The Character[/B]
Name: Fury Nightingale
Nicknames (if any): None
Age: 15
Year: 5
House: Hufflepuff
Blood: Pure
Wand: Chestnut wood, 14 inches, core of Acromantula blood.
Personality: She used to be the perfect Hufflepuff.
Fury is a beauty in the breakdown, if you dont mind the clichés. She is a troublemaker. She mouthes off to teachers, doesn't follow the rules, does drugs, doesn't take Slytherin crap if its thrown at her, and does a whole lot more terrible, terrible things. She is manipulative and seductive, morals seemed to have failed with her, or are buried too deep to reach her. If she wants something, she will use whoever she can to get it, not against using her looks in the least. Many people mistake her for a Slytherin, and she often thinks she'd do better in that house than any other. Fury does have her good points. She has the capability to love, be it in her own way. Though its almost impossible to gain her trust, she'll stick up for you once you have it, or if she likes you. When shes sober, and in a good mood, shes actually really nice. So long as you dont do something to her she wont like, she is alright with you. Fury hates the fact that the majority of her house are pansies, and is constantly trying to get them to toughen up.
Appearance: Standing around 5"7, Fury has the looks of a Slytherin. There is an almost animalistic gleam to her eyes, as if something so wild and threatening is behind them its hard to look at her. Her eyes are hazel, but they seem either catlike, or snakelike, having been described using both. She isn't a toothpick, she has muscle. With long, slightly curly/wavy brown hair, and olive skin, Fury relies alot on her appearance to get her what she wants.
History: Fury Nightingale was born to a family where women were treated like.. Crap, really. Her father was possessive, and when her mother died during childbirth, he turned it towards her. She was homeschooled in elementary school, wasn't allowed to see boys or even speak their name, had to keep skinny so she wouldn't get fat, and was required maintain a strict excellent average or he would beat her. All through this she was a good little girl, nice, bruised, pretty, and smart. It took a while for the headmaster to convince her father to let her go to Hogwarts, but he eventually caved, promising to visit more often than was neccessary for her health. The staff knew he wasn't a very nice person, and if he was seen on school grounds, they had to escort him off. Her father, furious at being refused to see his only daughter, kept trying to sneak in, stumbling into the forbidden forest and managing to get eaten. By this time, in her second year, the seeds of corruption had already been planted in her mind. His death might have freed her, but it didn't help her situation. He used to be her father, she couldn't help but love him despite his violent tendacies.
Fury began to mouth off teachers. Her grades slipped from excellent to barely-passing marks, soon dropping off the radar entirely. She fell into the wrong crowd, skipping school to meet up with them in the Shrieking Shack and get drunk or high. This changed her. Now in her fourth year, Fury is a completely different person, with no family or rules to follow. She likes it this way, if only because she has known nothing different.[/color]
