Rieko, still being fairly new to the school and only having met a few interesting people, decided to take in some of the sights. She had wandered the corridors, ran into suits of armour, caused mass amounts of damage, (mainly to herself) seen Hogsmeade and evaded those more annoying sorts of people. Now she decided to take in the wonders that were the school grounds.
She walked past the lake, but being who she was, hated the water so she just stopped, looked, said "Thats nice" and moved on. She went to the forest, looked in the dreary trees and decided that was an adventure best saved for night, the courtyard was full of too many people, and crowds just infuriated her so she moved on, again.
Her next stop was a rather strange looking tree. It seemed to be calm, blowing slightly in what Rieko assumed was the breeze. It seemd calm, and yet it intimidated her a little. Her hair was ied back today, the wind was something she did not want to deal with. She spied a hole at the bottom of the tree trunk and curosity got the better of her.
Well you know what they say, curiosity killed the cat.
She began to walk towards the trunk, not realising the tree had leant back ready to throw itself at the poor girl. Luckily for Rieko, as it began to swing forward, her instincts told her something was up, looking up she saw a rather thick and hefty branch coming down hard and fast towards her, "Whoa!" she yelled jumping out of the way, before the onslaught of tree branches tried to attack her.
She managed to get out of the way, though her hair had fell out of the bobble it was in as she looked wide eyed at the ferocious tree.
"Now I see why nobody but me is here!"

Ash smiled as he walked across the lawns, he walked towards the lake, then changed his mind, and turned around walking the other way. Suddenly he heard a voice, walking a little faster he came upon a Gryffindor girl standing in front of the Whomping Willow. Laughing quietly he called to the girl, "I wouldn't get too close to that tree! That's the Whomping Willow, been there for years. Strangely enough, no one knows what it's purpose is." He smiled and extended a hand, "I'm Ashton McLane, you can call me Ash."

"Yeah, you're a little late for that warning"
She turned as he told her his name. Where had she heard that before? It sounded so familar, in fact he was quite familiar, she was sure she had seen him somewhere before. "Ashton, Ashton... Where do I--" Then it hit her.
"You're Maxi's ex!" Of course, how could she have been so dimwhitted, she had seen him only last summer at Maxi's. For gods sake she had spent time with the lad. She smiled at him, she had liked Ash and thought her cousin a fool for doing what he did to him. She looked back to the tree and scowled, "There must be a way to get under there"

Ash nodded, "Yep, that's me!" He looked at the tree, "There is a way actually, see that knot right there?" He pointed it out with his finger, "If you're an animagus and can morph into something small like a cat or something, you just press the knot, and the tree temporarily freezes. I'd do it myself, but my animagus form is too big. Full grown white tiger."

Rieko wasnt sure whether she should turn into her Animagus form. She was unregistered and she knew if she was caught it would cause a hell load of trouble for her. She sighed and looked at Ashton, she didnt know how he could be so calm about saying he was one, he must have been registered or something.
She looked around, making sure nobody was around before saying, "You know my form is small, you've seen it at Maxi's" She told him sighing, was he alway this forgetful? She morphed quickly into her tiny tiger cub from and ran quickly, touching the knot with her nose so the tree went limp. Running into the hole, she changed back, she wasnt used to doing that so openly.

Ash blushed, "Oh yeah, I forgot about that." Rieko ran forward and froze the tree, Ash walked forward. "Think we should go down there?" he asked.

She folded her arms and raised an eyebrow at Ash, "Well there wasnt much point in me doing that if I at least wasnt going to" She smiled at him, "You can go back if you want, but im going to see where it leads"

Jeremy was taking a walk around the grounds. He had just left a bunch of his friends up by the courtyard, but seeing as they were all heading down to potions, Jeremy didn't go with them. His schedule was all messed up. They put him in all different classes then his friends, so now, he was the only one who had a free period.
He usually spent this time wandering around or going up to the common room to read. Today he had found himself down by the Whomping Willow. His first and second years he had often come to the tree to think. It really wasn't a bad tree. By the end of his second year it let him get with in teen feet of it before it started to go crazy, and even then it wouldn't hit him as hard.
Jeremy saw that two figures were also muddling around the tree. A girl and a boy. As he got closer he saw Ashton McLane, a boy in his own house and year. He walked faster to catch up with him and the girl.
As he got closer he saw the girl had disappeared and instead a same tiger cub was crawling stealthily under the tree. It seemed to bump its nose against the tree, but then the willow ceased to move. Jeremy ran over to them. The girl changed back just as he got there.
"Hey Ash!" He yelled, noticing they were about to go down into the tree. "Hey Wait up!" he yelled, and finally caught up with them. "I'm in." he said, not even knowing what they were doing.

Rieko smiled at Ashton, anyone foolish enough to call Rieko a lady deserved a smile. "Thankyou Mr McLane" she cooned as she turned to look down the dark tunnel. She pulled out her wand and muttered "Lumos" as a light eminated from the tip of her wand, she raised it a bit higher so they could see further down.
Rieko could hear the sounds of the tree creaking in the breeze, "Wasnt it put here for Lupin when he was a student?" She asked, turning to look at Ashton, "I heard when he was bitten, the Headmaster put this tree here so he had somewhere to go on the nights of the moon, away from the other students so he wouldnt cause them any harm"
She looked at the other boy who joined them, Ash seemed to know him even if Rieko didnt. Though it wasnt hard really, Rieko was willing to be she knew about four people here. Though she didnt mind, it wasnt the amount of people that you knew, it was who you knew and who you could have a laugh with. She knew he had seen her in her animagus form, and this worried her. She was an unregistered Animagi and if news about that leaked out she would be in a lot of trouble.
"Well why are we all stood here, waiting for this thing to come back to life?" She asked as she began to follow the path down into the gloomy depths.

Ash turned to see a boy from his house. "Uh, okay." he said, How in Merlin's name does everyone seem to know who I am these days? he thought to himself. He turned back to Rieko. "Uh, yeah. I think that's what it was for. But that was well over a hundred years ago, so I'm not sure." Lighting his own wand, he followd Rieko down the narrow tunnel.

Jerry smiled at the girl who warmly greeted him. Ashton did not, he looked confused. Well, it was hard spending six years in a house and not know someone who was in both your house and your year. The paths were bound to cross sometime.
He nodded toward the girl and she went down into the tunnel. Ashton followed after her quickly. Jeremy wasn't sure how long the tree would maintain its stationary state, so he pulled out his wand from his back pocket and whispered "Lumos". Looking behind him making sure that no one else could see him, he followed the others into the tunnel quickly.

Rieko held her wand out, walking slowly down the tunnel, she didnt know where it led and the question of getting back out came to her mind when she heard a crash behind her that made her spin around. She watched as the tree branches crashed to the floor, clearly not very happy with the intrusion the three students had created.
Turning back around, Rieko walked on further but caught her foot on a rock. Slipping forward she dropped her wand and landed on the palms of her hand so not to land on her head instead. Picking up her wand she shined it down to her ankle, which was now bleeding and was quite painful, "Ouch," she mumbled, "That had better not scar!" She slolwy pulled herself to her feet, and using her free hand, leant on the wall as she walked.
She wasnt sure how far behind her, Ashton and the other Claw was, so she looked back, "Watch for that rock," she smiled, "Its sneeky, jumped out at me." No sooner had she said this, an image of a rock jumping, flaired arms yelling, hiyaaa came to her mind which made her laugh.

((Okay, guys, Ash has only been here since his fifth year. So the reason he doesn't know Jeremy is because he's probably never met him))
Ash sighed and shook his head. "Well that was graceful Ecko!" he teased. Holding his wand higher he saw that the tunnel extended much further than they had thought. "Whoa, didn't know it extended this far!"
