PERSONALITY
Toby is part of that supposed "popular" group of Gryffindor guys, who like to think they own the place. He plays a less boisterous role in the group, but is in no way in the background. He walks the castle with a confident ease that many girls find attractive and many guys admire. Problem is, he knows this and can often come off quite arrogant. A not so attractive trait.
Academically, to everyone else, Tobe seems to do annoyingly well for the effort he puts in. Truth is, though he will often be seen messing around with mates in and out of lessons, he will make sure he does well in his work and is lucky that understanding comes naturally and quite easily to him.
Toby has actually been in few relationships. He doesn't really do relationships. He would much rather just have a bit of fun with a girl, with none of the girlfriend/boyfriend strings attached. Him and his group of friends have lots of female fans, even some Slytherins (not that they admit it to the rest of their house). Basically so far in his school life, he's been a git when it comes to girls and has not treated them how he should. Perhaps this year there will be a special someone who makes him realise that he can't always get what he wants and finally make him grow up relationship wise.
All in all, though he has various negative traits on the outside, a lot of it is just for show. (Even if he doesn't realise it himself yet.) He's passionately loyal to his friends, and perhaps this year he will finally learn his lesson when it comes to arrogance and suchlike.
HISTORY
Brought up in a muggle household by both parents, though in his third year they separated. He has a younger sister, who he's fiercely protective of though let's her get on with her own thing at the same time. To some, it seems that she is the only girl he properly cares for. (Erm, shall add more later most likely. But for now, his history isn't really revelant to what I want to do.)
