Charlie sat in the common room, on the rainy Sundy afternoon. He had finsihed his homework and had nothing to do but strum at his guitar. He wasn't playing any song, nor any particular notes, just a few random cords.
He glanced outside for a second after he heard thunder, but looked back staright ahead at a chair that he's been looking at before.
As he kept struming, he realized a few minutes later that someone had made the empty chair un-empty...

Maxi has been on the other side of the grounds when the downpour had started, his white shirt was sticking rather thinly to his torso and his hair was waterlogged by the time he reached the marble steps leading into the main hall of the castle. Max by now looked like a poor drenched rat!
He hadnt brought his robe out, which would have more than likely kept him a little dryer. He made his way through the corridors, shaking his hand through his hair trying to rid himself of the excess water as a thunderclap sounded outside. This day he decided to take a walk was the day it decided to rain.
As he got in the common room, at first he didnt realise anyone else was there. Taking off his shirt and flinging it by the fire to dry, Max picked up a towel from one of the piles and began to dry his hair with it as he sat down. Though he felt someone looking at him, with a curious and rather paranoid feeling, Max looked up to see another guy there, holding a guitar and suddenly Maxi felt rather naked. "Oh, Uh... Hi!" Max said with the towel still on his head as he began to rub it again, "Got a little wet outside, in case you hadnt noticed" He laughed.

Charlie cocked his head to the side a bit. It wasn't out of rudness, he just felt a little odd. The boy who had sat in front of him, hadn't had a shirt on. "Er...hi!" Charlie stamered, a bit. The boy had clearly not seen him there, so Charlie relaxed a bit.
"I did!' Charlie said with a grin.
"I'm Charlie, Charlie Fere!" Charlie said. He would have extened a hand like he normally did, but they were across he room from each other and Charlie had his guitar on his lap.
Charlie had reconized the boy, he was in a few of his classes. And looked the same age as Charlie, but he couldn't find his name, it seemed earssed fromh is mind.

Maxi laughed, it would have taken a dimwhit not to notice that Max looked like he had dived headfirst into the lake itself, though saying that, the way it was raining outside you would think someone had picked it up and turned the lake upside down over the castle grounds. He threw the towel down next to his shirt, which was still not dry and leant back on the chair.
"Maxi" He said with a smile, "Maxi Hennerdale, slightly crazy, blah blah blah." The blonde looked towards the fireplace. Watching the flames dance within the grate, stiffling a yawn, anybody would think he had been up all hours the amount of energy he had used just running over the grounds, the poor lad looked like a drowned rat.
"So, uh, Charlie?" Maxi said, trying to think up some form of conversation while he waited for his shirt to dry, why Wizards didnt own dryers he would never know, "You new?"

Charlie grew a grin on his face when he heard the other boy smile. It was infectious, and to Charlie it was the greatest sound in the world.
Charlie had to laugh. "It's okay, crazy is so close to me, it's practically my first name!" Charlie said with a grin. Charlie turned his head to the fire watching it flicker up into the chimney...wherever it lead to, it the enormous extireor of the castle.
Charlie laughd,"I haven't been since my first year!" he said politely,"I'm in sixth year, I've seen you in some classes, too!" Charlie said trying to sound as polite as possible at the fact that the Maxi had never noticed Charlie in the slightest.

Maxi looked at Charlie who was grinning like a chesire cat, which in turn made Maxi's grin grow wider. He hadnt smiled like this in a long time and it was certainly overdue, though greatly appreciated.
"Well if you're not crazy, you dont belong in Gryffindor." Maxi laughed, as he wiped a straggly stray hair out of his eyes, though as he felt his hair he realised due to wetness it was like rats tails. Standing up and stretching, his shoulder blade straining as were his back muscles, he walked over to a cupboard and took out one of his combs, pulling it through his hair he looked around at Charlie, when Max was stood up straight like this he was 6'2, pushing 6'3. "I dont want it to get all ratty." He smiled, "I have to keep appearances and mine is a hard one to keep."
"Oh," Max said, feeling completley dimwhitted now, total blonde moment. Of course, he remembered him now, vaguely. Maxi just rarely took anyone in notice these days, his thoughts were always occupied by something or other. "I'm a prat we all know! Sheesh," Maxi laughed and walked back over and sat on the sofa again. His white shirt was stained and he hadnt noticed until now, "God, there goes another shirt..."

Jac had been swimming when it had started to rain. No. Not rain, pour. Pour cats and dogs. As she lazily swam on her back, feeling the heavy drops hit her pale cheeks, Jac didn't mind. She was wet after all. But her mate had and so, Jac had gotten out, pulling on soaked clothing and running up to the castle. Jeffery and agreed to update her on his issues at Dinner and run off towards the Badgers burrows. Laughing to herself, Jac made her way steadily towards the Common room.
Most students hadn't been outside when it had started to rain. Lucky them, Jac thought as her underwear began to do funny things. Laughing to herself at how funny she must look with her arm down her black and white striped shirt, Jac gave the Fat Lady the pass word and went into the common room. First of all, Jac pulled off her shoes at the entrance, mini waterfalls pouring out each in turn. Moving slowly towards the fireplace, Jac saw two people, one that made her face light up.
Walking with her head held high, Jac dropped her shoes in front of the roaring fire and jumped onto Maxi's lap, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I do love it when you take your shirt off," Jac chuckled and hugged Maxi. Putting her hands on the back of his neck, Jac noticed his hair was just as wet as hers (well, almost). Running her hand through his hair and ruffling it, Jac giggled. "I see you also got into the down pour, huh?"
The look on Maxi's face was priceless and Jac laughed, leaning forward so that she looked behind her and she saw someone else, remembering that Maxi wasn't alone. Her cheeks burn a bright red, her hair shooting a complete vivid purple, and she shot up off of Maxi's lap. "Oh," she said, all too aware of her burning red cheeks and her hair that had changed colour. "I ... erm," she looked nervously from the other guy to Maxi.
Then the embarrassment was gone. "I didn't realise you weren't alone," Jac chirped with a large grin on her face. Smiling at the other boy, Jac began to take her shirt off, arranging it by the fire. "Hiya," she said, unbuttoning her jeans, "name's Jac. Not seen you 'round?"
