The Character
Olivia Rose Costa
Liv, Olli, Costa
6th Year, 16
PuffHuffle
Blood: Pureblood
Wand: Holly, 11", Chimaera Scale core
Personality: Olivia is a quiet, not very outspoken type of girl. She still very much has her innocence, and simple hates to talk about people behind their backs. Liv refuses to pass on rumors or anything of the like.
Probably because of this, many people come to trust the Puff girl. She is known to be a good listener, and tries to give as much help as she can to the people who need it. Olivia isn't one to pry either, and just usually let the person tell her --or not -- whatever is bugging them in their own sweet time.
But, like every other normal person, Liv has moments when she can become enraged by something. What exactly triggers these little spouts of anger is not really known, because it happens so very rarely.
Appearance: Olivia stands about the average height (5'4") and is generally 'skinny'. Her hair curls naturally, and is a lighter, chocolate color. She has deep, dark brown eyes that almost have a gray twinge to them.
One thing that Liv prides herself in is her grace. She all but glides as she walks, and barely makes a sound. Her mother had always drilled into her mind that a lady should be poised and graceful, as well as quick-witted.
History: Olivia grew up in a relatively normal family, with only her parents. But, a few years ago, her mother had another child. It was a boy, and he was named William, after Liv's grandfather (who had died when she was young).
When Liv was younger, her mother had started to teach her how to play the piano. The Costa family had a grand piano, which was a family heirloom that had passed down from many generations. She grew to be quite good at it, much to her mother's pleasure. So, for the time while she was home, Liv would put on little shows for her family.
When Olivia arrived at Hogwarts, she wasn't frightened like many of her student friends. She was pleased to find that she had been sorted into Hufflepuff (like her mother) although the hat had some conflict as whether to sort her into Hufflepuff or Gryffindor.
Throughout the years, Liv's popularity hasn't grown to any large extent. This is probably because of the fact that she doesn't care for any fame or the hierarchy of the school. Liv is quite content with just living the days as they come, and doesn't bother herself with any worries over what people think of her.
