Noah Yves was good at potions. In fact, he might have even stretched so far as to say he was bloody great at it, if he thought the fact might have impressed anyone - Which it didn't, especially not the Ravenclaws.
But, all the talent in Hogwarts couldn't have motivated him to trudge sluggishly into the library and open a dusty tome on potions. As sloth-like as he felt late that afternoon, Noah had avoided doing research on the Bulbadox potion which he'd - later that night - have to brew. Instead, he'd found a much more interesting Potions book.
Clutching it underneath his arm as he entered the seemingly empty Infirmary, Noah peered cautiously around one of the beds, before tossing the heavy book onto the sheets and flipping it open. After a moment of relentless searching, his slender finger paused on the subtitle of a lengthy paragraph.
"How to brew Bulbadox Potion - The easy way." Noah murmured aloud, his lips quirking into a bright smile. "Can't believe all it requires is the antidote to boils and a bit of Bubotuber Pus... Now, where does Nish keep his antidotes?"
In order to find the answer, Noah quietly began to open cupboards and doors alike, humored eyes searching.

It was around evening and Kalieena was out of work for the week. Which means, no St. Mungos. Personal days were always very important to Kali, so a week each month was put aside for Kalieena to whatever she please. This week it was getting away London... she decided to send some time at Hogwarts. Her favorite place to be, except for St. Mungos that is. She had been staying at an Inn in Hogsmede, oh so close to Hogwars.
Tonight though, she felt the urge and need to go visit some old friends in the castle. Her favorite of course of Nish, who taught her so much, and half inspired her to become a healer. Kalieena only hoped he was in the Hospital Wing. She tip-toed inside the castle in sweats and made her way up the flights of stairs till she mde it to the Infirmary. "Ah flobberworm, it seems empty!" Kali observed when she peeked in and listened.
But Kali learned a long time ago not to trust her instincts, so she walked right in. She could hear some rustling of pages... was someone in here? "Hello?" Kali whispered, then repeated it a bit louder. Kalieena knew she wasn't alone. She paced the hospital wing keeping one hand on a piece of fruniture at all times. She moved her eyes slowly to the bed she was holding. There was a potions book lying flat open on a page. Skimming it from far away Kali couldn't read a single word. She walked slowly around the bed to find a Gryffindor bent down searching through cabinets. "Um... who are you?" Kalieena asked calmly.

Summer- relaxing days, the suns heat, school is out for students, and family comes to visit! Such a wonderful word it is. Tyson loves the word summer. Although he didn't have any family that came to visit him, wasn't in school to celebrate the ending of term, and barely got to relax because work was still in progress for him... it didn't matter just the feeling of the word mattered and the spelling of course. Being a ravenclaw graduate and all Tyson loved to examine words and all.
So far for his next article, Tyson White, one of the best Daily Prophet Writers the magical realm has ever seen, was empty handed and didn't have a single idea. He decided that he would go into Hogsmede and see if they had any ideas... they were his last hope. Once getting there and seeing Hogwarts, the huge castle and its beauty, an idea popped into Ty's head. He would write an article about Hogwarts... something going on around it or in it! "Yes that's it!" Tyson shouted aloud as he strolled the sidewalk under the moonlight.
Tyson White was going to write an article about students that spend their summers at Hogwarts. What did they do for fun? Who did they hang out with if their friends had gone away? Did the cooks still cook? Were the common rooms still clean? About how many students stayed? He had more and more questions buzzing around in his head. This was going to be Tyson's best article yet!
He sprinted up to the grand oak doors and pulled them open. It was good to be home again. He sniffed the air an debated where to start. Tyson agreed with himself he would start with pictures. Where at though... hm... The Hospital Wing. He was going to take pictures of every inch of the school. Tyson ran up the flights of stairs until he reached the Infirmary. As he stepped in he found most of the lights off except for one near the cupboards. When he peeked to see what was going on, Tyson found a Gryffindor students and an adult who he recognized to work at St. Mungos. He began to snap photos, but realized they didn't know what was going on. "Hey... what's going on here?" Tyson asked realizing he didn't know what was going on either.

Blast.
Noah stared up at the two adults with slightly humored eyes, while also frantically searching for some explanation. Glancing quickly toward his potions book, he reached an arm up onto the Infirmary bed and shoved it onto the floor. Covering the paragraph with his foot, Noah put on an exaggeratedly sickly look.
"I'm not feeling well... I just need a quick pepperup potion, I think-- Hey!" The flash of camera distorted him for a second, and he leaned back against the cabinet. Coincidentally, it turned out the cupboard only held cleaning supplies. "I hope you at least got my right side," he murmured darkly whilst blinking. "Echo tells me it's my better angle."

Kalieena sat on one of the empty beds watching the sick students sleep in their beds, cough up storms, and look like they are about to puke. It wasn't the best place to be, but she really wanted to see the nurse. Kali watched as the student put on a sick face and hid the book. Aparently he didn't know she already seen it.
"Excuse me..." Kalieena searched for something to say,"You never said your name son!" She just looked blankely. That was until Tyson White came in. She would know his face from anywhere. Kali loved his work and cut out his column of the daily prophet. He came in and automaticaly began to snap pictures. "Um..." was all Kalieena managed to mutter, she really ddin't know exactly what was going on. And Kalieena couldn't help but laugh at the boys remark. It was quite funny.

Post by Archibald Nish on Aug 14, 2008 22:16:01 GMT
There was a commotion on the other side of his office door, Archi glared at the dark, dry wood with a raised eye brow. The four foot five tall man had his feet crossed at the ankles, feet propped on the desk in front of him, with an interesting book on the life and times of Hengist of Woodcroft open on his lap. He had been reading, but that had started possibly an hour ago. Archi had fallen asleep and it was thanks to the goings-on in the Infirmary that he had awoken. This did not please the man, as he hated being interrupted doing anything, but if a sideways glance was taken on the matter it was probably for the best.
Sighing, Archibald rubbed his eyes as he closed the book, swinging his legs down off the desk. With his small hand, Archi placed the book on the desk in front of him as his other hand ran down his face. He had seen the time and was not happy about there being people in the Infirmary without them calling for him, but he was more unhappy at himself for falling asleep. Taking in a deep breath, Archi pushed back his chair and jumped off his chair, heading for the door.
Wrenching it open, Archi saw that the supposed-to-be empty Hospital Wing was occupied by one man with a camera, a student with a book, and a face Archi had not seen in years. This was all a little too much for the short man to handle all at once and he stood in the doorway for a second longer then he had intended on doing. When he came back to himself, the first person Archi set his sights on was Kali.
"Well, well, if it isn't Ms Kalieena Bennet," Archi said in his husky voice, one eye brow raised as he walked towards her, hand out stretched to shake. "How long's it been? Three, four years? How have you been?" Archi was always interested to know what was happening in the place he had lived in practically night and day for a majority of his life. It was a form of nostalgia but he wouldn't admit to that.
Next, the student. Archi rounded on him, pulling the book he had out from under him. "And what's this?" he asked, giving the boy a piercing look, "Bulbadox Potion, 'ey? Whatever are you wanting to know about that for?" It was suspicious behaviour, even for one so gifted as this one was. Archi slammed the book shut and, remembering the third person, put the book down on the chair that stood next to this particular bed.
Nish clenched his fists tightly and stormed up to the man with the camera. "Oy!" he growled at the man, not caring why he was there, "what ya think ya're doing?" The healer's wand was out within a flash and he was brandishing it accusingly at the man. "Get out! And take your rotten camera and your flash photography with you!" Archi cared little for his sort. Photographer, reporter, it didn't matter, he disliked them all.
