Briar jumped up off the tree stump and sighed, "Um... I think the school is back that way," she said pointing to her left. To be honest, she didn't know where she was anymore. She ran a hand through her hair and laughed, "Um... like I said, I think it's that way...."

"Okay...there are a few things I never want to hear in life and one of them is to hear the person I'm lost with that should know the directions to say 'I think it's that way'." Naruto whined exasperatedly. This could not be good. She just hated getting lost, almost as much as she hated being late. Sure she slept through most classes but hey, at least she was never usually late. Not that she had anywhere to be right then but being lost was not on her life's 'to do' list. "Let's try it and we'll see if it is the way." Naruto sighed in defeat. She really liked Briar, she was a good friend but she did not want to die in the forest of all places.

Bry glanced around the forest once more and spotted a familiar tree. "Actually, it's that way," she said pointing in the direction. "I remember that tree. It has this spot that looked like a dragon claw on it. I saw it on my way over here," she said with a reasuring smile, "I'm almost 100% positive on this."

Naruto looked at the tree apprehencively.
"Did you just say dragon?" Naruto asked warily. 'Okay, well, we best leave now then. I do NOT want to be eaten.' She thought to herself. "Okay let's go then I'm not really in the mood to die." She laughed hesitantly.

Briar laughed and shook her head, "I didn't mean a real dragon. Someone carved a dragon claw into the wood. And don't worry, we're not gonna die. I don't see that in the near future," she said grabbing the girls arm and pulling her in the direction. "But if you wanna be there before curfew, we gotta move," she said with a smile.

Naruto was a little wary about being touched and had to take deep breaths to calm herself down. She was not scared she just was not used to it. She finally calmed down when Briar had her arm for a while and had not harmed her and let herself give a relieved smile.
"Right." She murmured keeping up with the older girl as best she could.
(I did invite people but they never showed up. Feel free to invite anyone you want though. It would make things a bit more interesting with more people.)
