Personality: Shabnam, on first impressions, can be a little bizarre to some people. She generally appears to have her head in the clouds, her mind always on something that is seemingly completely unimportant or ambiguous, and she rarely takes into consideration that saying her strange thoughts out loud might weird others out. She takes interest in the most unusual things and notices a lot of what other people may overlook, but while she may seem very observant Shabnam has a tendency to miss the bigger, more urgent things – consequently she can appear both sharp and dim at the same time.

Despite her trouble with paying attention and moments of randomness, Shabnam is generally very warm and likeable, often described by those who know her as softly compassionate and enthusiastic. Unlike a lot of people she is very open about herself even to strangers, and will happily describe to anyone her interests and thoughts. When dealing with others she can be oblivious towards their unhappiness or problems, yet always seems to react positively to bad news – not to try and lighten the situation, but because she doesn’t want to offend, always assuming it is obviously her fault if someone is telling her about it.

The Owl and the Pussycat: These people are capable of forming rainbows over her head they mean that much to her! They are usually those who are impossibly energetic, compassionate and adventurous and value her somewhat enstranged and fragmented ideas rather than dismiss them as silly. Shabnam has never been one to be finicky about her company and so most people end up here at one point or another, as she appreciates any sort of company greatly. When not wandering alone in her own little world she can usually be seen side by side with these people, a bright gleam in her eye.

Peas in a pod: These people do not necessarily have to share a sibling love with Shabnam to fall into this category. Shabnam’s approach to friendship can be slightly warped to other people’s, as what she values more than anything is someone that understands her and doesn’t question her actions. There are no rules saying that she must know these people inside out, and nor do they have to particularly like her, but they do not shun or alienate her – and that is often what she appreciates. Normally adults or open-minded, clever individuals fit into this category. Anyone that knows there’s more to Shabnam than a short attention span basically!

Making it up as they go along: These people are getting used to her!

A bit of a mystery: There's something not quite right between Shabnam and these people. Strangers who have come across Shabnam under strange circumstance usually fit here. Their significance is never quite understood, but they are important nevertheless.

On totally different planets: Shabnam doesn’t hate anybody, but there are those that hate her. Whether you’re a Slytherin with a grudge toward Hufflepuffs or someone who doesn’t like overtly odd or somewhat idiot individuals – as Shabnam usually appears - then you will probably fit here.

Details: Sophie doesn't quite understand Shabnam completely especially her logic, but then again neither does Shabs particularly understand Soph, in particular her gossipy and fiesty nature. But the two are both very amiable people who love to get along with others, so with little effort they are very good friends. Some of the rather random ideas Shabs comes out with startles Soph, but Soph knows that her own love for guys completley alienates Shabs from time to time. The two realise that pretending to be other than who they are before each other just wouldn't work, so they act precisely how they want to. So are often seen in fits of giggles or worse formulating devious adventures to embark upon.

The two caring companions actually know each other from very early childhood with a loose tie between their families being established by their own enthusiasm and joy on first meeting; long before either began at Hogwarts. Though whenever anybody asks precisely how they know each other they became strangely mum on the subject.

A bit of a mystery.

Details
Warren and Shabnam are hardly a pair most would expect to see under usual circumstances-- however, the fact remains that every time the two meet, the circumstances are, in fact, very unusual.

Though Warren thinks Shabnam is completely bizarre as she is foreign to what he is used to, he can't help but find himself in various situations with her at any given time. It seems that even when he tries to stay away or avoid her, he manages to only stumble across her that much quicker.

However, as they're continuously finding themselves in each other's company, Warren has grudgingly come to accept some sort of a companionship with her and her mystical tarot cards.

Peas In A Pod

Details: Shabnam and Jac have always gotten along like a house on fire. From their first meeting on the Hogwarts Express, their laughter has echoed through empty halls and run in the ears of any nearby. They have shared many a laugh on many memorable occasions and Jac always grins wider when she sees Shabnam coming or going or across the Hall.

They do not spend as much time together as Jac would like. There are several reasons for this. Jac is in Gryffindor and Shabnam, Hufflepuff so that limits them greatly. Also with all Jac's preparations for the up coming Tournament and working hard for her N.E.W.T.s she has little time for anybody. Despite all this, when they do manage to come together, watch out, because jokes, pranks, laughter and tears are sure to follow.

RP Ideas: Well, I think we should go out of our way to make these magical laughing contests happen. Perhaps something in Hogsmeade or in a Corridor ... or two ;D

Ian had stumbled upon Shab when she was a first-year, and he a rowdy fourth year. Him, having thought himself to be much more valued as a Hogwarts vet, soon found himself impossibly intrigued by the firstie.

Now, three years later, they're often seen laughing or muttering about his latest adventure or her latest card reading. He is hugely accepting of her more unique traits, and his curiosity makes it impossible not to always anticipate any new, perhaps bizarre, tricks she has tucked away.
