It was probably just another usual day in Kims world to enter the forest and not feel threatened by its looming darkness. After all, all through her fifth year she had spent her most days in here, doing all kinds of things, but even past all that she felt somewhat comfortable in here and she couldnt fathom for a reason why. Kim put it down to her being used to it in here, others would put it down to her more arrogant side and love for anything remotely dangerous.
Things had calmed down at lot at the school, especially with the students who seemed not to care much for anything remotely dangerous anymore. She often found herself wondering where their sense of adventure had gone, but she supposed it was none of her business. She kept to herself and let them keep to themselves. Kim, these days, didnt bother anyone unless they bothered her. She wasnt much for socialising and usually ended up fiding her tongue biting at people these days, rather than speaking to them.
Everything seemed normal in the forest tonight. Well as normal as normal in the forest went anyway. The sounds of the wolves were definatly in the air, and the stench of them, always fully turned, was definatly striking her nose. She refused to believe what she knew was true and hated the feeling that she was even remotely... Similiar. Kim despised them, always had done. With good reason too, that only a few people knew of, and even now, she didnt speak to these people. Even after everything they all went through together... Fin, Jerred, Helia, Chase. The five of them, even though had their strifes were always around for one another if they needed them. Though it seemed these bonds of friendship had waned. Around Kim anyway, her complete attitude change had probably helped destroy this.
Being lost in her thoughts she hadnt noticed the unnatural fog that began to loom over her. What the... She thought as the grey mist settled around her. She narrowed her eyes trying to figure out who, or what which was more probable, was making this mist. The once calm feeling she had about the place soon turned to alertness. She had never experianced this and found herself in the thicket of it.
