Personality:
Leo is quiet and reserved, rather into his studies. He doesnt socialise much, he leaves that to his rather estranged best friend Gray. When you first meet Leo, especially if you meet him at the same time as Gray, you would probably overlook him as Gray tends to stand more in the light than Leo does. Though this doesnt make him any less interesting.
He's more of a quiet laid back, but loyal and caring kind of person. He looks out for those who mean a lot to him. His friendship circle is a little lacking in the people department due to his annoying habit of not socialising much unless its about work or something. Leo rarely talks about himself, and he never talks about how he feels, least not in depth. He likes to keep himself to himself and believes he'd be safer doing that.
When he's back home in the Muggle World, because of his blood having a Wizard gene in it, he feels really alienated from everyone else, including his family now. He is scared in a way that if anybody else found out about him, he would be treated like an alien. Though, with the help of the Slytherins mainly, he also feels like this in the Wizarding world because of his Muggleblood. In a way he feels as though he doesnt belong in either world anymore and thus his feeling of insecurity and alienation. Sometimes, Leo doesnt know up from down.
Appearance:
He has dark brown hair thats quite short, though long enough to run your fingers through. His eyes are a very light shade of brown, not quite hazel but not brown. A sort of amber colour, which if he could see his aura, he was sure would be the colour of it. He stands at around 5'11, which gives him an advantage over most people as he is just short of 6'ft. Though he's tall, he doesnt let attention get drawn to him easily, though sometimes it does, usually when he's with Gray. Leo has fairly bronzed skin though not going over the top with it. He weighs around 10/11 stone and has a good few muscles on him.
History:
Born to Reks and Lillia Ryder, he was raised in a Muggle world. All their family had no clue about the Wizarding World except from Fairytales where wizards wore robes with five pointed stars on and all looked like Merlin. Witches, Leo always was lead to believe were short and plump with tinged green skin and boils, cackling over their cauldrons and rosting toads legs. Though this isnt the case as we all know.
They were a normal family, average. Living in a four bedroomed semi detatch in their small little village. His father was a banker and his mother was a midwife. Leo and his sister Jessie were always the kids their parents were proud of. They did normal things as a family, going on non wizard holidays and enjoying the sun. Christmas was Leo's favourite time of year with the family, and they were all very close.
Though when Leo got his letter about Hogwarts, things soon changed. His mother and father were gobsmacked and Jessie didnt know what to do. Leo was half scared he would get boils and used to check every day in the mirror for signs of abnormality. Though they never came. He even half thought about it as a joke, though knew in his heart of hearts it was true. Leo must have been the only kid that was not looking forward to going to Hogwarts.
During the summer, before Leo went he met Gray. The two of them just being kids had a laugh but Leo always kept himself reserved, never really talked to Gray about things he was going through as he didnt want Gray to think he was a freak. His family accepted it and his sister soon found it cool and wanted to go herself, but Leo never did accept it, nor did he find it cool. He felt like a freak and in this, came his insecurities and feelings of alienation when he distanced himself from everyone.
A few years went by and nothing changed in Leo, he still felt alienated from everyone, Wizards, Muggles, even his cat. He gets by and does things the way he should without question but never once has he spoken about how he feels for any of this. This whole new world opened upto him and he never quite saw the beauty in it. He was surprised though, on his first day, seeing Gray there. Least he knew one person if nothing else.
Now he's in his sixth year and his feelings about this new world still hasnt changed. He is sort of resentful that this world was opened upto him, he was happy being normal, something he knows he can never go back to. This is in his blood and in his memory and even if he gave it all up after Graduation next year, he would constantly think about it. His feelings may change one day, but for now they are set in stone, unfortunatly.

The Life Relations of Leo Ryder!
Its most likely that some of these Relationships will change, like most and real life relationships. Not everything lasts forever but some do. Some will be on here for a long time, some may vanish, others may be a passing fancy and never make it onto or into Leo's life. Though it doesnt matter how long your in Leo's life for, no matter whether you're friend or foe, you will have made some form of change in Leo's life.
Life is too short, Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laugh when you can, apologize when you should and let go of what you cant change. Love deeply and Forgive quickly. Take chances, Give everything and have no regrets. Life is too short to be unhappy, You have to take the good with the bad. Smile when your sad, Love what you've got and always remember what you had. Always forgive but never forget, Learn from your mistakes but never regret. People change and things go wrong But always remember..

These people will be here for one reason or another. But whatever that reason is, they are the ones that have touched Leo's life, whether it be good or bad, both of these surprisingly go hand in hand with eachother. Both the good and the bad side of relationships are the things that will help Leo grow as a person. Without these people Leo would probably be a walking talking shell of someone he could be. Though things happen for a reason in life, and these people who are in Leo's chart are here for a reason. Though what will unfold between them, only time will tell...

Gray has known Leo since two months before the start of school in the first year. It had taken a lot of time for Gray to get Leo's trust but after he did, they became solid friends. It was no secret, Gray and Leo were on the complete opposite ends of the podium being two completley different people they needed a third person to keep their little friendship together. This is where Isabel came in.
Because the fact Gray and Leo were two totally different people. Leo was quiet and into his studies, and Gray was loud and in your face, a rulebreaker. In their second year they met Isabel Valenti. She was neither quiet but nor loud so she could easily see the two sides. One would say she was the glue in Leo and Gray's friendship.
