The Character:
Name: Edward Niven
Age & Year:16, 6th
Blood: Pureblood
Wand: 10" Mahogany; embedded with Hippocampus scale.
Personality: Edward often finds himself isolated from most of the student body at Hogwarts. Though, his lonesome tendencies are not due to his cold personality. Instead, he has not found anyone he can relate to and therefore most of his experiences at the castle leave him bored.
Because he is usually alone in the first place, he is seen as unapproachable and strange - something unnatural even in a place like Hogwarts. Anyone who does approach him finds he is not particularly friendly, but civil enough. However, they also find that they never do approach him again.
Appearance: Brown hair with a penetrating and cynical gaze. He is also very tall and because he spends almost all his time inside, his skin is an unhealthy pale colour.
History: Edward lives with his half-sister, who graduated from Hogwarts years ago, and Uncle. Both his parents are long gone, either dead or alive, but forgotten.
Incredibly fond of his studious uncle, when Edward is not brooding or scowling at an interruption, he spends his time exchanging letters with his only family.[/i][/font]
