Hattie sighed as she flopped into a seat in the Gryffindor common room. She wound a strand of her curly blonde hair around a finger and wished her muggle hair straighteners worked here.
Alas, they did not.
Hattie groaned as she caught site of her bulging back-pack, resting against the base of the chair. She kicked at it resentfully, the bag toppling over and spilling it's contents across the floor.
Hattie groaned again and buried her face in her hands.
"Why do I have so much homework? Why?" She moaned into her hands.
She rubbed her tired eyes with the palms of her hands and kicked her loathsome bag again. It responded by merely scattering her homework further across the floor.Hattie moaned again.
"I'm such an idiot! Now i've got to clean all this up!"
She slid off of her chair and onto her knees on the floor. She began roughly snatching up the contents of her bag from across the floor, working her way across the floor, leaving a large, messy pile of books, quills and parchment behind her.
When she reached one of the sofas opposite the one she had previously slouched on, she bent slightly, to reach under and retrieve a quill that had rolled underneath. Her fingers scrabbled blindly in the confines under the sofa, until they closed around a small, round, cool object.
Hattie pulled it out, a confused expression on her face, and put her palm under her nose, to look at the object closer.
It was a small golden ball.
Hattie blinked once.
"What the...?"
She stood up and held the ball above her head, so that people that stood taller than her short height would be able to see it.
"Does this belong to anyone?" She called, looking around for an answer. [/font][/b]

Hatties face split into a smile as she held the snitch out to the girl.
"Hattie. Hello Sarie." Hatties grin widened.
"How come your snitch ended up under a sofa?" She absently kicked at the quill she had orginally been searching for, accidentally snapping it.
"Whoops."

"Wow! I've always wanted to be good at Quidditch, but, unfortunatly, it's just not something i'm good at. My little brother is excellent though, he's only four, but he's already flying everywhere!" Hattie giggled to herself.
"I like yours, it's so unique, it's excellent! And Fourth. You?" Hattie grinned widely.

"3rd. You have a little brother cool. I'm an only child. What classes are you taking?" Sarie sat on the couch while sticking the snitch in her pocket. "We could go out to the pitch on nights the teams don't have practice and we can play if you want. I'll warn you now I'm not really good a explaining things." She said with a smile.

Hattie tilted her head slightly, mentally listing her classes.
"Care Of Magical Creatures, Defence Against The Dark Arts Herbology, Transfigurations, Potions." She ticked them off on her fingers as she said them.
"Err, hopefully." Hattie added, flushing slightly.
Hatties face lit up.
"Really? You would do that? I'm sure you're great at explaining things, and even if you're not, it would be more fun to learn by practice with a friend than by myself." She grinned at Sarie

Hattie smiled.
"Me too. Truth be told, I don't know many people here, i'm hoping to meet more and make some friends." She flushed and shrugged slightly.
Hattie flopped into one of the couches and aimed a kick at the pile of homework, missing it, widely.
She wrinkled her nose in disgust.

Sarie bent down to pick up the homework. "Here lets get this off the floor. We don't want any thing to happening to. It would suck to have to do it all over again." She gather them up and handed them Hattie.

"Thankyou. Argh, i'd hate to have to do it all again, that would kill."
She shoved the loose parchment roughly into her bag and dumped the bag at the base of the sofa.

Hattie blinked.
"Oh... errmm..." She bit her lip nervously, mind going blank.
"I don't know, I don't really mind, whatever you want." She blurted sheepishly, blush creeping over her nose and cheeks.

Her nap had been longer then she intended. She needed it actually. It was hard staying up late to study. Julianna had been doing it a lot lately though her motives were anything but pure. Her new little habit was still under wraps and she kept it that way by making sure no one else was around to see her doing it.
As she headed down the stairs from the girls dorms ready to take a little trip outside when she heard voices in the common room. Poking her head around the corner she noticed to girls having an animated conversation. They seemed to be enjoying themselves so Julia decided she might join them.
"Hey there gals what's the happening in here?"

Sarie turned to see Julianna. "We're just talking that's all. Come join us." She said while moving over on the couch to make room. "How are you doing?" She asked. She loved talking.
