It had been quite the day. After running into Shayla Kane: Tyson's Hogwarts Years Crush, in the Three Broomsticks Tyson was in need of a little fresh air. He left the bar and planned just to stick his head out for a moment and then get a firewhisky, but I guess you could say things change.
Tyson got up and sort of bolted out the door. He thought he was going to be sick. Sitting on a nearby wicker bench, Ty sat and decided to rethink his life. Should he write about Shayla and himself for his next writing assignment for the Daily Prophet? Was it fate that he had run into Shayla this envening? Questions, Answers, Suggestions... everthing was running together. He decided he needed to get away. Go somewhere he hadn't been in awhile. Hogwarts- the perfect place. He always felt at home either at the castle or in his office at the Daily Prophet building in Diagon Alley.
Sighing to hisself, Tyson got up and made a sprint for the castle. Hope they don't mind visitors, because Ty wasn't going to take no for an answer. He finally made it to the Great Oak Doors when tons of school year memories began to come back to him and fog up his brain. He slid down the door and sat there for a moment. He could of sworn he heard some funnies noises from inside, but blew them off for a second. Finally it began to irritate Ty that he couldn't figure it out; so he jumped up and opened the grand doors and looked around. It hadn't changed a bit.
Tyson took in all of the castle's scenery. It was good to be home. "Home Sweet Home!" Ty breathed as he wandered the halls. The staircases seemed to be quite edgy, and he thought that the Whomping Willow was just too calm, but nothing could really be going on. Then he remembered why he came in. The noises. Ty walked up and down the corridors until he finally heard the sound get louder. Hmm- it was coming from the Library.
Deep breaths were constantly being made as Ty opened the door. What he saw was unimaginable. He had to be dreaming. He pinched himself,"Ow!" Aparently he was alive and this was really happening. Tyson stared around the room. He walked over to a bookshelf and book plopped off the shelf and his his foot! "Good Lord!" Ty shouted as he rubbed his foot. That book weighed a ton. As he figured out what was going on Ty got a bit freaked out. There didn't seem to be anyone here and it wasn't his fault. Tyson bent down to start picking the books up when more fell over on the opposite bookshelf and hit him, he fell over into the bookshelf in front of him. His arms were stubbed and his face a bit scraped up. What was going on here? He wondered?

Kayleen walked swiftly down the halls of the castle, she was furious. How could her mother do this to her? Why would she bother doing this to her? Kayleen needed to study, but after her mother sent her that letter she couldn't think. She saw the library and went bursting into the room. Kayleen went over to the shelf grabbed a book and took it to a table. She opened the book and began to read, or at least try to read. She got to page four when a guy walked in.
She noticed the guy from the Daily Profit. He must have come in do to all the noise that was happening. He walked towards a bookshelf and a book came flying at him. "Oh my gosh." Kayleen screamed loudly. Kayleen went running over to the guy and another book came flying out. Kayleen quickly dodged it and ran over to the man. "Are you ok?" she asked.
As she was asking another book came flying up, behind her. She got hit in the back and fell. "Oww!" she screamed. "What the bloody hell?" she blurted out. She looked around and noticed that no one else was in the library, but them. So no one else could have done it. Books where flying everywhere, she tried to doge them all, but she couldn't.
Books kept hitting her and she tried to escape, but it was no use. Kayleen noticed the guy beside her, he was getting hit just as much. Kayleen pulled out her wand and stated a spell "Eh Stupedo." Light flared out of her wand, but it backfired. "Ahh!' she screamed.

The contents of her trunk were now strewn all over her side of the room. She could have sworn she'd brought her book back with her from home. Her memory was up to snuff, there wasn't much she forgot and if she ever did forget anything she didn't take it very well. Like now she was behaving like a spoiled brat stomping her foot, screaming, throwing things. Her roommate left the room saying something about crazy, and Julia being in the wrong house. She had no time to decipher what that meant. She was in search of her missing book.
Trying to think back to when she saw it last Julia remembered the kitchen, her parents arguing, then her throwing the book across the table out of frustration. After that she locked herself in her room and left the book where it landed. She had been so miserable the rest of her vacation she forgot about it.
She cursed quiet explicitly before deciding to head off to the library. They surely had to have a copy of Divination Truths and Myths. Taking off down the halls she simply hoped there wouldn't be too many people in the library she just wanted to get the book and get out. Nearing the library she heard an ungodly racket. Running into the library she found a scene out of some cheesy movie on magic. The books were attacking a someone a man someone. She had no idea who he was but he was getting his arse handed to him. Turning her head to see if there was anyone else there she saw another girl. "What's going on" she cried out to her.

"Ah Ah, Bloody Hell, Shit, Damnit, What the Heck?" Were the noises that swarmed in Tyson's mind. This was a mad house, a wreck, a mess. But Tyson didn't talk like that, so who was saying all of those terrible words. Ty hoped it wasn't the books: talking books would mean that he was losing his mind, and that couldn't be good. But then again he hoped it wasn't an innocent student cursing!
Tyson heard some noise next to him, so he glanced over. A little Slytherin girl, maybe in her fourth year was lying on the ground next to him. She was having books fly at her left and right. They seemed to have layed off of Tyson for the moment, but as soon as he lifted his head to get a good look at the girl the books started smacking his head, so he ducked down and stood real still. The girl got brave and yelled a spell, but it backfired and she flew up against the bookshelf and making more books mad. This was so strange.
The girl was screaming and really freaked out. Tyson stood up, but stayed extremely still. "Be careful and calm!" he yelled to the girl, hoping she would listen to his advice,"Stand real still and they'll forget about you!" That seemed to be true and Ty hoped it was the truth, it seemed to be working.
A bit later Tyson heard the Library door slam open for the second time. There was no noise, aparently whomever it was was very stunned and was lost for words. Then suddenly they yelled:
"What's going on"
Well if they knew that they wouldn't be in this mess would they, so he yelled back,"Isn't it obvious? We're not exactly sure, but it seems the books have lost control!" That sounded right, Tyson felt it was the only thing he could say without lying. Laughing to himself he turned to the other girl and asked,"Are you hanging in there?"

Kayleen was panicing. She was trying to hit and kick the books away, but it wasn't working. She just sat there for a minute and she heard the guy yell Stay Calm, don't move. It seemed to have worked, because seconds later the books stopped. She calmly stood up, but fell down again. Her anckle was broken she could feel the pain rushing towards her anckle. "Ahh" she screamed, but when she saw the books start to move again she shut up. She sat there in pain, hopeing someone would do something about these books. What's going on? She wanted to answer, but didn't actually no how to. Whoever did this, put a spell on the books. She knew who it was. It was whoever was, after a book that was famous, that probaly went missing. What book you may ask. Well Kayleen actually couldn't answer that, she could guess, but she wouldn't be for sure. If it was her guess she would saythe book on Harry Potter, himself. It was one of the five copies left in the world. Hogwarts was blessed to have it. It was her guess, but not her answer thats for sure. "Isn't it obvious? We're not exactly sure, but it seems the books have lost control!" Kayleen was going to try and speak. This time on the answer the guy had given to the girl that had just arrived. If the books started up again, she would have to stop, but she was going to give it ago. "The books have a charm on them." she answered swiftly. Nothing happened so she went on. "Someone, looking for a book of some sort, probaly got angry, because the book was either missing or checked out. I'm guessing it was missing, because you can see if a book was checked out. The person who did this was of course angry, because that book was important to them in some sort of way." Kayleen stated quickly. Kayleen looked down at her body. She had huge cuts on he arms and alot of bruises all over her body, but the only thing that was going to need to be taken care of was her left anckle. She was starting to feel the pain again. "Ahh" she screamed again. She didn't know what to do, what if a spell backfired? Well she could only try. She went to pull out her wand, but she forgot it went flying across the room when her spell backfired. "Damit" She screamed angryly.

The snippy remark from the older gentleman being beaten up by some books is what made her suddenly find his plight most interesting. Like the other girl said someone must have gotten angry and put a spell on the books. It was rather ingenious actually, completely amusing too. Julia had the urge to laugh out loud. Her parents taught her better manners than that but they seemed to have flown out the window just then as she started to giggle. At first she covered her mouth as if trying to contain the noise, then she thought why? It was funny so why not laugh.
Removing her hand a loud fit of giggles ensued. Boy she really wished she could have seen the student who had done this. Probably would have given he or she a medal and told them they did a good days work. Julia was being rather spiteful which wasn't like her but well her had irked her with his isn't it obvious comment.
She should have walked away that would have been the right thing to do. No it wouldn't have her inner voice reminded her. Yes, right right that would be the wrong thing to do. Gryffindors didn't walk away from people in need. That wasn't their M.O. but Julia wasn't feeling much like a Gryffindor was she. Trying to stop the inner turmoil going on inside her she sauntered into the library the books hopping off shelves throwing themselves at whatever came near them.
One launched itself at her and Julia ducked just in time. Now they were getting personal, her eyes narrowed as she pulled out her wand. Trying to think of the best thing to do, the best way to stop them she suddenly got a clue. If it was a spell she knew what should work"Finite Incantatem" she cried out. The books took a few more liberties before they started to drop to the floor. The room became enveloped in a cloud of dust as thud after thud could be heard. "Sheesh what a spell" she said still amazed at the genius of some people.

This was ridiculous. Tyson wasn't all for being strict on rules or anything, but this Slytherin over here had a mouth, a strong cursing one at that. Plus she thought she knew everything. No wonder Ty never liked them as a student. Rude, horrible, cruel things they were. He had to say something, i'm sure that nobody else here enjoyed her cussing anymore than he did. "Um... hey could you cut it out... the cursing?" It came out more fo a question than a statement, but he was sure she'd understand either way.
Now for the theory. Yep it was sort of thought out, but he thought more that she threw it together to sound intelleigent, but Tyson wasn't convinced. It wasn't likely possible for it to happen. Hogwarts very highly controled and put together and it is very protected. "Um that is a possiblibility, but not very likely." He said plain as day, no other way to explain it.
"Finite Incantatem"
Tyson heard someone yell a spell. He looked over hoping the books wouldn't tackle him. It was the Gryffindor who had walked in earlier. Wow she was still here. All of a sudden all of the yelling, screaming, booming of books was quiet and the room was surrounded in smoke. "Thanks!" he yelled to her through the smog. That was nice of her and very brilliant of her to do such a thing. As soon as he stood up he heard the other girl yelp in pain. "What's wrong?" he asked. Ty bent over to help her and a book on the floor wiggled. "That's it stand completely still..." Ty said. This would make a great article.

"Um... hey could you cut it out... the cursing?"
Kayleen listened as he asked the question. Kayleen blushed a little. "Yes, Sir. I'm sorry." she blushed again, while apologizing. Normally people think its good to let out your inner expression, but not everyone so she had to be more careful.
"Um that is a possibility, but not very likely."
Kayleen started to think about it more and more. She knew what the person was looking for, but most people older then her didn't believe her so it didn't matter. "Yea possibly." she replied. "It was a bit outrageous.
"Finite Incantatem"
Kayleen looked up as the girl said a spell. How did she do that? Kayleen tried that it backfired. "Wow! How did you do that, when I tried it backfired?" She was amazed.
"What's wrong?"
"Broken ankle, cuts, bruises, and sprained wrist." Kayleen rattled off. She needed her wand so she could use the spell. In fact maybe thats all she needed to heal completely.

Apparently the other girl had injured herself or gotten injured by one of the books. She felt bad but part of her wanted to laugh, injury by book would be interesting to have to tell the nurse when she went to the hospital wing.
Somehow the other girl found it rather interesting that Julianna managed to stop the onslaught of books. Julia didn't see what was the big deal it was a simple spell one she had used many times before nothing new about it nothing difficult. Perhaps she had attempted it and couldn't make it work.
"I don't know I just said the spell and the books stopped. Who knows maybe I had more power behind the spell or I don't know." Maybe whoever cast this spell had lifted it themselves or maybe Julia just did throw more power at it than her counterpart. This might always be a mystery.
"Any it's no matter not now anyway, the books have stopped and you're hurt maybe we should try to get you to the hospital wing or something. I'm afraid I don't know that many healing spells or not any that can help you now." Looking to the older man she said "You a teacher here?"

Tyson watched as all the books just stopped. They didn't drop and only a few continued to wiggle, but other than that Ty was impressed by the girl's choice of spell. But it didn't matter now this girl had gotten a spell to work other than the Slytherin.
He smirked as he looked at the Slytherin ramble off all of the things that were wrong with her. She didn't look that bad, but what kind of man would he be if he didn't take care of her and of course these kids hadn't see their families in forever, so he scooped up the snake and walked over to where the other girl was standing.
"No i'm afraid not-" Tyson answered. He debated telling them more information on himself, they might trust him more if he did, so he continued,"I'm Tyson White, Head Daily Prophet Writer..." He smiled as he set the girl on a Library table. "So who are ya'll, names, houses, ages... go go go!" he said as he laughed. Wow what a day!

Kayleen watched Tyson as he was thinking to himself then cast her gaze on the Ravenclaw girl. They where talking to eachother and Kayleen then looked at her wand clear across the library. She frowned and then looked up and saw Tyson coming towards her, without asking he scooped her up and began walking to the door. All in all the only thing that was honestly hurting Kayleen was her left leg and her right risk. She was wondering who this Tyson guy was anyways. She looked for any hints of clues, but nothing cam up.
I can walk by myself.Kayleen insisted, hopeing he would listen. She wanted to cure her left leg, but her wand arm was hurting so bad. She moaned a little and tried to ease pressure off her left leg and right risk. She couldn't think to do anything else, but smile and frown. She looked at Tyson as he explained who he was. "I'm Kayleen, I'm a fourth year, and unfortunatly as you can see I'm in slytherin." She said 'Slytherin' with disgust, but politly introduced herself. She looked at the Gryffindor girl, "Isn't your name Julianna Farraday?" She asked nicely. If Kayleen was correct she was in her Defence against Dark Arts class.
