Yesterday had been the day he had seen Maxi for the first time since they had both left Durmstrang at the end of their fourth year. It had been strange knowing Maxi wouldnt be going back there and knew straight off that it would be just wrong to be there without him. However, he had gone back to Durmstrang though things, as Mark as guessed, werent the same without his brown, now blonde, haired friend.
Yeah there were others in Mark and Maxi's little group but Mark and Max were the ringleaders of trouble for their year. He had given 'Stinker' enough grey hairs, and spent many nights in detention to realise this. Though when he had gone back, unlike usual, it had taken him two whole months to land himself in detention and even then the det wasnt that bad or fullfilling like usual. Mark had usually found himself in detention in the first few days of being back but without Maxi for some reason, he couldnt do it. Nobody had pushed him on like Maxi had done. Even Marks pranks werent giving him the satisfaction the same as when Max was helping him.
Mark knew Max was gay and yeah, he didnt have a problem with it, after all Max was Marks bussom bud, his best friend, his right hand man. Though Max had never had a boyfriend all their way through their years at Durmstrang, he had always preferred to play the field, and Mark had been looking forward to watching him break some hearts here too, but no. Mark comes here and what does he find? Instead of the wild rebelleous, flirtatious Maxi... A tamed, in love one. Mark felt as though he had been sucked through another dimension and fell into a very strange world. It was actually rather scary.
Night had fallen and Mark couldnt sleep. Deciding to take a tour of the castle at night he pulled on his clothes and instead of waking a snoring Maxi he ventured out alone. He didnt stay in the castle, the place was crawling with Professors and strange people who seemed, or so it seemed to Mark, that the professors didnt much like their presence. He had yet to find out who these people were.
The air outside was crisp and sharp, much like he expected it to be. He began to take the walk down to the lake when the trees caught his eyes. A forest? Mark didnt know there was a forest here. "Whats that about then?" he mumbled to himself drawing nearer. The trees were ominous, scary even. Mark shuddered but walked through them and into the surrounding darkness. "Creepy man" he said to himself again.

Night was the worst time for Girty, the common room was slowly emptying and the warm fire was slowly dying out. Many people had complained about Girty having the fire on stating that it was summer and it was not needed but she was cold and they knew that they could not mess with Girty. All she had to do was walk down the corridor and get the head of house on them, Dan would do anything for Girty. As the last rebellious first year left the comfy sofas and down the tunnel to their dorm Girty was alone. For a while she just sat in silence watching the last of the candles slowly burn out and slowly fill the common room in darkness.
Slowly she pushed herself up out of the chair and wondered to the portrait and pushed it open and slowly walked down the corridor, past the kitchen and into the entrance hall. She could turn left or right but she knew the way she was heading, she would be going into the forest and towards the normal clearing simply to stare at the burnt ground around the area Thom had died. Slipping out of the main doors the cool summer area hit Girty and sent a shiver down her spine. It seemed so cold and dark to Girty. Pulling her yellow and black scarf out of her bag she wrapped it around her neck and pulled her robes up tightly around her.
Her legs seemed to know the way, they led her along the gravel path and then down the grassy bank towards the black silhouettes of the start of the forest. A light breeze blew through the trees, the rustling of leaves travelled across the silent castle grounds and as it reached Girty her robes billowed around her ankles. But she walked slowly closer and closer not paying attention to what was around her, a troll could be following her and she would not know. It was then however she saw someone on the forest edge and curiosity took hold. Changing direction Girty slowly walked behind him.
“Oh yes very creepy. So much has happened in that forest, the trees have seen so much. I do not know what possessed the founders to build the castle by this forest but I think it was the only mistake they made.”

Now Mark, not one of your better ideas this now was it? He thought to himself as he dodged a couple of trees, but didnt see the root of one and caught his foot on it. Managing, somehow, to keep himself upright he rubbed the back of his head, "Wait a sec... Why am i rubbing my head, when it was my foot i hit?" he wondered curiously to himself, he also wondered why in all the wizarding worlds name did he have to ask himself questions he knew he wouldnt be able to answer, what was the point?
The trees seemed to loom down on him even watch him, "How rude, do you guys not know how to give privacy to someone?" he spoke to himself, a feat he often did when he found himself nervous or just when he was in a stupid mood, and tonights mood was definatly nervous, "Mark, trees dont watch, your talking to yourself, yes i know" He slapped a hand over his own mouth in an attempt to keep himself quiet. He had a strange feeling about this place and it didnt help if he kept talking to himself, it only made him more nervous. Though behind his hand, in his mouth, his teeth were chattering, and that was not out of being cold.
How much time had passed? In fact scrap that, where in the world was he? "Oh... Hell" Mark said, finally dropping his hand from his mouth, "I think somones lost" he sort of sang songed the word lost as if trying to taunt himself. "Did i come from that way?" He asked himself spinning around, "No it was that way" spinning around again, "Wait i recognise that tree! Mark of course you do they all look the same" Mark had to smile to himself, when in doubt, talk to yourself like a madman.
This night was certainly more trouble than Mark would have wanted on his second day. Maxi's voice popped into his head from their conversation the day before, You'd be late for your own funeral. Yeah he would be, if he was even found for his funeral. "Yep, definatly lost." He said to himself hoping there were no lovely nasties in this neck of the woods. Mark wasnt particulary good with dealing with new places, but being lost in a new place and trying to deal was completly a wet whistle. A lost cause.
He heard something and pun around so fast he tripped over backwards on another tree root. Surprisingly the same one as before. Idiot had been going in a circle. "Bloody hell! Where'd you come from!" Mark enquired as he sat in the mud, the girl had scared the living daylights out of him. He stood up and brushed himself down. "Yeah well the trees can keep their eyes, dont much like trees with eyes. I class that as plain weird" He slanted his head slightly at the comment made on the castle and shrugged, "Yeah well maybe. I dont know anything about the castle or this tree infested forest" He realised he was probably sounding like an idiot, especially with the last comment he made. Of course the place was tree infested. It was a forest!

Girty watched as the boy turned around and fell on the floor, his foot wrapped around a tree root. Shaking her head Girty held out her hand to help him back up onto his feet, but he seemed to be capable of getting up on his own two feet. Dropping her hand back to her side Girty looked at his now mud stained clothes, the house elves will hate him for that she would advice him never to enter the kitchen for a few weeks but from what he said Girty bet he did not have a clue where the kitchens where. In fact from his other comments Girty reckoned he did not know where the toilets where, let alone where he was now.
“Hum, personally I would worry about the other eyes that would be watching you now and not just the trees. I think you will be safe from the werewolves tonight and trolls do not venture this far to the edge. Although some thing strange has been happening in the forest, I would not be surprised to be stamped to death by centaurs or killed by a mad man.”
Girty gave him a small smile but was unsure if he could see it in the dark. Then she slowly took a few steps forward and as she passed him placed an encouraging hand on his shoulder and walked on. She pulled out her wand and a small beam of light erupted from the end and helped lead the way. After walking under a few low hanging branches and stepping over roots that were sticking out from the ground Girty looked over her shoulder and saw the boy still standing there. A small pang of pity hit Girty, he was most certainly lost and to leave him standing in the dark with thoughts of monsters and crazed men killing him would not be the nicest of things. With a sigh she walked a little closer towards the boy.
“Do you want me to show you the way out of the forest or as you clearly need to learn your way around you can come with me. It is up to you, either way if we stand here any longer we will become an easy target.”
Girty shot a nervous glance into the dark of the forest and lowered her light to the ground. Your eyes can play easy tricks on you in the dark and if Girty was not use to the forest then she would have sworn she saw something moving in the distance. Her hand tightened around her wand and took a deep breath waiting for the boy to give her an answer.

Fool Mark 1, Normal Mark 0
He had this annoying habit of seeming like a fool when in dark scary places alone, especially ones where he didnt have a clue to which was was left, and which one was right. Mark only noticed her outstretched hand when he had actually stood up, or else he would have happily taken it and would probably be thankful for the help too.
"Other.. Eyes?" He repeated. He had no reason before to be scared of this place, now she seemed to be reeling off reasons and to be honest, he wasnt exactly on his feet properly yet. He was sure one more word and the carpet.. Or mud as it was, would be pulled out from under his feet. Or it could be due to the extreame dizzyness he was experiencing right now. "Wait a mo! Werewolves? Trolls? Madmen!" Mark put a hand on his head, "Great so if my own stupidity fails to have me killed then all i need to worry about is Madmen, trolls and.. What was that? Death by centaur rampage? No ta, ill pass on that one but thank you for offering"
Marks head was now loudly fuzzing with things like, madmen, centaurs, werewolves and trolls. He had specifically asked for no nasties and what does he get? Four! Thats just their species number he wasnt including, or even thinking about the fact there was probably loads of each. He was not enjoying this.
He was glad of the escort out but, he did want to explore this place and besides, he knew his persistant nature would lead him back here and he knew it would be better if he knew he way around the place. "Well im here, i may as well carry on" He said, and besides, he couldnt help getting the feeling she was upset. And he didnt want to leave her here in a dark place on her own.
Mark took a deep breath and fell in line with her, looking forward through the trees in the place she was clearly heading. Though where exactly this place was. He didnt know. Preferably away from any nasties. Yeah, Mark liked that idea.

For once a smile spread across Girty’s face, it was something that has not happened in a long time. It was almost reassuring to see the Gryffindor being this scared, it made up for her lack of fear, which was something that she missed. The feeling that filled your stomach as you entered the dark of the forest, how as the air grew closer you actually feel like someone has there hands around your throat and how every movement makes you jump and then you get to laugh at your stupidity as you find out it was only a falling twig.
Raising her wand into the darkness Girty began to head forward along the path she had walked so often, looking down at the forest floor her past footsteps where still imprinted into the mud walking in both directions. It was how she knew she was walking in the right direction. After a minute of silence Girty thought she should break the ice with this lad, she did not even know his name.
“By the way I am Girty Hubbles. Proud Hufflepuff and active member inside the school. I am in the Quidditch team and I will be representing Hufflepuff in the upcoming Quadwizard Tournament. So if anything happens to me you will be getting the blame.”
Girt gave a soft laugh as she said the last part, the only problem was that with this guy in the state he was in it may not have been the best idea to be joking about being stuck down by a crazed monster. Girty wanted to tell him that being with her was not the safest of options, if they did happen to come across the centaurs then she would be running in the opposite direction hoping they did not notice it was her and started firing arrows.
The forest floor slowly began to raise upwards into a slight hill. Placing one foot in front of the other Girty could feel the strain in her legs, the burning sensation had already started. She knew hat it was, the lack of energy due to the fact she had not eaten or slept properly in three days.

Mark followed the girl through the forest, though every now and then he caught his eyes darting from left to right. What are you Mark? A man or a mouse? he asked himself in his head. Though the whistling through the trees made him jump and he automatically said, "Mouse" then looked at the girl and gave a weak sort of smile, "I uh... Saw a mouse, thought you should know... You know, some girls are scared of them..." Though Mark knew, his convinceiveness had failed him completly. "Didnt have no troublesome dark nasty forests at durmstrang. No siree. No forests there..." He thought to himself Just mountain giants and snow trolls... he shuddered at the thought of that memory and decided now was not the best time to be thinking of that.
Hubbles? Mark thought. He'd heard that name before.. Oh hell. Yes he remembered now. Theres a professor here called Hubbles too, one that he hadnt met but already had the liking of calling him Bubbles. Not to mention Maxi had told Mark that he was sure Bubbles had a nasty temper, though he hadnt seen it, which made Mark want to play lots of pranks on him. Of course, he wasnt going to voice anything to this girl. Was she his daughter? "Oh, Im Mark Alméida.. Guessing im a Gryffindor, im not an active member in the school nor am i on the Quidditch team" He said, realising he was completly the opposite of Girty, "Oh well gee aint that somethin'?" Mark said rolling his eyes though smiling at the same time.
Mark heard her small laugh, though it made him feel no better about the whole situation. Has Maxi been in here yet? Oh hang on, isnt this where he met that Centaur? Though that one seemed nice. Why would they try and kill the two of them now? Mark didnt understand and was pretty sure he didnt want to.

Girty raised her eyebrows at the thought of being scared of a mouse, this Gryffindor was very jumpy. Maybe taking him to the place where someone had died was not the best of ideas and then having to comfort her as there was no doubt she would break down in tears as soon as she saw the clearing and brunt ground. With a loud sniff and trying to shake off the tears that were already threatening to spill she turned around and looked at Mark.
“Well then Mark as a Gryffindor we can not have the other houses laughing at you as you were frightened of the forest when a Hufflepuff was more then keen to wonder through. Despite the fact that Hufflepuff’s are the bravest and the highest achievers in this school the prejudice against us is still strong. So if you want to gain a good reputation in this school then I advice you to follow me and do not worry some of the creatures as more scared of me then you are.”
Girty shot him a rather toothy grin and pointed her wand into the denser section of trees, there was movement in the distance and Girty could not help but grin even more. She was starting to feel that surge of fear of the unknown creeping over her again, the idea of stepping off the path grew even more tempting, to feel the cool night air rush against her face as she ran away fearing for her life. Biting her lower lip Girty walked towards the trees and flashed her wand around letting the light settle over the darker crevasses of the trees.
“Lets see how much of a Gryffindor you are.”
Girty pulled off her scarf and tied it around the tree she was standing by and pointing her wand at it the yellow and black colours began to flash letting off a small bit of light. With a small nod of satisfaction Girty turned to face Mark.
“You can turn back and follow my tracks from the many nights, or you can come with me deeper into the forest. If at any point either of us want to get out just look for the glowing scarf and it will lead you back to the path. We may find by the end of this you will be a lot braver then me, I have been known to turn and run away on many occasions.”

"Are Gryffindor's meant to be braver than Hufflepuffs or something?" He was totally clueless. Why hadnt he asked Maxi about all this yesterday? He was at a total loss with these houses, each house seemed to mean you had to do this, or do that. It wasnt simple here, it was at Durmstrang. Yeah you had your dorms but nothing seperated you from others and most often than not everyone got along. Though it seemed as though it was different here. Mark had a lot to learn. "Uh, Well you see im going to take your word on that one" He also didnt know who was the highest achiever so he supposed he had no other choice than to take her word on it. "Right well... Lead on" he said, not knowing where he was going really put him at a disadvantage.
Mark looked at the grin she gave him, and that worried him, the grin, worrysome. He looked to where she was pointing her wand and there was movement there. Mark's heart seemed to be caught in his throat and pounding tenfold. Though he tried to hide it, watching her as she walked closer, thinking she was crazier than Mark was and he wasnt even sure if that was humanly possible.
"How can I be much of a Gryffindor..." Mark began "...When i dont even know what it takes to be one! I only wear the badge, I didnt know it had some meaning!" Mark sighed and finished, "Yes im clueless..." Mark finally looked back up and carried on watching her, "It was so much easier back at Durmstrang" he added to himself.
He knew that one little sentance of hers was either going to mean trouble for him and he would regret coming in here. Scaryness for him and he would regret coming in here, either way he was bound to regret whatever took place from hereon in. The scarf she tied around the tree now flashed and Mark thought that was a neat little trick, though returning his attention to her he, for once, listened. Turn back, now that sounded like a good plan, a safe plan. Go deeper into the forest? Bad plan, dangerous plan. Though everyone, being here, would know which one Mark would choose, "Ill go with you" he said, feeling his stomach lurch as soon as the words left his mouth. Though, her last sentance, not so much of a confidence booster, "Oh well cheers, at least i get a heads up then" he tried to laugh, but it sounded more fake.

Girty blinked at Mark for a few moments realising that she really had got herself in it this time. He was looking to her to lead the way and protect them if they came across anything that would hurt them. With a deep breath and his rather forced laugh ringing in her ears Girty gave him a slight shrug and stepped into the depths of the forest and took a few steps further in, her wand held tight in her hand trying to make sure it did not shake to show that she was in fact more scared then she was acting. Her robes caught on the undergrowth and she had to give them a few sharp tugs to be free and able to walk on. Girty would give the occasionally glance over her shoulder to make sure Mark was still there. It was then when she noticed he did not have his wand out.
Spinning around on the spot she shone her wand straight in his face and took a deep breath to remain calm. She had been losing her temper easily recently and she knew now was not the best time to scream at him. Lowering her want slightly so that he could actually see so looked over him to try and see where his wand maybe. For one thing he had to have one no one was crazy enough to walk into a forest that was labelled as forbidden and drilled into everyone’s head that you could not enter.
“Mark. Just a small suggestion, you may want to draw your wand. Not only would another light be rather useful but if something does happen it would be nice to know that my back is being covered. I am sure they taught you magic in Durmstrang.”
She raised her eyebrows at him before breaking into a soft laugh. There was something about him that helped her forget the pain of Thom’s death, maybe it was his incompetence and the fact hat for once Girty had found someone that made her look like she was in control of the situation. Shaking her head still laughing Girty turned around and continued to walk through the forest making sure she did not trip up over the roots and other objects that lay on the forest floor. It was then she noticed the movement once again out the corner of her eyes. Pointing her wand into the darkness her hand began to shake and the light moved around making it hard to focus on what ever the creature was. Clenching her jaw Girty tried to will herself forward but something was stopping her from entering the darkness, she was scared.

Mark seemed to grow less scared by the minute. Things were getting somewhat relaxed at the moment, it didnt seem as anything nasty was going to jump out and attack them. Of course there was still time yet as it didnt seem the two would be heading back just yet, well he assumed not anyway, considering they hadnt seemed to be at their destination yet. Which surprisingly, now wasnt bothering him. The only thing that was, was her icy cool attitude that seemed to change at regular intervals.
"Whoa" Mark said as he watched the girl spin around and point the wand directly at his face, "Dont shoot" holding up his hands as if someone was stood infront of him pointing a gun to his chest. He relaxed when she lowered it, having a wand pointed in his face was not exactly a cause for celebration, especially when he didnt even know why she was doing it, though knowing Mark he had probably said something offensive earlier and she had only reacted on it now.
"Yes?" He said, about a mili-second after she said his name, still aware of the wand and though it was lowered, still had his eyes fixed upon it. "Oh, right. Yeah" he pulled out his wand from his pocket and said "Lumos" she was right, the added light did indeed help them, and yes, he supposed it would be a good feeling to know someone else has a wand and not just you. "Of course they did, they didnt exactly dress us in drag and teach us the hula ya' know"
Mark arched his eyebrows at her when she laughed, he didnt see how this was funny and Mark was usually all for fun and laughter, though there was nothing funny about being in here, he had realised this. Sometimes, Mark didnt know what he found more worrying, his own stupidness and love for trouble, or people laughing in a place you thought you might die. He started to walk again when she did, although this time he walked next to her and not behind her, the wood of his wand making him feel just a little bit more safe. Mark turned to the movement he had seen out of the corner of his eye, he looked at Girty who seemed to have frozen, and the movement was getting stronger and she seemed incapable of doing anything, stepping infront of her he held his wand tight, Your a man, your a man, your a mna, your not scared, yes i am, no your not thoughts ran through his head as he pointed his wand at the place the creature was, "Confringo!" He said as loud as he dared. A blast of orange light sped from his wand and collided with tree, causing an instant explosion and the tree to fall down and trap whatever it was underneath it. He turned to Girty and said, "Well my aim is clearly screwy since i was aiming for the creature"

Girty’s reassurance that he had now got his wand in his hand soon passed as she sent off a spell that crashed into a tree. Girty’s confused face turned around to face him, her mouth hanging slightly open as she wondered what on earth Mark of doing. Her mouth dropt even more when he said that he was aiming for the creature. Did he want them to get killed. Looking away form the Gryffindor and to the fallen tree and the trapped creature Girty raised her wand and shone the light in its direction.
“Well now we have destroyed a tree it will look rather bad if we have killed the poor creature. I think you should stay here before you do anything else.”
Taking a step forward her legs felt like lead and it seemed to take an age for her foot to reach the floor. Every step she took it slowly got better, her body getting use to the fear and the idea of moving towards it. Her heart was pounding at double its rate and as the claws of the creature shone off the light of the wand her heart rate increased even more. Her mind wondered from where she was putting her feet to if the creature was alive. Girty soon got her answer.
Her left foot came down upon a fallen branches from the tree and suddenly a loud crack sounded out as the branch broke. Already off balance it was Girty’s turn to fall on the floor as the trapped creature began to growl and scrap its claws on the forest floor. She let out a scream as she tumbled backwards began to push herself backwards to get space away from the creature.
“It is most definitely still alive and I think it is rather angry.”
Her voice wavered as she continued to slowly shuffle backwards. Splinters from the exploded tree dug into her hand but at that present moment in time she wanted to make sure she did not get any nasty cuts from the creatures claws. All she knew is that she wished she had paid more attention in Care of Magical Creatures or even Dan’s rambling about the animals he had seen on his travels. If Dan was here he would know what to do, but no he had to be inside the castle and Girty had to be stuck with a Gryffindor who did not know his way, was scared of mice and could not aim.

"Well excuse me for not wanting whatever the hell that is anywhere near me" Mark said in a sharp but soft tone. What was this girls problem anyway, at least Mark reacted to it which was more than what could be said for her, she just stood there frozen to the stop as if hoping for something or someone to come along and to help them, which was so obviously not going to happen. "What'dya mean killed the poor creature? I'd be more worried of it ripping us to shreds personally"
Mark couldnt believe her, of all the people he had come across in the forest it had to be someone who seemed not to want to live and who would rather let that damned creature live and let it munch on us. Mark couldnt understand her logic and he had his own whacked out sense of logic usually. Now what was she doing? Okay officially labelled as crazy Mark thought as she watched her walk towards it, not before saying, "Do anything else? At least i did something other than stand frozen to the spot! Im sorry if my nervous state and the fact i have this annoying habit of acting first then thinking later"
Mark heard the loud crack "Oh.. That cant be good" he said to himself as he watched. She fell to the floor and the creature, which Mark was now assuming to be a werewolf or something similiar to their usual nasty behaviour, both growled and clawed the dirt. Mark ran forward and picked her up so she was on her feet again, "Yeah, Its definatly alive, and i dont think its a happy bunny"
Mark watched as the thing tried to dig its way out from under the tree, he let go of Girty and flashed her an apologetic look, both for what he did, and what he was about to do. Pointing his wand once more he said "Petrificus Totalus" and the creaures body went stiff. "Well that should hold it for now, are you alright?"

Girty heard Mark shouting in the background and could not help but laugh to herself. She imagined he was thinking all sorts about her sanity but a part of her did not care anymore all she wanted to do was get up and walk away. Mark actually showed he had a few qualities of a gentleman and helped her onto her feet. With a small smile and a faint whisper saying she was fine Girty looked down at her hands, they were covered in mud which hid the cuts and splinters in them.
Gritting her teeth Girty looked up only to see a spell fly over her head and hit the creature. Turing around to look at Mark Girty had to once again try to reframe herself from shouting the forest down. There was no need to do anything the poor creature was already trapped, the only damage it could do was possible burst an eardrum or give you a nasty cut if you walked too close. Turning back to look at the creature in hope that it would help clam her down Girty knew that what she did next she would regret later. In order to get a better look at the creature she would need to move the tree, and she had a gut feeling what it was and if she was right (which did happen occasionally) she had the instinct to help. Shooting a glare at Mark Girty moved closer once again to the now frozen creature and aimed her wand at the fallen down tree.
“Get ready to run just in case your magic is not as strong as you think. But I am setting this poor thing free. Wingardium Leviosa”
The tree shuddered and slowly began to move upwards off the creature. The sound of the wood creaking surrounded the forest and as the huge tree truck rose into the air it brushed against the other trees. This spell was not really Girty’s strong point and lifting heavy objects tired her quickly and she found moving them difficult. Using all her focus the tree slowly moved along the creature but her strength was fading she was going to have the break the spell. With one last surge she tried to make it that the tree was clear of the creature but it would be no use. Lowering her wand the tree feel on the creature, she saw its body sag under the weight as she dropt to her knees as the energy seemed to have left her.

Mark heard her faint whisper of 'im fine' but didnt believe it. Before they had even got that far she seemed like she didnt have any energy and she seemed definatly on edge. But Mark reminded himself he didnt know her and she could be like that anyway, Mark's eyes glanced down to her mud stained hands but couldnt think of anything to help her.
Mark saw the glare from Girty and he just shrugged, he wasnt going to let himself be bothered by some females actions, Mark wasnt like that. "Well in case you, once again failed to notice, it was beginning to dig its way out" he stated simply. Mark still didnt know what her problem was, though she seemed to get hostile whenever Mark aimed his wand at the creature. She cant like these monsters can she? he thought to himself. How could you feel sorry for something that wouldnt hesistate to take a chomp out of you, especially one so dangerous as a werewolf bite.
"You lady, are completly off your trolly" Mark said waving his hands in exsaperation. "Poor thing? You talking about it as if its a fluffy puppy! Its a werewolf mate, a savage beast, a bloody known killer in case you didnt notice!" Mark gave out a frustrated cry kicked the floor.
At the sound of the tree rasing upwards Mark turned around and looked. He could tell it wasnt working, but he thought better to let her try than to have another glare off her. Serious if looks could kill he'd been dead twice, at least, by now. The spell failed. The tree fell onto the limpless body of the werewolf. He walked over to her and knelt in the mud beside her, he was already muddy due to his own fall earlier so he wasnt really that bothered by it. He looked at the tree and knew he could lift it a little ways, at least enough to get it off the werewolf, but he wouldnt do it. "Now try telling me your alright"
