(Forest) Yet Another Funless Person

To everyone that knew Rieko, she was a stubborn girl, very set in her ways and what she believed in, her beliefs didnt wander. She was also very outspoken, which many didnt like about her and less envied about her. A lot of people say that Rieko was just another girl who liked to put people down. Though that wasnt really who she was, yes, she was stubborn and yes she was outspoken. Though she ever only spoke the truth, or what she thought about something or someone, it wasnt her fault if the people listening didnt like it. She was never one to hide what she thought, and she never would do.

Rieko was a strong willed person, if there was something she wanted, she would have it, she never stopped until she got it. She also wasnt one to tolerate idiots, usually. She didnt much like weak people either, which was why she was staying away from that lovesick cousin of hers. She did feel kind of sorry for him, but it was his own fault which she had told him more than once, and he didnt like that truth either, though he shortly admitted it was his fault and when Rieko asked him what he was going to do about it, his answer was, 'I dont know.'

More fool him then. Its not like its my problem anyway so good luck to him

She walked over tree root and mud puddles. Not really paying much attention to where she was going, and although the forest was looming and very dark, it was comforting to her to her too. Or maybe that was the animal instinct on her part? She didnt know really. Either way, she knew, being this close to ministry officials, she had to be careful who found out about her animalistic side. She was an unregistered Animagus and that could prove problematic.

A small giggle escaped her as she thought about this. Though didnt carry on with the thought as she knew it would be pointless, not to mention dangerous. She slid down a tree and sat on a root, fun was not something easily found in this place, these days. Rieko was feeling slightly stressed because of it and wanted the place to liven up a little!

Lara had mostly forgotten to go to her potions lesson. There was a twinge in the back of her mind telling her that she had missed something, but knowing it was probably a class, she didn't think about it much. However, she couldn't think of anything to do to get her mind off of not thinking. She had wandered through the corridors close to the Gryffindor tower, counting the stones in the floor as she stepped on them. She had gotten up to one-hundred-and sixty-three before she lost count.

Now she had somehow found her way outside. She couldn't really remember how she had gotten there, but there she was, and she just tripped over a stone, her lavender ballerina flat not giving her toes much protection. She looked up into the sky and notice a large cloud. Following it with her eyes, Lara didn't realize that she was headed for the Forbidden Forest. It wasn't like she was scared to go in the forest. She had been in there more than twice!

She followed the cloud, turning around and walking backwards as it drifted behind her. However, she continued on her straight path. The leaves crunched under her feet and she lost sight of the cloud as it disappear behind on of the tall towers of the castle. Lara turned to continue walking and not thinking, and as she turned, she tripped over what she thought was a root. Lara landed in the lap of one of her fellow house mates. "Hello!" she said cheerily, not at all in a hurry to get up.

She had found a place she could escape to, a place where it seemed quiet, though the trees not huddled that closely together in this part so she could also see the sky. She didnt know how long she sat there, gazing upto the sky above her. Rieko also was meant to be having a potions lesson, but didnt really want to deal with Vance today, he was enough to put a damper on anyone.

She didnt mind being in here, her keen sense of smell and eyesight were enough to be able to make sure she didnt come to any real trouble. She sighed as the breeze made her hair flow and closed her eyes, listening to the rustle of the leaves above and around her. She did not know how long she sat there, but before she knew what was going on, a weight fell on her lap, making her go "Oof!" and look at the person who had fallen on her. "Uh" Rieko said, she did not much like clumsiness, she found it a weakness and she had no tolerance for weakness. Even the cheery smile this girl gave her would have usually been enough to make her snap, however she was at a total loss. She had been caught completely by surprise and it baffled her.

"Uhm" she said again, her eyes full of shock as she looked upon another gryffindor, "Hello... I think" she murmered, "Would you mind?" she indicated getting off her lap, her left ankle was digging painfully into the tree root beneath her, causing her a lot of discomfort.

Lara brushed the long blonde hair that had fallen over her face behind her ears and smiled at the person whose lap she was sitting in. It didn't occur to her to get up immediately after falling into or on top of the girl. It was as much of a surprise that she had fallen as it was to the girl she was sitting on.

"Oh, Ok!" Lara said cheerfully as she tried to get up. She fumbled once on a root and plopped back down, but the second times was the charm and she got up, brushing the dirt on her legs off. She smiled again at the girl.

"Hey, aren't you in my potions class?" Lara said after an awkward silence in which she studied the face of the girl trying to figure out if she knew her. POTIONS! Darn it! Lara thought. She had remembered where she was supposed to be, and now she felt guilty! She let out an audible groan. "Do you know the time?" she asked absent minded-ly. Maybe it would be so late it wouldn't matter if she showed up now or not. she hoped it was too late. Otherwise, her conscious, as slow as it was, might start to get at her.
