The Character
Gertrude Marigold Hubbles
-- 21 -- Hufflepuff -- Half blood --[/center][/font]
It will seem an obvious statement but Girty is a Hubbles. She always has been and always will be, and because of this she has gained some of the families quite famous quirks. She has her mother’s rather erratic and crazed behaviour. Small things can amuse her such as the popping noise some portraits make when they open or the fizzing noise that a pack of exploding snap cards make after the game is over. But this is only helped by her ability to nearly always been in a good mood. It is rather simple with Girty she is either in a very good mood and acting extremely hyper or in a fowl mood due to lack of sleep and other exterior factors.
Girty makes a very loyal friend, she forms very close bonds to people and so will do anything for them. She will stand by them no matter what, protect them and risk her own life but simply loves having a good time with them. Girty knows many people deepest secrets as she seems to be the kind of person people can talk to, maybe it is because she has an air about her that is comforting she does not know, but Girty loves the whole idea of people finding her trust worthy.
Girty is very hard working and will do anything to reach her goals in life. She wants to get the best grades she can mange at school so she can have a steady job, what pays well and all in all have a happy life. She knows it will be tough and hard work, particularly with her ‘issues’ but she hopes to overcome those boundaries.
Girty is off medium height and build. Although she loves to eat she lucky seems to be one of these people where it does not show. It might be because of her hyper active attitude that keeps her moving all the time and also her actives with the Quidditch team but what ever it is she is happy with the way she looks.
Her hair is longish, cut just below her shoulders with her fringe sweeping across, but not all the way over her eye. (she is not an emo) Although from time to time she will put her hair up, it is normally a sign that she has not washed it that day or she has got fed up of it flopping in front of her while she is trying to work.
Girty takes pride in being a Hufflepuff and so is normally found with her robes on simply to show the fact that she is indeed one. However during weekends her normal clothes are trousers (with plenty of pockets) a plain top and a nice warm jump (most likely with some form of yellow on it)
If you are unlucky enough to see Girty at night during a full moon you will see a rather small looking werewolf, with big teeth and a glint in its evil eyes. If so…please do not hurt Girtywolf….she really does not mean any harm.
Wand:
Girty goes through so many of these it is unbelievable. Her farther jokes that they must keep the wand makers in business. And now to help prevent her from losing it as much she come to keeping it inside socks.
Family:
Dennis- Farther (Wizard, ex-Hufflepuff, now works on a muggle council in her local town)
Penelope – Mother (Muggle, met Dennis in the middle of field…she did not know why she was their but she was in a hurry to get home as she had left her socks on the stairs…..Dennis was on his way to the Quidditch world cup!)
Daniel- Brother (Current Charms professor and Head of Hufflepuff house)
History:
Girty is proud to be a Hufflepuff. It is what everyone in her family had been and she is happy to have continued that tradition on. So when she was sorted into the house of the badger she could not have been prouder. But in her first few year at Hogwarts Girty was a background girl but it is not to say she did not have friends and adventures. She actually became very close friends with a guy from Ravenclaw and the two were inseparable. The first three years was a very happy time for Girty but she wanted more, she liked her closed friend a little bit more then best friends do, he was her first high school crush but he showed no more affection then being close friends so that was how it remained and as Girty entered her fourth year this relationship stayed in the background while Girty moved to centre stage.
It was in her 4th year that Girty started to really come into the main school life when she managed to get onto the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. It was from this she formed a very close friendship group with two of the other team members Boggleworth and Grace Marks. Since then these three have been almost inseparable. Grace and Girty joined at the hip….while Grace and Bog were joined at the lips. Even when her two best mates started to date Girty managed to shrug it off….if they were happy she was happy. It was this attitude and friendship that got her the nice bite on her shoulder….and she got it from non other then Boggleworth himself. The bogwolf was going for Grace and Girty could not stand to see her best mate hurt and she knew Bog would never be able to live with himself knowing he had hurt her so she jumped in the way.
Since then every full moon Girty has a little adventure in the forest…although is proud to boast she has not killed a fellow student yet, although she has attacked a few.
Her 5th year was built up of mainly trips in the forest, Quidditch games, lessons and having fun with her friends. It was in this term she (and her brother the new Hufflepuff head of house) helped Hufflepuff take the house cup and she also scored many goals for her house team in Quidditch. She also had the pride of being picked as her houses representative in the Quadwizard tournament! It was also in this year the presence of the ministry started which would later affect her whole view on life.
Another Hufflepuff Girty formed a tight connection with was Thom Moan. He was Girty’s high school crush which stupidly lasted until the day he died. Which sadly for Girty was only weeks after her own brother had been attacked. Torn up by his death Girty ended her 6th year on a low point and was thankful for the holidays to appear so she could get away from the castle where the memories haunted her. Even though yet again Hufflepuff won the house cup nothing seemed right…and the presence of the ministry made it worse.
In her final year Girty had to live and learn in the place where Thom had died, and now both Bog and Grace had gone Girty was left to do her own thing. So she took over the lead of the student activist group ‘The Guild’ and is helping them make a stand. Her small crush on Thom seemed to pass a lot quicker then it should have done when Girty became rather friendly with a Rouge Simon Ellison, he was the only thing that kept her sane during the long and drawn out break up of Dan and Dia however this relationship soon petered out when Girty happened to bump into an old friend and all those feelings from the first few years at Hogwarts came rushing back and Girty and Alex were soon inseparable once more.
When the owl arrived over the summer bringing her grades Girty was pleased with the results, Dan however was not. (Although he could not help but grin when he saw she got full marks in Charms)

Instead of moving on and finding herself a job in the outside world Dan has taken her under his wing at Hogwarts and made her his apprentice with just one condition, she re-sat the exams for those lessons she only got an Acceptable in. So with another year at Hogwarts planned out Girty can not wait to go back and enjoy the new experiences of non student life. |

Close Friends
Met her once she seemed okay
Details:
Mark met Girty in the Forest one night while exploring and though the two didnt get along very well at first, which was probably more Mark's fault than Girtys, it seems apparent that the two could whip up a pretty decent friendship. Mark didnt know of Girty's condition when he first met her, due to his plain ignorance and not being at the school for very long. It started when he attacked a werewolf infront of her and Girty wasnt particulary pleased about it. One of the trees in the forest fell on top of it nearly crushing the beast and later he immobilsed it, again to Girty's distaste. He eventually realised what this creature meant to her and though it was immobilsed and even though Mark didnt want to, he helped raise the tree off it. After this a few arguments arose and plenty of disagreements, though after a while the two set aside their differences and vowed to start again, and though there was still some trouble in the forest, which Mark still doesnt understand and he wont ask her about it, the question still stands; Will they be able to set aside their differences for good and become friends? Or will their differences be the thing that seperates them?

-Shoulder to cry on-:-Partners in crime- Details: It was all Grace's fault really but a happy accident never the less. Through meeting Girty, Jac has learnt a great deal about sweets she didn't know before. This is because she and Girty often talk about sweets and rebuttal their knowledge about sweets, Girty winning every time. Their similar dispositions are compatible and they know how to make each other laugh. Now that Grace has left, it's just Girty and Jac till the very end. The Tournament promises to be something to put their friendship to the test, quite literally of course as they will be tested beyond their limits. Jac is certain that Girty is the only one she would be happy with betting her in the Tournament. Many conversations have revolved around what the tasks will be and so their excitement grows. Jac really enjoys spending time with Girty as there is no pressure and Jac get's enough of that from her sisters and brothers. |

Details
Dan is Girty’s older brother (9 years her elder) and they are best friends. They spent a lot of time together and tell each other everything. So although they act like best buddies they also have a very strict brother sister relationship. The higherarchy is in place with not only them but also in their parents eyes. Dan does not mean to put pressure upon Girty but it has become almost a bad habit with the want for her to achieve everything she wants, but he also finds her opinion vital and will want her approval on almost anything he does.
Dan will do anything for Girty, he wants to protect her every step and make sure that nobody hurts her physically or emotionally. A few people have found that out but lucky for him and her there has been nothing too major for him to deal with.

Love is a strong word and Simon would never use it freely but he cares about Girty…a lot! They original met in the pub many moons ago and they got talking and admired each other from across the bar buying each other drinks and merely being civil to one another.
It was really Christmas when the two became close, Simon spent the Holidays with Girty’s family and ever since then the couple have been going out for the quick drink here and there.
In Simons eyes he sees one problem with the relationship and that is that he is a rouge wizard, without a penny to his name and no future prospects. He worries about hurting Girty in the case of him being arrested or at worst being killed. (He is sure that will not do her mentally any good if the two men she has cared for in life end up dead)
But his pride does get in the way from time to time he finds it hard to come to terms that Girty is the one paying for everything, she is supporting him when in his eyes it should be the man in the relationship that should do that…but as long as Girty is happy Simon is happy.
He does have one fear though…that Girty will turn out like her brother the signs are already there she is drinking more and more, she is talking freely to other people, she is on about touring the world maybe then after seeing the sites she can get herself a steady job…he only hopes that the she does not follow his footsteps in the other area what Dan is famous for.
Future RP ideas
Well seeing as I play both characters then there will not be a lot! There relationship will just be mentioned in each others posts. They are miles apart in situation and the only time they are together is in the pub and role playing fluff by yourself is a tiny bit sad hahaha. I do have my limits haha!

They met in a classroom. History of Magic to be precise, but like usual, Alex was late and the only place left was next to Girty. He sat down and started to talk to her, they worked together throughout their lessons and eventually became friends.
They often went for walks together and on adventures, they used to get themselves into so much trouble it was unbelieveable. After a while Alex began to find himself attracted to her, but bit his tongue and didnt say anything about it, he tortured himself and kept his feelings to himself, not wanting to scare her away as she seemed, even though they were close, quite distant.
During the second year, they began to get closer and Alex's feelings for her didnt waver, he sent her a Valentines day card, but didnt say who it was from. She ended up burning it, though Alex didnt blame her really. Still, he hid his feelings and carried on as friends.
In the third year, they took a walk to Hogsmeade together, though the bustle of the street was too much for Alex to cope with so dragged her away and up to the top of a hill on a snowy december afternoon. From there they could see the lake, hogsmeade and their beloved castle. They used to come up here all the time and talk and laugh, many a time they would roll down the hill, get grasstains on their robes or fall into the lake. Still these were his happiest memories.
Year four onwards, the two grew apart. Girty found new friends in her house and he did in his own and the two rarely saw one another. Alex tried to forget his feelings for her but he couldnt, one day he finally went to tell her, only to find she was already in love with someone else, so he left it and hid his feelings once more... Though every time he saw her with him, he felt so many stabs of jealousy. He didnt like seeing her with someone else, looking as happy as she did, he liked seeing her happy, but he hated the fact it wasnt with him and always wondered, what would have happened if i had told her how i felt? He started seeing someone else, though wished with all his heart that it was Girty beside him, not this other girl.
When Thom died, Alex wanted to comfort her more than anything, but Steph wouldnt allow it. She kept Alex close to her at all times to make sure he didnt run off to Girty, it killed hims seeing Girt like this and he hated himself for letting Steph manipulate him. Eventually he broke it off with Steph.
Finally, when the two were together once more, reminising over the past. His feelings came out, but where they go from here, only time will tell. |

For the past few weeks, unfortunatly for the two, their relationship has been up and down. They have been going though a lot emotionally wise. Both hidden their feelings for so long, when they eventually came out they didnt know what to do. Though what made it more confusing for Alex was the fact when his feelings for her came out, she was already seeing someone.
Though all that didnt matter in the end, when Alex finally asked Girty to be his, he never thought he'd get an answer unless he finally asked. Which, against his better judgement he did.
It just proves if you are willing to wait, (In Alex's case seven years,) and fight for what or who you want, you can get it, nothing is out of your reach, which Alex realised when Girty accepted to be his.

We've met a few times...she seemed ok.Details: The two Hufflepuffs have come across each other on multiple occasions. Taking a few of the same class and living in the same house, it is hard not to bump into each other. However, never have they had an actually conversation, other than, 'Did you do the homework?' Perhaps it was the age difference, perhaps it was just something they looked over, but the two Hufflepuffs never became solid friends. However, one night, Girty came across Ellie crying the hall. Distraught, Ellie seemed to strike out against those trying to help her, until they could find out what is wrong, and Ellie will let help come in.

To sum it down, Ricky hates her.
Details
Shes not a Slytherin, that was one basis for his dislike on Miss Hubbles. Ricky disliked anyone who wasnt in Slytherin, heck he even disliked some Slytherins too. Though he found out she was a werewolf, a halfbreed and that knocked him sick, and he really hated her after that, trying to do anything possible to make her life a living hell.
Of course, a lot of their dislike comes out in their Quidditch matched, one known time of this was when she broke his shoulder in a match, and he hasnt quite forgotten this, and certainly wont forgive it. One day he will get that Halfbreed back and when he does it wont be pretty

Stuff: If being a Hufflepuff wasn't enough Girty is also a class act, and Pippa respects that completely, easily able to laugh and joke together Pippa just feels comfortable, which is how it should be.
