The Character
Name: Chantal Debussy
Nicknames: (If any) Talia
Job Title: Worker in the Department of Magical Games and Sports
Age: 23, born November 23rd.
Blood: Pureblood
Wand: 9 inches, holly, dragon heartstring, and phoenix tail feather
Personality: Chantal Debussy grew up with everything a girl could ask for, her parents were very well to do and bent over backward to to whatever their little girl wanted, and give their little girl whatever her heart desired. Despite this someway somehow Chantal wasn't effected by this. Most kids would have grown up to be spoiled brats thinking they were entitled to anything and everything. This wasn't Chantal, she was probably the most down to earth person you would ever meet. Though her parents had everything, she didn't need much nor did she really ask for it. She was a happy child just being loved by the two people she loved most. This is the way she grew up to be.
Chantal could always be found with a smile on her face, even during the darkest times Chantal would find some way to see the bright side of things. To do with the happy demeanor Chantal is very chatty, she loves talk and can usually discuss a myriad of things with ease. That has to do with her big brain, she always loves to study, reading books is one of her biggest turn ons. That's probably why she was a former Ravenclaw when she was at school when she was at school.
Chantal was also a sports nut growing up, it wasn't even just magical sports either though she did feel that Quidditch was the best game ever created. Chantal enjoyed muggle sports too like baseball, basketball, soccer, rugby. Even in school she knew that when she was done she was going to do something that had to do with sports. Most of the time she was labeled the tom boy, but she was noticed by the other boys regardless.
Chantal was also a very good friend, she didn't just get along with some people she did her best to get along with everyone. Though most of her classmates during her time at school were focused on house rivalries Chantal was focused on how to make new friends. The girl was a true people person, loved to meet new people get to know others who were different from herself. Once you were her friend Chantal was loyal to you to a fault. She was the kind of person who would have your back no matter what.
Though Chantal was a very happy go lucky girl she also didn't take crap from people. Behind the soulful eyes, and bright smile lurked a girl with a temper. If you messed with her she would mess back. Chantal wasn't afraid to speak her mind if and when need be. She had a voice and there was no reason not to use it. There's also a very nurturing side to her which is what makes her a good mother to her young son Christian. It also helps her as wife because she can be there for her son and her husband and they always know they can count on her.
Appearance:
Chantal is a dark haired beauty. She's got an olive complexion as if she just walked off the beach after sitting there for hours. To go with her complexion she had dark brown eyes, but not plain brown ones hers have depth to them, when you look into them you can easily get lost while you're trying to figure out what it is she's thinking. Her hair is long, brown and flowing below her back while it cascades around her oval shaped face. Her lips are full a soft pink color that never really needs lipstick but she's a girl so lipstick and gloss are a part of life. Like most of the women in her family she is very thin, not waif like thin (the way some super models look) but thin with curves in the right places. Though she's not the most beautiful woman in the world she is still the kind of woman that could turn heads when she walks into a room.
History: Daniella and Jean Paul Debussy met while students at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizadry. Both were the same age and in the same house Ravenclaw. During their first few years of of school the two hardly ran into or noticed each other they were both more concerned with school than relationships, which was what they had in common. After fifth year was over and O.W.L.s were taken the two literally ran into each other in the halls. Of course by this time one knew the other but not well, but for some reason that changed on that day. The two of them seemed to have this intense attraction to one another. It was good but the attraction was something that could not be controlled. During the summer break of that year they managed to see each other as much as they could.
After summer was over and the two returned to school, they were a full blown couple. They spent every minute together and became best friends as well as lovers. There was no doubt in anyone's mind that the two would be married by the time they were done with school. After seventh year there was talk of marriage but the two felt they were way too young for that. They wanted to wait a few years get themselves settled in their careers. Daniella wanted to work in the ministry as an Auror a dream she made come true after several years of extensive training. While Jean Paul decided to become an Unspeakable, another job that took years of training.
The couple settled into their careers in their early twenties, it wasn't long after that they were married and moving into their first house in London. The two couldn't have been happier, that was until Daniella found out she was pregnant two years after they married.
November 23rd 10pm Chantal Debussy was born. The dark haired little minx was a handful, she just could never sit still but her parents loved her for it anyway. Then as soon as she could talk it was obvious that she was a talker her mouth was always going she would sit down with her parents and talk about her whole day from the moment she woke up to the moment they sat for dinner. Her parents loved her enthusiasm and even encouraged it. Chantal was the most loving nurturing child. She cared for everything and everyone. At five she found a bird lying in the yard its wing was bent and Chantal brought it in the house and somehow nursed it back to health.
Chantal was the ideal child even when she came into her powers her parents explained to her that she couldn't use them freely and Chantal listened to them, they explained to her about Hogwarts and how she would be going there when she turned 11. Chantal was so excited by this she waited every day for her letter though she wasn't 11 yet. She was mostly looking forward to seeing the owl that would deliver the letter. Her parents didn't have an owl they didn't want to look too conspicuous to their neighbors.
The day had finally arrived, her 11th birthday came and just as her parents had predicted in July her letter arrived by way of a big tawny owl. Chantal took the letter from its beak and read it on her her own. She was accepted, she was headed off to the same school her parents had gone to.
Chantal went to Hogwarts and had the best time. She was accepted to Ravenclaw like her parents before her where she accelerated in all of her classes. She was an amazing student did well in all her classes especially charms and transfiguration. Not to mention she fell in love with the sport of Quidditch she was one of the best players on her team, she played the position of seeker and in her fifth year was made captain.
After leaving school she knew that she wanted to continue with her love of sports and she went to work at the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Magical Games and Sports. She was one of the youngest workers there but due to her family connections and her exemplary grades in school she secured a position by the time she 18. Chantal was very mature for her age and he took the position seriously.
When she was around 20 years old her life seemed to fall completely into place. She met Aelfwine Tab who at the tie was a reporter for The Quibbler (although he is now the editor). He was doing an article about the upcoming Quidditch World Cup. Chantal had a big part in the planning of the event so Aelfwine wanted to speak to her. Somehow the two seemed to hit it off and after that started to date. Theirs was a whirlwind romance they had only been together for 6 months when Aelf proposed to her. Chantal couldn't have been happier. They were married before the year was out. Chantal became pregnant by the time she was 21 and the couple had their first child Theodore, the love of Chantal's life. Now she had a career she loved, and a family she absolutely adored.
