(The thread is open but i want someone who i havnt rped with before, or only RPed with briefly, tah)
Maxi Hennerdale, gay boy of sixteen years old, Gryffindor Prefect, in love with a boy, soft hearted and kind to people.
Dark forest, creepy sounds, scared heart, dank, damp and muddy.
No difference.
Being a prefect was not all it was cracked up to be, and definatly not what Max had invisioned. He spent all his time now, trying to make a good example which he often found hard as his best friend was a prone trouble maker. Though thankfully, Max had not yet had to throw this guy into any form of detention, though he was sure if he had to, Mark would probably love it anyway. Maxi had to now, spend a lot of time at night patrolling and not sleeping. It was tiresome but he knew in the end it would be fully worth his toil.
The night started off quite well if he was honest. For an hour he patrolled the corridors and didnt find anyone out, other than that of the other prefects. Which Maxi didnt mind, a quick nod to them and they were off again. Then Maxi went outside to make sure there were no people outside, and the only ones he found were professors and ghosts. Again, it seemed as though the night was going to go well.
That was before he found himself in the forest, and for the life of him he couldnt remember how he had come to be in here. For the life of him, he did not know where he was. Though this didnt trouble him, he had been in darker and scarier places than this, both him and Mark had. Fooling around with werewolves and any creature deemed as dangerous up in Durmstrang, though it had once gone bad and Maxi tried not to think about this.
Maxi walked, and kept walking. Trying to avoid the many mud puddles that were around because of yesterdays rain. Though he did find himself once or twice stepping in one and getting mud all over him. Great he thought as he did it again. I like these shoes too.

Jac had not seen her bed that night and she wasn't planning on doing so either. She had seen her brother and once again she was in the forest to try and do some of the things her brother claimed to have done while he was at Hogwarts. She had befriended a centaur, battled with an ugly evil witch, gotten permanent damage to her upper thigh, and lived to tell the tale, one which her brother didn't believe of course, not even after seeing the huge mess of a scar that not even Otis could remove. It had shaken Jac to the bone but there she was, once again on the search for adventure.
She had found it, of course, or it had found her? Jac couldn't tell. She had stumbled, covered in mud, into a clearing where the crescent moon shone around. Jac's midnight blue glossy hair shone in the moon light and on the smooth, sleek creatures that stood before her. Jac stopped where she was when intelligent, hollow, shining white eyes turn on her. She had seen these creatures only once before and wondered if they would remember her. She knew that they were incredible clever creatures but she had had blood on her that night and was clean now.
Jac took a few steps forwards, holding out her hand. The tall creature bowed it's head towards her hand and it's nostrils flared as it smelled her. Jac lifted her other hand and began to stroke it's strongly boned head. " 'ello there," she said softly, "aren't you a beauty." She was doing it again, she realised, talking to animals but this didn't bother her in the slightest.

Maxi walked for what seemed like an age. Everything about this place looked exactly the same and he couldnt tell if he'd already passed that tree or not. To the creatures of the forest, everything would look differently he was almost sure of that, but to Max, it all looked the same. Sighing as he tried to avoid more mud puddles. though swearing loudly when he realised it wasnt possible.
Adventure, Maxi used to swear by that word. Adventure and trouble causing was definatly something Max loved to do. Or used to before he got all settled down and became a prefect. Now he just looked upon it lightly and took it for granted. Though Maxi did miss the old times when it used to be just him and Mark and part of him would give anything to go back.
Maxi didnt know where he was going or for what reason and to what intents or purposes. Though he just followed his feet hoping that he would either find a way out, or find someone who knew the way out. Max sighed as he realised this probably wouldnt happen and the thought that he would be spending an eternaty in the forest kind of scared him. When he came out of his thoughts he found himself in a clearing, looking directly at a girl who was stroking some creatures. "You do know they wont answer you dont you?"

Jac had heard someone coming so when a voice was heard floating in on the air, she did not jump as she might have otherwise done. Here, in the forest, she was constantly alert and awake, wary of every crunch of a branch and of every rustle of a leaf. She had learned the hard way that being caught up in only one thing in this forest could cost lives. She had learned that the hard way. She didn't turn to see who had come, not at first; she simply stood with her back towards him, stroking the creature with care.
Eventually, Jac dropped her arms to her sides and she turned slowly as not to startle the thestrals. She fixed dark eyes on the familiar face with a smile tugging at the one corner of her mouth. Relaxing ever so slightly, Jac looked back to the thestral and nodded. "Yeah," she said slowly, "I know but that -" she quickly turned back to Maxi and said, frowning, "wait, you can see them?" She asked, astonished. It was a surprise that someone else could, but Jac assured herself that she should be so surprised, this was Hogwarts after all.
Jac looked enquiringly at Maxi. These two students, though not particularly close, had shared some interesting evenings together. Him being a prefect and all led to much score being broken on him from Jac. She had always scoffed at prefects, even when she was in her first year, but she knew that Maxi didn’t know that. She was certain that he felt it was some sort of special treatment for him and she wasn’t about to contradict that. “Who’d you see kick the bucket?” she asked, truly interested now, though she could almost have been said to have sounded doubtful of him ever seeing anyone die.

Maxi folded his arms as he looked at the back of Jac's head. He wasnt surprised he had come across her in fact, he would have been more surprised if he hadnt. Jac had this nack of being where she shouldnt, when she shouldnt and she did give Maxi a run for his money that was almost definate. Though, they too did have their laughs sometimes. He looked at the Thestrals behind her and grimaced, he knew it was not good to be able to see them.
Maxi watched as she turned to him, "As clear as day" he said when she asked if he could see them. He wasnt exactly happy at being able to see these things, in fact it brought back memories in which he did not want to have, memories both him and Mark shared but never spoke about, not even to each other.
"Does it matter who i saw die?" He asked as he stood on the boarder of the clearing looking at her inquiringly. He didnt bother to tell her that she was out past curfew, he knew she knew that. Nor did he want to take points off his own house either, not when they were in the lead. Call it favouritism, he knew it was.

Jac shrugged and turned back to the magnificent creature before her. It pawed the ground and snorted persistently. Jac brushed her midnight black hair out of her face and nodded, understanding. She began to feel in her pockets, patting them down and finding that she didn't have anything in them. Giving the thestral an apologetic look before turning back to the guys who joined her and smiled at him.
"Got any meat on you?" she asked hopefully. Then she burst into a fit of giggles before adding, "I guess not. I wasn't prepared for this one tonight. It's not something everyone carries around with em, is it?" She looked back to the tall creature, with a sorry smile. "Sorry bout this, dear chap," she said, "I don't have anything for you today." The creature seemed to understand in a sort of funny way and lost interest in Jac.
As the thestral wondered off, Jac turned back to the guy who had come across her. "So," she said, walking towards him, "I'm Jac. What you doing out so late?" She held out her hand and added a big smile. Though the moon was a mere sliver in the sky, it shone brightly and there was lots of light being thrown on them.
