Personality: Mikkel always has a ready smile and was often called Asta, which means star, because of its radiance. However, if one were to cross this line, the grin that once flashed from his shining face would disappear faster than those spotted cats Muggles insisted were the land¡¦s fastest mammal. This has not happened very often, as Mikkel is quite a lenient gentleman, but when it has, all those within his vicinity were thankful that he was a delicate man. When in thought, a common occurrence, Mikkel holds an expression similar to his face of fury, so only those who know him well can confidently say whether or not he is just pondering or simmering with anger.
Appearance: Standing at 186cm, this flaxen-haired and azure-eyed Norwegian towers over most people his age. With his slim form, pale complexion and defining scar on the left cheek, Mikkel could easily be mistaken as a war zone survivor if it were not for his seemingly constant good cheer.
History: Born and raised in beautiful Stavanger, Norway, Mikkel grew up between mountain and sea, so feels comfortable in both terrains. There he attended the Scandinavian Academy for Young Wizards and Witches until the age of 11, then went on to the Durmstrang Magical Institute for his secondary education. This choice was merely guided by close proximity, rather than any love for the dark arts, though the preteen Mikkel thought it would be a grand adventure to go further north for the rest of his schooling. There he proved to be a natural flyer, but his ultimate passion was transfiguration. After his graduation and many nights of opulent celebration, Mikkel attended the prestigious Deutsch University of Magic where they so happened to have Europe¡¦s best course in transfiguration. There he discovered his true love: animagi.
