hair perfectly this morning. All curly and nice, the damn suit that chucked it at her would have its metallic bum haunted.
She heard some chatter from students, and swerved over in that direction. When in larger groups, she had a better chance of not getting her head chopped off. To her surprise, she bumped into Harrison and Blake. Quite literally too. Their meeting went as usual, Harrison helping her up because she fell down, some chatting, then her walking away because she had to finish her route. She couldn’t help but feel a little smug as some boys who passed her down the corridor turned their heads to watch her walk by. Attraction was a strange thing, wasn’t it?
Speaking of which…
Fay paused while walking, sensing a pitch in lusty emotions that could not have originated from two teenage boys. Curious now, Felicity followed her intuition to one of the empty classrooms, where the door was shut and it didn’t seem like anyone was in there. But, her gut feeling was usually right on target. Veela’s just had that sixth sense about these things. It’s like sticking a fashion magazine editor in a room with all fraud clothing and have them pick out the only designer outfit. Strange analogy, but she wasn’t about to worry about that now.
As quietly as she could, she turned the handle and pushed open the door. She had impeccably good timing, for her at least. For Potter and Hubbles…not so much. As soon as she opened the door, Vicky’s lips were locked onto Hubbles. Let’s work out this equation children! Fay, who doesn’t all together like Hubbles, plus an affair, and her natural pride towards the Claw house—meaning she quite likes Dia. What does that spell for our two professors? Trouble, good job!
“I don’t think being Headmaster entitles you to those sort of privileges Hubbles.” Fay leaned against the door frame, a small smirk appearing on her lips.

There was no escaping who you truly were deep inside. You could try in vain to change and become that better person, cling onto the hope that by making this life changing step things could only improve, that life could only get better. For Dan his life changing step was Dia, she was the person who had changed him so much and for what everyone had thought that he had changed for the better. But clearly this just happened to be a part of Dan Hubbles that could not be switched off, all attempts to tame it had been in vain and even though he professed, and in fact, did love his wife more then any other women he was still sitting on a desk in an empty classroom with a beautiful woman weaving her magic on him.
To put it bluntly Dan just loved the female race too much at the present moment in time to be satisfied to stick to just one. “I like this lesson.” Dan muttered as Vicky slowly made her way up, kissing his neck and cheeks and then finally the soft flesh of their lips met, her arms locked themselves around his neck and Dan’s hands automatically took their accustomed position, one running through her long brown hair while the other was firmly placed on her behind. And the chances where this ‘lesson’ would have continued had it not been for the familiar sound of a certain Ravenclaw prefect filling the room around them.
“I don’t think being Headmaster entitles you to those sort of privileges Hubbles.”
Dan froze, his lips broke contact with Vicky’s and he dared not breathe almost as if he stayed still for long enough he would simply vanish with a pop and escape this now deadly situation. The seconds seemed to drag on in the silence that had filled the room and slowly Dan’s hands moved away from Vicky’s body, his head slowly moved backwards but all the while his cool blue eyes remained on Vicky’s and they could be read like a book. The original panic and fear was passing and instead it was being replaced with a look that said it all. ’Sorry’
“Having fun there Miss Locke?” Dan finally managed to find his voice and he was surprised how steady it sounded. Glancing over Vicky’s shoulder he watched the smug Ravenclaw lean against the doorframe. There was no point in trying to deny what she had seen, no point in pushing Vicky away from him and trying to pretend that he had been helping her get something out of her eye, it was as clear as day that the two of them had been joined at the lips the question was how quickly could Dan come up with something to get out of this?

Playing with fire was something Vicky vowed not to do when she got older. It was simply too stressful to deal with, all that went out the window that night in the Hogshead, Dan had let it be known that he didn't oppose having a fling with her. He had actually flirted and made her see that though he couldn't love her he did desire her. With that realization Vicky walked right into the flames and she loved every minute of it. No matter how many arguments they had, or how many times she hated hearing him say he had to go home to his wife Vicky danced in the flames happily.
In the classroom now the flames were out of control. This was the most daring foray they had ever indulged in. Vicky's lips locked on his and his hand smack on her bum. The heat between them palpable as usual. This was so wrong but dammit it felt so right. Kissing Dan always made her forget what she was doing. The effect he had on her was like a drug, and her addiction was out of control.
Even now when she should have said no to him not come into this room but then she couldn't help it and she was glad she did.
The joy she felt lasted only mere moments as she heard the door to the classroom open. Her heart stopped as a voice rang out it wasn't familiar but no doubt the person behind them had seen everything. Vicky had no idea what to do with herself, all she wanted was for the floor to open up and swallow her. Why in the world didn't she listen to her own instincts, she knew this was dangerous for both of them. The school was the last place they should be messing around with each other.
Dan looked at her and she at him, her eyes filled with fear at what was going to happen next. Her breathing was slow she couldn't believe how irresponsible they'd been. How was Dan going to spin this one? He looked over her shoulder to address the person Vicky was still too scared to look at, but what she heard him say had her looking at him as if he'd lost his mind. He wasn't denying anything, trying to talk his way out of it, he was pretty much letting this person know that she did see correctly. Vicky's mouth dropped open. "What are you doing" she whispered for his ears alone/

Perhaps as a veela Felicity could partially understand Hubbles’ way of thinking. If you were so clearly the object of many fleeting glances and flirtatious smiles, why not dabble in some dangerous waters? Better yet, why just stick to one person when you can “try” so many others? It was like different types of candy. Just eating chocolate all the time seemed boring right? So why not try jellybeans now and then, perhaps some lollipops too. Of course, it wasn’t what Fay believed in. Commitment was much more important than urges, wasn’t it?
So as she walked in, seeing the two Professors with lips locked, she couldn’t qualm the sudden bubble of hatred that coursed through her. The natural devotion to her house fueled her overall loyalty to a certain Dia Hubbles. And then seeing her husband snogging a co-worker, that was just too much. Even as she leaned against the doorframe, with her arms crossed, she couldn’t stop her fingers from curling almost painfully around her arms. I never could understand what she saw in him.
Apparently her ninja skills were working well, because they hadn’t known she was there until she announced her presence. And in response, both of the professors froze. Smile! You’re on candid camera. Part of her wanted to lunge and beat the snot out of Hubbles, but common sense kept her rooted in place. He would overpower her in a moment, maybe even wipe her memory. Of course, she could always charm him, but that was going to be the very last resort. Hubbles making googly eyes at her would have her vomiting for sure.
“Apparently I’m not having as much fun as you two.” Felicity still had her wand in her hand, almost afraid that Hubbles would try to attack her. After a moment of shifting her position, Fay finally noticed who the other professor was. Professor Victoria Potter. She had never personally had a class of hers, but she knew most of the professors from stories.
At least Hubbles wasn’t as much of a fool as she first thought. He didn’t try to deny anything—Fay would probably be scarred for life now. Potter seemed too frightened to even move. The professor probably didn’t even know who the veela was, how could she know if Felicity was truly dangerous or no? She was slightly surprised that a Professor would agree to have relations with a married man, a co-worker even! Honestly, Fay didn’t find Hubbles that attractive anyway. She still couldn’t fathom why Ellie would blush every time he said hello. The man was far too arrogant for his own good.
