The Character

Name: Jake Gobien

Job Title: Rogue Wizard

Personality: Gobien has a rough and ready manner, he is liable to stay in one aptitude for a very long time. He rarely smiles rather sneers, an unhappy fact as really he is a kind hearted though not quite gentle man, under the gruff rugid exterior. A born and practised liar Gobien would lie to his own mother, and did on countless occasions. One can never truly believe what Gobien says, though more often than not he actually does tell the truth. Gobien speaks in a rough half-french accent which he can easily disguise, in fact he barely knows his true accent now, so often does he change it.

Appearance: Dark and grim looking Gobien's eyes sparkle nonetheless showing his soul is not entirely evil, in fact it is hardly bad at all, circumstances have simply made him what he is.

History: A convincted felon Gobien served a short spell in Azkabhan, if you asked him he would describe in vivid detail how he so daringly escaped, disguising himself as a washerwoman, or other such ludicrous and fantastic tales, he was in fact released after serving his years spell for crossing the path of a most tyrannical witch; Ilyana Deitrich, he in fact double crossed her having once been her spie and almost trusted colleague. Gobien has french roots and spent several years as a Ministry official acting as a go-between for French and British relations, that was his guise whilst working resolutely for Deitrich, but once his use had run its course she disposed of him.

Now Gobien has a severely bruised ego and is out for revenge, thankfully his wits are still about him so he doesn't openly thwart the Ministry. Rather he bides his time until the opportune moment to strike down his worthy advesary. Staying hidden in the shadows Gobien patiently waits.

Anyways, I think we should find a way to organize the Rogue Wizards and kind of get some sort of organization going on. Mainly because it really sucks being a lone Rogue Wizard...I don't ahve rp'ing to do...lol.

Intro; this catalogues the known rogue wizards that I have incorporated into my posting, fellow Rogues can feel free to use them too, these are their mini character bios rather than making accounts for each.


Rogue Wizards and Witches

Danielle- Proud and straightbacked Danielle is graceful and elegant, seemingly not roguish at all. As such she tends to look down upon others; her pureblood background lends herself to that. She is rather snobbish at times and believes she is always right. She doesn't like to think she depends upon everyone, and won't accept that Gobien has in fact saved her a few times. Rathermore she'd brag about the time she saved him from a hippogriff.

Fiona- Fiesty red haired Fiona is small but plucky and recklessly courageous. She often appears eager for a fight and has even been in a tustle with George, one in which she came out the victor mind. She is quick and wily but lacks general common sense. She rarely thinks things through and acts impulsively. Without Gobien's restraining leadership she'd have fallen long ago.

George- A heavy, thick set man George will take advantage of any situation. He isn't too bright but he has a caniving mind. He cannot be trusted. George is a brutal figher using not only his weight but also quick spells to good effect to send foes reeling. He is unafraid to shed blood, some would even call him eager to. George is deeply suspicious of other creatures but loves the opposite sex with reckless abandon. Once his trust is gained he is an unshakeable ally and will defend those he fancies rather than actually loves.

Gloria- The Rogue's magnificent healer, Gobien often calls her Glorious Gloria, and indeed she is. One of the eldest Rogues she is still one of the healthiest. Her humour is quick and dry, she'll look on the bright side of any situation and is only ever sarcstically dark. A superb healer she is able to patch up many a rogues countless injuries.

Ricky- Gobien's right hand man, he is muscular and dependable in a fight, knowing old tricks of the trade to defeat his advesaries. He is skilful with both wandwork and throwing knives. A big black man 6ft1 at first glance he seems intimidating and can be when necessary, but really he is a gentle giant. He rarely shows much emotion and his courage is unshakeable. Ricky follows orders to the letter.

Relationship:Co-leaders/friends

Gobien is one of the few people whom Gabriella calls friend. They were some of the first Rogues to try and organize the ragged bunch and despite their earlier ambitions they have cooperated and become quite a team. Gabriella wouldn't go so far as to say she trusts him completely; but she's getting there.

Rp: Gabriella's always up for a little flirting with pretty much anyone. And rescue missions are always fun; working with one of the Roses would definitely be interesting for Gabriella as well

Colleagues/More than Acquaintance:
Having run into Gobien under strange circumstances, Addis and Gobien formed an unlikely alliance and soon it prospered into a generous relationship between the two. Though Addis resides in the castle much of the time and Gobien trudges around the forest, Addis would still do as asked, providing information to the Rogues in any means possible.

Addis provides Gobien and the Rogues with the food, information and facilities that he can provide, though the Ministry is clamping down on it all.

Addis trusts Gobien more than he would ever be willing to say, though the trust may not be double sided, Addis would do anything to help preserve the life of a fellow freedom fighter.
