The Character
Name: Uriel Levinston

Job Title: Head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation
Age: 49
Blood: Pureblood
Wand: Fourteen and a half inches. Birch wood, Dragon heart-string core. Flexible and well-rounded.
Personality: As all Ministry employees seem to be, Uriel is arrogant and short-tempered. Not particularly friendly, he mostly keeps to himself, only showing his more pleasant side when making a deal and working with magical governments of other countries. Self-important as he may be, he proves to do exceptionally well at his job, being awfully persuasive and never failing to give Britain international advantage.
Having to travel across the world, interacting with important parties of other countries under the Minister of Magic, Uriel knows a number of languages at their perfection and is quite the intelligent man.
Appearance: Well into his forties, Uriel carries the undeniable appearance of old age, with his previous-black, now greying hair and fading youth. Though, his brown eyes are as intimidating as ever.
As his job requires more contracts than physical exertion, such as an Aurors, Levinston isn't too worried about his build, but as he isn't ready to retire quite yet, keeps well in shape. His towering height is one of his best traits, in his opinion.
History: Uriel used to be married quite happily until his late-thirties. Because of the requirements of his job, he was out of the country more than not, neglecting his now twelve-year-old son and remarried wife.
As both disappeared into the Muggleworld, Levinston hasn't seen his son in more than a decade nor his wife, and both have become a distant memory, allowing himself more independence and to continue to absorb himself in his work.
Six months after his wife left him, he was promoted to the head of his department.
