Noah glanced behind him, smirking at the uncertainty on Polaris' expression. "Do you trust me?"
He didn't wait for a response, but reached behind him to catch her wrist in a gentle grasp. Pulling it forward, he placed her arm around his middle and waited for her other hand to follow suit. "If you do, you really shouldn't." Noah grinned, barely giving her time to adjust before kicking the broom into flight.
Though, he only hovered in place for a moment. If he stretched his leg far enough, Noah was sure he'd be able to touch the ground, and so hoped Polaris wouldn't feel too threatened by their height.
"All right, Stormwrath," Noah looked up into the darkening sky, spotting the crescent moon. "Try not to howl." He craned his neck to glance behind him and offered her a crooked smile. Though, as soon as he turned back to face in front of him, the broom sped forward.

As one her her hands was guided to rest around his waist, a faint blush formed on her cheeks. "Well, I trust you enough to know that you won't get us killed." She replied a bit softly before being jerked forward softly from the buck of the broom. Whimpering, Polaris quickly clung to Noah's form and buried her head down against his back.
From the Gryffindors mouth sprang a joke she couldn't help but laugh at. "Only on full moons, Noah." she said in return, laughing nervously. Her eyes had been closed the whole time, but curiosity got the best of her and made her open them. Soon enough, bi-coloured orbs peered down at the dizzying scene of the forestry and the like pass under them at an incredible speed. Well, maybe not incredible, but certainly faster than she had ever traveled before.
Becoming a bit dizzy and nauseous, Polaris began to lose her grip on Noah briefly before she corrected herself and clung tighter than ever. The whole ordeal made her want to close her eyes again and just fall asleep, but she persisted on and simply peered forward. "I don't see how you can love doing this.." She remarked, shifting around slightly.

"Do you see him?" Noah slowed down the broom, lowering their altitude until their feet brushed the mote's water. Untangling one of Polaris' hands from his waist apologetically, Noah bent forward and grasped the floating lily pad. Examining it, hoping for any clue that would lead them to the toad, Noah shook his head. "...Bloody toad."
Then, quite suddenly, a knobbly hand swiped at them from below the water, and Noah pulled back. "I suppose there's only one place left to go," he whispered, looking back at Polaris and noticing with a frown that three kappas were staring at the two of them hungrily. "And we definitely need to get out of here. Hold on."
He leaned forward on the broom, smirking as she pressed into him again. They accelerated past the mote, and Noah pointed ahead of them to the castle. "Our destination."
After a moment, he gazed up at the stars dotting the sky and turned his attention to Polaris' wary expression. Grinning playfully, he reached a hand to thread fingers through his increasingly windswept hair. "You wouldn't want to learn if you didn't think you'd love it too." He raised a brow at her, though didn't wait for her to agree before he turned his attention back on the castle.

Polaris was about to talk again before Noah said something profound.
"You wouldn't want to learn if you didn't think you'd love it too."
With a sigh of defeat, Polaris let her head fall and rest against his back. Not even bothering to fight, the Ravenclaw admitted to his statement."You know, you're absolutely right. But that's about the only thing that I'm going to be admitting to you." She said with a light laugh. Of course she wasn't serious, but it's not like Noah would go out of his way to ask her any personal questions or the like. Right?
But in relation to her answer and his statement, the girl gave him a soft poke in a sensitive spot on his stomach.
Sooner than she had expected, they were approaching the castle. "I hope he's in there. If not, I really don't want to come to such desperate measures for me to act like some sort of mutt and sniff him out." And that's what she needed least! Something to lower her pride and demean such a wonderous animal. But if worse came to worse, she'd have to suck it up and do it.
Polaris spotted a few trolls ambling around outside of the Toad Princes castle, but paid no mind to them. They were a piece of cake when matched up against the likes of Noah and herself. Among the trolls, Polaris could spot another, smaller beast, but couldn't tell what it was. Probably just some sort of goblin or the like..
"Better land us on the roof of the place and we can take it from there, lest you want to go against the trolls again?" She said, knowing full well what his answer would be. "Oh! And when we land, we can act like that guy in the muggle movies who sneaks around and stuff! What was his name... James Brown? Barker?... No.. Baldw--..No.." The attempts were many, but alas, none of them right.
With a pout and a huff, Polaris sat on the broom in contentment while silently brooding in her head about the mysterious actor who's name eluded her at the moment. She will get it eventually!

Peering over the edge of the broomstick, Noah cringed at the numerous trolls colliding with one another. It amused the Gryffindor to see them sending bewildered, almost apologetic, glances to one another when they knocked clubs - or even heads, at times - but he certainly took Polaris' advice.
"I'm always right," Noah jerked slightly when she prodded him, but caught the offensive fingers in his hand and grinned. "I don't need you to admit anything."
He was pleased when she mentioned the prospect of transforming again, though he tried not to let her onto that fact. It excited Noah, seeing the royal animal, and not remembering until a pair of unusually coloured eyes landed on him, that she was Polaris at all. "If he isn't here, then I've come to the conclusion that he was brutally massacred by one of those hideous kappas. I can live with either alternative." His voice was light, though obviously weary at that point.
Landing on the roof proved to be somewhat tricky. The castle they'd flown to looked much less majestic up close, mainly because of the fact most walls and the majority of the roof had been destroyed. Only crumbles and sloping stone remained, and Noah finally found one that he wasn't suspicious of falling under their combined weight.
"It's Bond," he whispered, the sun having completely disappeared. It was replaced by blurred moonlight that demanded a quiet, sinisterly atmosphere. Offering Polaris a small half-smile, eyes alight with mirth, he helped her off the broom. "I think you need to brush up on your Muggle Studies."
Clambering onto the small, groaning platform, Noah balanced himself on a ruined staircase. "No wonder his castle is torn to shreds; his peasants must have had a riot after realising how much trouble he is!"
