[SC.Room] Muggles? Not for her

[Ella Malfoy]

Ella stormed into the room, throwing down her book bag, and tearing her cloak off her body. Heads turned to her in the common room, then went back to what they were previously doing.

"Stupid bloody Muggle studies teacher! I am a Malfoy for Merlins sake! I will NOT do a report on muggles!" Ella mumbled angrily as she sat down on the common room couch, floding her arms across her chest and looking anigrily into the fireplace.

"What the?!"

Came a loud, shocked voice from the girls dorms, and as a billowing of smoke and a bang clouded the air Cairo Blackwell came flying into the room, slamming against a table and toppling everything--including herself--to the floor. Loud, obnoxious giggles echoed within the room she had just come from, and, rubbing her forehead, she stood quickly, dusting herself off. "Stupid.." She muttered under her breath, the rest of what she said incoherant as she murmured a stream of curses with large, steely eyes. Black residue clung to her clothes, and her platinum-blonde hair stuck out jaggedly, but she still carried herself with some grace as she walked over near Ella, shaking her head. She didn't exactly know the Malfoy girl, but word around was she had Ravenclaw friends too, and didn't like much Slytherins. Them and their pompous attitudes. Perhaps they would get along, Cairo and Ella?

Hopefully.

Seeing as the girls hadn't followed her out into the sitting area in the common room, Cairo visibly relaxed, looking over at the frustrated-appearing Ella before saying, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to distract you from your.. Sitting, or anything." with a regretful glimmer in her light eyes. It was pretty funny though, how strange and amusing things always seemed to happen to her.

Ella was startled as a girl flew down from the dorm, seeming to eb caused by some type of explosion that left, what looked like, ash upon the girl...
wasn't that Cairo? Ella wondered.
Then, she realized that it was as Cairo as she had spoken to Ella.
Laughing, she replied "No, no its fine! Why did they do that?" Ella asked, glancing up to see other Slytherin girls laughing. As Ella gave them a death glare and stood up to narrow it, they retreated back to their dorm. She might not rein over everyone, but being a Malfoy, she had a little control over most of the Slytherins. Especially the ones whos parents worshipped at her father and mothers feet.

Laughing hysterically she entered the Slytherin common room tired, wet and happy. The rain outside had been good for one thing she was able to launch an attack on a group of Hufflepuff's without them really seeing her. Choosing not to turn into her owl form she waited behind some bushes and sent them all levitating several feet off the ground turning over and over their robes slipping over their heads "Nice pink undies" she yelled at one of them before heading back into the castle. The spell broken all three fell with loud thuds, then the crying started.

Angel was hysterical the whole way back. Pushing past a few first years Angel decided to have a seat relax a bit. Taunting kids took a lot out of a girl so she wanted to go sit in the sitting area of the common room. Not the only one she found Ella and Cairo there. "Hello ladies" she said before taking a seat watching the two wondering what they'd been up to. "Having fun tonight?"

"Oh, hello Angelique." Ella greeted with a nod. "I, for one, am not having much of a time. My proffesor expected me to do a 5 page report on typical muggle teenager electronic devices! Isn't that proposturous! Muggle studies is enough, but studying electronic devices!? That is the silliest thing I have ever heard anyone request of a Malfoy!" Ella fumed.

Normally she did not judge somebody based on pure, half, or mudblood. But this wasn't even their history, and had nothing to with witches. Of course...she did leave out the part that she had been talking in class, and that was just an extra assignment...but still! It was all poppycock!

Taking Muggle studies why would a Slytherin want to do such a thing she didn't know many Slytherins who bothered to take a class that dealt with she made a face -muggles-. Then to have the professor actually have someone research some ridiculous form of muggle, whatever it was she said she had to research.

"Tell me why would you even take that class Ella. I mean who in the world cares about learning about muggles, maybe except other muggle." Then a thought came to her. "Are you being punished or something?"

"Basically. I got kicked out of Divination, don't ask, and it was my only other option" Ella pouted.
"I also thought I might as well get it out of the way before graduation.." Ella added, leaning back on the couch, trying to calm down and relax.

"That class is pretty pointless, though, I mean, muggles are so boring!"

"Boring, pointless same thing. So you managed to get kicked out of Divination, however in the world did you manage that. Not the new professor is it I've already heard a few things about her." Angel had done a few things in her day but so far getting kicked out of a class, now that one she hadn't managed at least not yet. "So let me get this straight they're making you take that class? Your family do they know?" Who didn't know the Malfoys they were one of the oldest pureblood families around she was almost sure they wouldn't take kindly to hearing their daughter was taking a class designed to teach them about muggles, unless perhaps it was teaching them how to destroy all muggles.

Ella pondered, thinking back to the day she was kicked out of Divination class, reciting it to Angelique as she went.
"The teacher, like most of the divination teachers, is bloody insane! I sneezed in the tea leaves, and scattered them about," Ella said, thinking how her partner, Neville, cringed in suprise, and looked frightfully toward the teacher. "That wasn't all it, though. She told me to try the crystal ball, I got mad when she told me my destiny was not with the Malfoys, and...I seemed to get a bit angry when she walked away." Ella almost stopped, but knew if she was going to tell the story, the last part was essential to know. "Well, I threw the crystal ball at her...and hit her in the leg." Ella shrugged, remembering how the teacher collapsed as the globe hit her leg.

"And, no, I begged the headmaster to keep it quiet. I skip the class alot, though." Ella thought of the tragic consequences would be if her father knew.

Ella recounted the story to her and Angel listened finding it quite fascinating that someone managed to get kicked out of a class at Hogwarts. It didn't happen often actually she couldn't remember the last time she heard about it. In listening to the conversation she heard an interesting sound bite, about Ella's destiny not being with the Malfoy's. Divination wasn't an exact science but there had to be some truth in it or they wouldn't allow it to be taught at the school. As for which teacher she was referring Angel didn't know since they changed teachers like people changed their socks. The new one was supposedly a real seer, no then it couldn't have been her she wouldn't need a crystal ball to see that, plus she hadn't been injured.

Angel laughed recalling the fact that Ella had actually thrown the device at her professor. "I will admit this you've got guts girl, and a lot of luck on your side since all that happened was you getting kicked out of the class" she was sure her family had a lot to do with it, just like her family had when she had lost control. "So now you're being tortured by having to learn about filthy muggles. I would hate that more than anything. I mean who in the world cares about them and what they do, it's a mockery that they even teach that class here at school." Angel often wondered why anyone would allow that class to be part of the curriculum muggles were on the very bottom of the totem pole and should always stay there why force wizarding children of pure and noble blood to learn about them. That was one of the reasons the school lost favor with her, that and allowing muggle filth to enter its hallowed halls.

"Ew, I know!" Ella agreed. When Ella was in her natural environment, she felt comfortable, but sometimes, Evil seemed to take a human form in her if exposed to this too much.

"Why they let those mudbloods in, I have no idea." Ella shrugged her shoulders. "Too bad much of the good lucks go to them" Ella laughed, rolling her eyes.

Ella felt so fired up, she wanted to do something about it. A prank perhaps?

"My point exactly my dear. They shouldn't be here they've no right. It's just like letting someone else in on a very juicy secret someone who has no right to know what that secret is. We all see that why can't this school? If only Slytherin had stayed right where he belonged, I'm sure he would have convinced the others in his own way." Angel always thought Slytherin had been too hasty in his leaving he was all powerful and could have easily overtaken the other heads if he wanted to.

"Worse than the mudbloods is the blood traitors. They sympathize with them for what reason, I know not. They sit there and commiserate with them. It's not right not right at all."

Angel now was angry she was always angry when this topic came up, she hated it. "Now I'm all fired up I want to do something to let off some of this steam. So Ella are you busy at the moment? Maybe we can find a way to get into some trouble." Doing something naughty always made her feel so much better especially when she got away with it.
