Blake had become bored of the same old interior of the commonroom, and had decided to stretch his limbs and stroll round the castle grounds. Thoroughly absorbed in his thoughts of hogwarts life, however whether it consisted mainly of girls or studies, was difficult to tell.
A chilling breeze blustered full frontal into his face, causing him to do up his jacket more or less fully. Running his hand through his hair, he looked up to take in his surroundings and found himself by the edge of the lake. The Breeze had caused vast amount of ripples in the generally still waters.
Except for the constant blustering of the chilling wind it was a quiet day in the castle grounds. The usual gaggle of girls that generally followed Harri and himself around the castle had ceased, perhaps they believed the wind would mess up their hair. Blake however was not concerned by this, he believed the windswept look improved his appearance even more, and of course, that to a degree was practically impossible.
He strolled down to the waters edge and lay down upon the grass, and watched the progression of passing clouds.

It was definatly a cold day outside, Belle could tell this just by looking out of the castle windows and over to the forest. She could see the trees rocking back and forth because of the strength of the wind, and now the castle was even more populated due to less people wanting to be outside in the cold. Though to Dyanneabelle, this didnt matter. She preferred the cold anyway.
As she walked out of the marble doors, the breeze hit her full in the face, causing her hair to fly back and her eyes to automatically shut to stop the wind from making them watery. After a minute or so of standing around, and a few comments like, 'Your crazy' being thrown her way, she set about walking outside. The cold didnt bother her, it was more the bite of the cold that got her. Shivering slightly as she found her feet beginning to walk, but to where, she didnt yet know.
Before Belle knew where she was going, she could see the water of the lake going crazy with ripples because of the wind. Her face felt numb and her fingers felt as though they would fall off at any given moment. As she got closer to the lake, she realised someone else was already here, standing on the edge of the water, looking in his direction, trying to see who it was. Though she could see his face, no name was coming to her.

Blake was distracted from his cloud gazing, as her heard a noise back in the direction of the castle, sitting upright once more he turned to see a pretty young Ravenclaw girl heading toward him. Smiling at her, he ran his fingers through his dark brown hair. Showing that it was no intrusion and that she was welcome to join him by the lake if she so wished.
Blake had seen the girl previously, whilst walking down corridors generally on the way to class or the great hall. However this was one girl he had not been introduced too. Which was pretty unusual for people such as himself. He turned his attention back to the otherside of the lake, watching the breeze sway the trees at great length. Providing no unease and feeling of being watched, for the young Ravenclaw.
Blake however was rather intrigued as to why she was out on such a chilly day, it was quite unusual, for girls to be out on their own rather than in a large gaggle, and especially on such a bone chilling day, it was highly perculiar.

Belle watched as he seemed to become slightly distracted when he heard her approach. For a moment she got a sense of feeling that he would like to be left alone, though she couldnt help but stand there. Belle caught the smile he threw to her and returned it out of politeness. It was a cold day, but Belle was more interested in why he was out, than why it was so cold.
She decided she would go over to him. After all, you didnt meet new people just standing and watching did you? Since she was out, and he was out, there was no sense in being outside in the cold alone was there? As she got closer to him, she gave him a friendly smile as she said, "Do you mind?" and nodded to the grass beside him.

The rustling of grass, told Blake that the Ravenclaw girl had made her way toward him as he knew she would. He smiled to himself. Intrigue always worked if you knew how to play it.
Smiling welcomeingly he glanced over his shoulder and stated "Yeh sure, pull up a pew!" he chuckled patting the grass next to him. "Your most welcome. No point wandering a round in the cold on your own, unless of course your mind is preoccupied with more important things. In which case I would not dare press for any answers!" He glanced over the surface of the lake once more before saying.
"I'm Blake by the way, Blake Adams, no doubt you will of heard of me!" He stated with a cheeky grin.

Dyanneabelle sat down beside the boy and glanced out over the lake. Even through the cold, she could tell on a warm day this would be the place you would find most people. Though how she knew this she didnt quite know. She assumed it was down to the relaxed atmosphere of the place, though she dreaded to think of what lay hidden beneath the surface.
"Thankyou" she said with a smile. Looking at him trying to put a name to the face but she couldnt quite pull one off the top of her head, no matter how hard she tried. "Yes, that is true" Belle spoke in a soft voice, "There would be no point in being outside alone on a cold day like today, and i can honestly assure you my mind is not preoccupied with anything" She gave another friendly smile as he began to speak again.
"No, I'm afraid i havnt heard of you" Belle believed in honesty, and she had never heard his name mentioned before. Though now at least, she had a name to put to the face. "Dyanneabelle Alméida" she spoke softly once more, "Though if its easier, you can call me Belle"

"Oh really?!? Never heard of moi? I am all astonished!" He said with a fake expression of shock and pausing for a few moments in this position simply for effect. Smiling he began once again. "Clearly my dear, you do not socialise in the correct circles!" Once again grinning to show that he meant no harm by this statement.
"Ah Belle eh, the french word meaning beauty, and that i can see clearly fits your description perfectly." He declared with a charming smile. "Well Belle, it is a pleasure to make your aquaintance. However i am intrigued indeed, as to why a Girl like yourself would stray outside the castle in conditions such as these? It is, if you do not mind me saying, quite unusual."
The wind had died down a fair amount now, the waters surface was becoming still once more. The giant squid was no doubt at ease in its depths.

"Well i can honestly say i do not socialise much" She gave a weak sort of smile as she realised most of her time was usually spent by herself. She didnt even see her brother or sister much anymore, and since she had been here, she had only ever seen Maxi at the dinner tables. It was like the four of them had all of a sudden just gone in different directions. With Maxi, she understood, with him having a stable relationship now and being a prefect, his time was pretty much spent. But Mark and Alexis, she couldnt understand, what did they have that kept them both busy all the time?
"Oh, uhm... Yes. It is french" She spoke truthfully, seeing as it was, her family was from France, which was the reason both Alexis and Belle attended Beauxbatons, though they sent Mark to Durmstrang. Though when the family moved to London, their father saw it fit to send them here, and as Mark and Alexis seemed to have settled in nicely, Belle had not. Though she kept telling herself it was because Mark and Alexis had been here longer. "Fits my description?" she said, slightly taken aback. This was something usually said to her sister, not to Belle.
"Well i guess it is because everyone is inside and big crowds tend to annoy me somewhat" She shrugged, "And besides, its gets a little tedious being cooped up all day so i thought i would get out for a bit" She noticed the wind had slackened, and it seemed to be getting slightly warmer, though only slightly. "What about you?"

Blake watched her features changed, once he had mentioned socialising she appeared to have gone into fairly deep thought as it showed upon her face. However this did not lessen the beauty, it rather more enhanced it. She was clearly a highly intelligent person otherwise she would not have been placed into ravenclaw afterall.
"Fits your description, why yesh indeed, you show much beauty. Especially for one so young!" He stated genuinely, afterall it was true, very few people had true beauty, those that appeared to had generally enhanced it by magic.
"Yesh i do conur. Rather tedious indeed, I was becoming bored of the same old interior of the castle. And of course there is the added breathing space out in the grounds, time to think, or avoid certain people one would suppose." Even though he had one to avoid, it was rathyer common that people whom spent days such as these out in the grounds, were trying to avoid a certain someone.
"Also there is something so encaptivating about the scenery at this time of year." With this he looked back out over the lake, to the far bank, large amounts of fallen leaves, collected below the trees. Occasionally disturbed by gusts of winds which caused a spiralling effect amongst them. The Sun was attempting to break through the clouds once more and warm the surrounding area. It was so simple to become transfixed in thought on days such as these.

Belle tried to remember the last time, apart from now, she had ever socialised in Hogwarts. She used to be quite sociable in Beauxbatons but for some reason she seemed a little shy here. Belle liked to try and figure people out before she spoke to them, though now she was beginning to realise that was not always the best option, instead, you should get to know someone before passing a judgment.
"Oh, well... Thankyou" Belle stammered, feeling her cheeks warm at this. She didnt understand why she couldnt take compliments well, all her family could. Mark just laughed them off, Alexis knew she was pretty, but Belle, for some reason, couldnt. She started to play with the hem of her robes, which were neat and tidy.
She nodded, he was right. The same old places in the same old place did get rather tedious after a while. There was only so many times you could be amazed by something, and to Belle, it was all growing rather old. She wanted to go someplace she had never been before, though it was not likely to happen. "You want to avoid someone?" she questioned moments later, realising now if he wanted to be left alone, she shouldnt have bothered him.
"Yeah, it is nice out here. Even though it is slightly cold" She looked out over the lake, watching it ripple in the breeze. The wind had died down but there was still that breeze with the extra crispy bite attatched to it. Belle could feel her cheeks begin to ache because of it.

Blake smiled reassureingly at Belle, she seemed to have to self believe in herself, and seemed continuously taken aback by truthful compliments. Though she had no need to be so. He watched as she began playing with her robes and avoiding looking directly at him. Perhaps, she would be more at ease if he changed the subject, Mulling this over he waited for to her to speak once more.
"No one in particular to avoid no. However me and Harri do have a tendancey to be stalked aroujd the castle by a gaggle of girls. At least here they won't venture! 'Oh no, we could not possibly mess up our lovely hair!'"He said in a mockingly highpitched voice, however he could not conceal a smile. It always made him laugh how most girls would not go in the rain without a umbrella or somethnig to protect their hair. It was very unusual to find those that didn't care.
"I love this kind of weather, its cold, but not so cold that its uncomfortable. If you know what I mean of course. I do have a tendancey to ramble." He muttered the last part, ruffeling up his hair, with a bemused expression across his features.
"However, if you do get to cold then inform me, and we can either, walk the circumference of the lake or of course you may borrow my jacket. I'm not cold as it is. Unless of course you get bored of my company, in which case I would not blame you and would not be offended if you headed back to the castle!" He declared with a laugh and a warm smile.

Belle laughed, she pitied girls who wouldnt do things just because their hair might fall out of place, or they might get a bit of dirt under their nails. Whereas Belle didnt mind, afterall, her hair right now looked like she had been dragged through a thorn bush backwards. "Well i guess you two must have something that attracts those sort of girls" Belle laughed. "Following you two around, pointing at your backs and muttering things to their friends? Sounds like a great batch of fun, at least you know you two wont be without dates at the next ball" she laughed again.
"Well ramblings better than not speaking at all, and yes i know what you mean" Belle said with a shiver. She liked the cold, but her body didnt seem to be able to handle it very well. She watched as he ruffled his hair, her own flailing around her face. It occured to her that her hair was going to start annoying her and now she thought she should have put it up instead.
"Well arent you just the perfect little gentleman" she laughed as she looked out over the lake. "Dont be silly, I wont be getting bored anytime soon, this is the only normal conversation i have had since i got here" She smiled at him and shrugged, "And besides, stay out here and be cold with some decent company? Or go back inside where its warm with stupid people that annoy me? I dont know about you but i think im going to stay out here"

Blake was pleased to see Belle laugh, it meant that he was at least vaguely amusing company either that or she was laughing out of politeness. in which case he would rather believe the previous of these.
"Oh yesh, it is clearly our dashing good looks! Who could refuse such a pair!" He stated with a grin as he ran his fingers through his curls.
"Ah yesh there is that aspect I suppose! Never without a date. However it is always amusing to see there faces if we go with someone who they deem to be less important or pretty as themselves! However it gives them something to talk about at least, and it also makes them try even harder to get in your good books!" He chuckled at this, the image always made him laugh to a great extent.
"That is ok then! I shall continue to bore you with my random ramblings in that case!" Grinning, he watched as the breeze caught Belle's and caused her long blonde hair to whirl through the air behind her.
"Oh why yes indeed miss! Where would we be without politeness and manners! I just happen to possess them both!" He puffed out his chest in mock importance and supressing a laugh he got to his feet and cheekily bowed twice.
"The first normal conversation hey?! And how long have you been here for. may I ask? And I do concur why would you want to go inside and talk to others, when you coukld converse with the amazing person that is me!" He laughed after his initial suprise of having very few normal conversations.

Belle liked to laugh sometimes, it made her feel like there was something worth doing or getting up in the morning for. Which, as of late, she was finding slightly hard to do. Mark had been off doing whatever he was doing and she only caught glimpses of him here and there, and Alexis, Alexis was probably seducing some poor boy and making him fall for her just so she could trample all over him. Belle never wanted to be like that.
"It must be. You wouldnt have that many people after you if you werent in some way charasmatic now would you?" She smiled. Sometimes things that would usually never come out of her mouth, just sounded right rolling off her tongue. Though she was sure Lexi would be able to come up with something better than just that. Why do i keep comparing myself to my sister? she wondered to herself.
"Well i guess some guys are just lucky, and maybe some girls too. Though i think id prefer to go alone, you know, keep my options open and all that" She couldnt help another giggle escaping her, of course she knew this wasnt true, if anybody asked her to go she would probably say no out of shyness rather than not wanting to go with anybody. Of course, she wasnt going to tell him that.
"Politeness and manners gets you places cheekyness cant" She said with a wink. She liked a bit of cheek in a guy, it made things all the more interesting for her. Though too much cheek caused her to lose interest. Dyanneabelle was just a difficult person to please.
"In all honesty. Not long. About a month or so. We used to live in France so me and Alexis went to Beauxbatons, and Mark went to Durmstrang, but something happened and we had to move in with my dad so we got transferred here" She explained, though trying not to go into to much detail.

"Indeed! Dashing good looks, charming smile amazing personality, who could ask for more. I have charasmatic down!" Blake declared with a hand on his hip, a cheeky grin and slightly raised eyebrows.
He noticed that Belle had relaxed alot more now, she seemed much more at ease to be herself than at the beginning of the conversation. "Too keep your options open eh, very nice! I must say it depends more on what mood i'm in sometimes. I just enjoy not choosing anyone for a long while, to keep them in suspense. However at other times, it stops them harassing you trying to make sure that they go with you rather than anyone else!" Blake laughed.
It sounded quite shallow in away but he did however speak the truth. He did enjoy tormenting them, because they were all smiles and sweetness and trying to impress, yet after he had finally picked someone, then they had a tendancy to become violent to whomever he had chosen.
"Indeed, cheekiness does only get you so far, but sometimes it can be made up by charming smiles and cheeky winks also! Do you not think?! Yet we must indeed show that we can behave when it is required of us! Otherwise we would get nowhere!" Blake stated with a large grin spreading across his face.
"Only a month!" Blake repeated with shock, however recovering. He shook it off by cheekily responding. "Well that explains why I did not know you by name then! After all I know all the pretty ladies in the school! Well at least now I do anywho!" He added with a wink.
"Beauxbatons eh, and how does Hogwarts compare to the beauty, that I hear is Beauxbatons? Is Hogwarts adequate in comparison?" He asked, not pressing about the other things she had mentioned. The way she had skimmed over these facts made it seem as if she was not willing to discuss them with him. And he was not willing to injure her friendship by becoming too inquistive.
