The Roleplayer
Amy – 19 - England
The Character
Sheba Snow – 15/5th year – Half-blood – Sphinx heartstring
Personality
Sheba is, for the most part, harmonious. With a laid back sense of humour and down to earth ideas, she is one such person that the Hat surly had a hard time placing. Although by no means perfect Sheba is neither nasty nor nice, cunning nor clever – she just ‘is’. She exists in the middle of Hogwarts’s complicated social circles with little conflict, a chameleon fluidly changing from one thing to another to suit her friends’ needs. From a distance she could be taken as dispassionate and quiet, but like most people Sheba is merely thoughtful and content – always with just enough margin for error to have a giggle and loose her temper, of course.
Appearance
Locked in that dewy, porcelain charm that comes with her awkward age, Sheba is unconventionally pretty. With a peaceful round face, wispy ashen hair and frosted aqua eyes, she has a paleness that suits her well as a winter baby. Of course, she is naturally suspicious of her own looks and is fiercely undecided on whether she is attractive or not. Unfortunately for Sheba she appears slightly younger than she truly is, rendering her with a childlike etherealness that she secretly fears will follow her into adulthood.
History
Putting aside Sheba’s generally unremarkable childhood, one that consisted of being an only child growing up in the quiet locality of the Cotswolds, her memory swimming with the sound of farm animals and the scent of wood smoke, one adventure late in her eighth year is what probably led her father to believe she was a natural born Gryffindor. But it’s not something she likes to brag about.
