Felicity wiped her forehead and gripped her wand tighter. Her breathing was slightly ragged as she stood there in the forest, her wand ready. Normally, Fay only came out to the forest maybe once a month, just to practice a few things. But her visits had become more and more frequent lately.
Something was up that the school wasn't telling them. She could feel it. Most likely her suspicion started when she met Professor Everritt in the forest. That's what made her join the guild as well.
Another spell shot from her wand and hit a nearby tree. Several of the branches were knocked off, and a small grin flashed across her face. Her aim was getting better.
A small crack was heard, and she flicked her head in that direction. Felicity, as silent as ever, moved to hide behind one of the trees. She pressed her back up against the trunk and tilted her head slightly so she could see at least a bit of the oncoming person. Her breathing slowed until she barely made a sound. Not like she had ever snuck out and hid somewhere before.

A twig just had to snap didn't it? It was always the way, when he needed to be stealthy he'd instead become clumsy, Catt would have walloped him around the ears for that blunder. He'd taken his eyes on the prize rather than keeping to how to get there. It could happen easily enough though, but such mistakes could cost very dearly, even costing someone their life, so Boggleworth naturally kicked himself.
He'd heard sounds of trees being literally splintered, if not shattered entirely, clearly such a noise attracted attention, and Boggleworth thought it best to find out who was making the disturbance, then he could report back, but he wouldn't make contact, no hopefully not.
He was in the forest to parlay with the centaurs, a preliminary talk with them, once he'd heard tell of a friendly centaur who had actually conversed openly with humans, he'd hoped he'd strike lucky in finding him. But it seemed he'd disappeared, and his search had been in vain. Now he was backtracking, on his way back to Hogsmeade his new base of operations, then he'd heard the noises and his curiousity had gotten the better of him. Eyes roving all about Boggleworth hand dipped into his robes, ready to bring out his wand if necessary, but he didn't want to have to use it. Carefully now he crept from tree to tree, particularly careful of stray roots and fallen twigs which would crunch, or worse, snap underfoot.
Darting to another tree, Boggleworth peered about it, seeing devastation of torn and destroyed trees about him, either someone had a bad aim and kept hitting trees rather than their foe, or they were target practising and getting it right; either way he didn't like it. Edging around the tree trunk he didn't know he'd soon bump right into the culrpit...

Felicity remained perfectly silent, barely allowing herself to so much as twitch. Leaves rustled as the person moved, and Fay's grip on her wand only tightened. She ran through the disarming hexes in her mind, so she wouldn't be unprepared.
Fay turned slightly to see where the sneaker was, but she didn't see anyone. Puzzled, she leaned a little farther out, looking around again. Just as she leaned forward, someone bumped into her side. Felicity flew forward and didn't have enough time to brace herself for impact. She fell on her side and winced as several twigs scratched against her arm.
Felicity scrambled up and held her wand out. "Alright, who's there?" She looked behind the tree and nearly dropped her wand in shock. It was him. That Boggleworth man. Her wand did not lower though. "What are you doing here Mr. Boggleworth?" She made sure her voice wasn't icy, and tried to keep it as light as possible. If worse came to worse, she could laways just use her charm. But that was only in dire need.

Moving cautiously around the tree, Boggleworth's eyes darted all about, searching for whoever was out there, unluckily his shoulders found them first. "Woah," he cried nearly toppling over with the girl. Just keeping his feet, he straightened quickly looking down at...the girl from the guild. The one who had seemingly taken an instant dislike to him. "Sorry about that, I get nervy whenever I'm in here," he meant the forest with all strings, of varying creatures, attached. He'd gone to help her regain her feet but she was up as quick as a flash her wand poised upon him. He was impressed with her lightning sharp reflexes. He didn't go for his own wand, it would have been foolish; only increasing the tension between them. if she was going to take him down then she probably would easily enough. "You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you." He answered with a grin, "but I'll tell you anyway," he continued hurriedly believing she had a short spark. "I've come to parlay with the centaurs, to see if the Roses can depend upon their support against the Ministry."
Eyes twinkling he added, "feel free to tell the guild that, they can probably use the information somehow, Girty knows what she's doing with it, I've got to hand it to her, it's far better organised than in my day. Which wasn't that long ago." He hastened to add, he didn't like thinking he was an adult really, with that came responsibility, he prefered to shirk it.
"Now what are you doing here then? Practising or actually fighting someone?" He asked with a light smile, hands just at his sides, he meant her no threat, the sooner she realised that the better. They'd got off on the wrong foot really, he hoped that would change but he wouldn't count on it.

Felicity lowered her wand after he was finished speaking. He didn't seem like a threat, at the moment. But, if worse came to worse, she wouldn't need a wand to beat him. Fay pushed back some of her hair and glanced over to the tree she had pretty much mangled. "Target practice."
Centaurs? They weren't really keen on speaking with witches and wizards as far as she knew. "What does the League want with the centaurs? Surely they shouldn't drag more creatures into this mess." Felicity had a certain soft spot for mythical creatures. But, that was kind of a given for her.
"Now I'm curious to know, sir. Why did you come back to the school? The League aside, did you have other motives? Because I can't say I really trust you at the moment. Ask my friends, my trust is very hard to gain sir." Felicity placed one hand on her hip, and looked back at the man's face. She would know if he was lying, she could tell it on most people. Maybe that was because she was such a good liar herself.

He'd never liked having a wand pointed threateningly at him, as it happened far too often, even at school it had, so he was glad when she lowered it and smiled in thanks. "You won't be needing much more then," he commented admiringly looking at the trees, it didn't look like that many shots had gone wide, but how'd she fare against a moving target able to defend themselves, that was the question, and that was when fear, adrenaline and even forces of nature came into play, but most importantly luck. Boggleworth had nearly always escaped from scraps from sheer luck, mingled with a little quick mindedness.
Looking sorrowfully at the girl he answered with a grim look, "they're already a part of the mess, that's the problem, the Ministry are doing like they did before; encroaching on their lands, obviously they don't like it, and there have been reports of skirmishes between men and centaurs. Whether they're Rogues or Ministry we don't know." He shrugged it was unlikely they'd ever know for certain.
"You know you needn't call me sir, it's flattering, but Bog will do nicely." He grinned but instantly soured when she asked about his motives; she really was mistrusting. "I'm not surprised you don't trust me really," he shrugged, "eventually I hope to win your trust though, I know it's just gonna take a while." Chuckling he added speaking from the heart, "but you're spot on, I do have another motive; just one. I've come back for love, as hard as you may find that to believe." He laughed, "I went for the love of my life, now I've come back for her too." He'd gone to help protect and establish their future, now he was back to start their future. His eyes took a vacant far off expression momentarily, if she'd tried anything then he'd have been at her mercy. Coming out of his reverie, from which he'd seen Grace clearer than the girl before him he asked, "So what do you make of that?"

Felicity grinned at the trees for a moment. She thought she did pretty well atleast. Her gaze turned back to the man after a moment, small grin still in place.
"I knew it was getting bad, but that? Horrid, wretched, vile..." Felicity was near seething, her hands clenched into fists. How could someone be so heartless? Her eyes were ablze as she glared out at the forest. "We shouldn't have the power to control everything. There should be balance." Fay took a breathe, then released it slowly. It helped to calm her. "Creatures should be able to choose their own fate." Felicity let herself calm down, then addressed the man again.
"Bog? Alright then. You can call me Fay." A grin was back in place. "Felicity Locke is the name. You might've heard of my mother. She gets quite a reputation in the wizarding world." Felicity rolled her eyes, not exactly loving her mother's antics.
"I've been left too many times to count Bog. So I hope you can understand why my trust is hard to gain." Her gaze hardened ever so slightly as she held her emotions back. But, she softened once more once she heard his story. Felicity giggled for a moment. "What a way to win a girl's heart. You sound like a knight coming to swipe said lady off of her feet." Fay sighed, a sad grin crossing her features. "If only, if only right?"
