“Come on Alys, put the book down already! We’re all going out to the lawns, wouldn’t want to be left behind now would you?”
The boy held out his hand to snatch the book from her. Alys’s gaze flashed from the book she was reading up to the outstretched hand. With a small flick of her wrist, she smacked the book against his hand. He recoiled instantly, but a smirk was still found on the boy’s face. Why couldn’t he leave her alone huh? All she wanted to do was to be left in peace. But, it seemed like she was asking for too much. Folding the corner of the page, Alys slammed the book shut and looked back up to the boy. His grin only widened, like he thought he had finally broken her or something. Her lips stretched across her face, revealing a smirk of her own.
Alys stood, brushed off herself, and then looked back up at the boy. With a flick of her hand, she brushed some hair from her eyes, and her lips pursed into an amused smile. “How about you meet me out there? I just need to grab a few things.” Flutter the eyelashes a little, and pull out that innocent smile. The boy grinned and nodded, before disappearing out the common room door. Her smile twisted up to a smirk. He took it hook, line and sinker. Idiot. Men were so easy to fool, it was quite hilarious. But, at least he left her alone for now. He could come back to her broken hearted later, and she would make up some fake excuse. She started to feel ill, or the sun made her feel faint. He would take it, smile again, and pretend that the whole event didn’t happen.
One hand was placed on her slender hip, and she stared back at the door. What to do, what to do. The boy had already snapped her out of her reading mood, so now what was she supposed to do to entertain herself? Hmph, he owed her something. Alys drew her lips back over her teeth in somewhat of a grimace. Today was Saturday, meaning no classes. At least there she could entertain herself to some extent. Nobody was even in the common room, probably outside enjoying the June weather or something. With a sigh, the girl slid her hand off of her hip and pressed her fingers against the door to the common room. She pushed it open and walked out, and a rush of cold air greeted her. It was the dungeons after all, it should be cold.
She puffed out her cheeks in annoyance. No one out here either. Oh well, no use anyway. Wandering time! She shut the door quietly behind her and turned to walk further through the dungeon. Her wand was tucked safely in the pocket of her jeans. Long pants in summer? Crazy right? Well, for a girl who spent most of her time inside, it wasn’t really. As Alys walked, she traced her fingers gently against the stone. Something made her step falter though. A noise? Footsteps, that’s what it was. Instead of grimacing, curiosity flashed on her face. She stayed still, her fingers still pressed against the wall, just listening to the sound of approaching footsteps. Hmm, maybe she still could have some fun tonight.

[Eeee, Sorry for not replying & now that I have replied, not doing a particularly good post.]
Hide and Seek. Perhaps one of the best games ever invented for something so simple. As really, the name says it all - you hide and they seek. Tobe now insisted that no one had ever played a proper game of hide and seek until they played somewhere like Hogwarts. For any muggle, the castle would probably the produce the longest game in history. But with magic, you could let things get a little more interesting, as you are more likely to hide well if you get hexed everytime you're found, right?
Basically, Tobe and his friends outright cheated in Hide and Seek. Things would always start off in the usual muggle ways, but it wouldn't take more than ten minutes before searching and find spells were in common use and various ways of disguising attempted.
It was for this very game that Toby found himself hurrying along the dungeon passages on his own. He was grinning to himself like a fool, the usual childish anticipitation and excitement rising up in him. He kept glancing behind him every couple of seconds, making sure no one else had taken the same route as him.
The dungeons seemed to be deserted, though he couldn't see why anyone would want to be in them anyway, far too dark, cold and dreary for his liking. He supposed most people were taking advantage of the fantastic weather outside, which is why him and his friends decided to take advantage of a less busy castle.
He turned his attention back to where he was walking, and was just about to head around a corner when he heard a movement. He stopped. The movement stopped.
'Look, Hunt. If thats you, you big git, it has definately not been a minute yet and I don't care what-' He stopped mid sentence as he walked around to the corner to see not the 6 foot Gryffindor 'seeker' he had been expecting, but the rather more petite Slytherin, Alys Morach. He raised an eyebrow, a familar playful smile growing on his expression. Slytherins were always fun.
'All alone in the dungeons.' He looked at her appraisingly. 'Can't be up to anything good. And before you point out that I was alone in the dungeons too-' He smirked. 'I'm never up to anything good.'
The two of them can't have spoken much more than two words over the sixth years they had both been at the school. Tobe of course knew of her, as you pretty much learn the name of everyone in your year. Unlike a lot of the Slytherins though, this one seemed to keep herself to herself, and didn't throw insults around every second to house rivals. It was for this observation, that Tobe had chosen an unusually tactful approach for a Slytherin.

(( Meh, don't worry about it. It's fine Gail xD ))
A few sinarios began to form in her mind as she sat there, hand pressed against the wall and waiting for whoever it was to show themselves. The person could be that boy she sent off, which would not be good for her because she was supposed to be looking for a book or something. It could also be another Slytherin, on their way to the common room. That was her most hopeful one, because then she could just be on her way. The last one was that someone had ultimately wandered down here, and would then begin to bug her as everyone loved to. Oh joy.
“ 'Look, Hunt. If thats you, you big git, it has definately not been a minute yet and I don't care what- [/b]” Alys had to bite back a groan as she spun around on her heels, only to see Toby Moran turn the corner and face her. Well this was just great wasn’t it? Her luck was seriously wicked, no doubt about that. Either that, or fate hated her. “ I don’t know if you’ve had your vision checked lately Moran, but I do believe I don’t look anything like your big burly friends.” Merlin, she shuddered at the thought of it. Those men were too…beastly for their own good. From what she had heard from the gossip of the common room – because honestly a person could get an earful in there – Toby Moran was usually mean, rude, jerkish, and whatever else he could be to most Slytherins. Something about a house rivalry probably, but it wasn’t like she actually cared enough about it to look into it. Honestly, Alys had never thought that she would run into him. And now here she was, standing with a hand on her hip staring at the smirking Gryffindor. He didn’t seem like he wanted to attack her or anything of the sort yet. But she kept her hand near her wand, just in case. Alys brushed some hair from her eyes and raised an eyebrow at the haughty boy. If he hadn’t left already, that usually meant that he wasn’t going to leave anytime soon. Sigh. Well, being civil wouldn’t kill her, plus it would probably help her avoid a fight of any sort. Like she needed any more commotion in her life, please. “ I’m afraid to ask, but my curiosity seems to be winning.” She arched one eyebrow accusingly, and her mouth turned up ever so slightly. “ What’re you up to Moran?” Since the first day she met him he was always up to something. Their first meeting seemed semi-ironic, because they were placed one in front of the other at a sorting ceremony. Morach and Moran. Of course, Alys had gone off to Slytherin and Toby to Gryffindor, which was what made the situation ironic, and they never really spoke again. That was probably mostly Alys’s fault, because she chose not to talk most of the time. It was easier that way instead of getting loads of attention. Honestly, she didn’t need that. And now here they were again talking, albeit awkwardly, but still talking. [/font][/blockquote]
