The Character

Name: Warren Frell
Nicknames (if any): Warr; Ren (by his annoying, bratty, sister)
Age & Year: 3rd
Blood: Pureblood
Wand: 11 inches, oak wood-- very flexible. Slender.

Personality: Warren is very snotty. Though, he has muggle and wizard companions alike, he is very particular about who he befriends. He sets standards for himself, and unconsciously sets standards for everyone around him as well.

As he is very studious, he did marvelous on his O.W.Ls, bringing home an almost perfect report. (OOC: Even though he's in his third year, we'll just predict the future here ) In fact, Warren has never scored a T on anything, and he plans to leave Hogwarts with that same record.

Though, with his friends, Warren is a little less uptight. As any normal teenage boy, he sometimes forgets his responsibility and acts on impulse, getting himself into trouble.

Having him admit that he broke the rules, however, is a very hard task. He is likely to start a stern debate about the entire situation.

Appearance: Though he is quite average looking normally, he takes on a very primmed appearance. Properly groomed dark hair and neatly-pressed clothes are his trademark.

History: Warren learned from a young age that intelligence and wisdom were power. Though he has a very detached relationship with his entire family, Warr spent days locked up in their manor.

Continuously reading, he soon reached his sisters literacy level. A sister that was two years ahead of him in age.

With his absolute love of knowledge, he has cast aside most of what used to be important to him, consuming as much literature as humanly possible.

His parents aren't worried. Though-- neither of them know much about him, and aren't exactly trying their hardest to get to know their son.

Relationships

Best Friends Warren likes to plan out adventures, more than actually take part in them. However, it's his best friends that can usually persuade him to slide by the rules a little, and maybe even sprout a sense of humor.
Study Buddies (Good friends): The library is his haven. He and his good friends also have their fair share of adventures, but he's usually seen chatting in class, or studying with them more often.
Acquaintances Although civil, Warren is very guarded when speaking to those in these category. Polite behaviour, and perhaps a few waves and smiles, but not much more.
Envied Unlike the Slytherin and Gryffindor rivalries, Warren chooses his enemies based on academics. He's very competitive when it comes to grades, and has a slight jealousy streak when he isn't the top scorer.
Enemies Though those that he envies still hold some of Warren's respect, his enemies are those he would hex, even if it were against the rules.

Love interests Warren really doesn't have time for relationships, as he's too busy brooding or studying. But, that's not to say it's impossible[/font]

The components of Warren and Shabnam's association is far from usual. With Warren's crystal clear intelligence and Shabnam's weak grip on reality, they appear - to the naked Eye - to be chalk and cheese, a pairing that should only occur once in a blue moon. Of course, it seems there must've indeed been a blue moon recently...

As much as they appear to belong to different worlds fate has pushed them together, regardless, and for reasons Shabnam doesn't yet understand she has a good feeling about him.
