It had been a while since Morgana had interacted with her fellow Slytherins. She had been losing touch with school gossip and this in itself was rather strange for Morgana. She usually knew every juicy piece of dirt to dish out to people, although she usually kept it to herself unless she needed to use it against someone. Her weekends had been filled up by riding back home to see her parents and prepare for the dreaded day. It was safe to say she was not looking forward to it. Sitting in her green and cream front room, between her mother Celina and her father Walter, she held her posture well, her hair tied into a bun and she wore a black skirt suit with a dark green shirt underneath. Placing her hand on one another on her lap, she looked forward with elegance, awaiting the arrival of her soon to be husband. Of course, Morgana would not just accept any old boy who looked like a sack of potatoes, hence why she was there to supervise and more likely criticize him. If he was not up to her standards, her parents would have to find a more capable candidate for her to be with for the rest of her life. After all, it was her life, and she wanted only the best.
As the doorbell rang, Her mother looked over to her father with a worried look, before looking at Morgana, who’s face did not move, not even for a change of direction. Her father stood up, and so did Morgana. As her mother did a sort of tip toe rush to the door in her high heels she looked back at them before opening the door and greeting the guests, or intruders.
“Azura, Charles, welcome! Come in come in! This must be Aleksey” She said, placing a delicate pale hand onto the boys arm as if leading him to the front room. Morgana could hear the nervousness in her mother’s voice as it faltered and every so often she stuttered. Morgana had time to roll her eyes just before turning her head as the new arrivals made their way into the room and stood in front of Morgana and her father as her mother took her place back to where she stood in front of the sofa. They all seemed to mirror each other, with Azura in front of Celina, Charles in front of Walter, and Aleksey stood eye level with Morgana. She looked at what may become her husband in the oncoming future, and he was what she expected. He was okay to look at, but he did not make the greatest first impression when he shook her hand like she was a fellow quidditch player or his best boy friend. As he jiggled her arm, she couldn’t pull hers out of his grasp quick enough before turning her head to his father, placing her hand in his and curtseying in greeting, in which she turning and did the same to Azura. His mother looked simply distraught when Aleksey almost pulled Morgana’s arm out of socket, and it seemed by the look on her face that their luck had just run out and they might as well return home. Morgana had already decided that he was not gentlemanly enough to be by her side, nor was he anything like her. Especially after she caught a glimpse of him leaving the bathroom door open as she walked past and giving her a thumbs up with both hands. What a beast.
“Thank you for coming” Morgana said, giving an easily fake smile as she waved off the intruders from the front door with etiquette and grace. As they flew off out of sight, Morgana’s face changed from a polite smile to an angered being. “MOTHER!...MOTHER” She screeched. As her mother appeared with a small glass of brandy from the kitchen, her light brown hair bouncing around her shoulder as she walked, she threw on a puppy like face. “Mor” “I don’t want to hear it. Do you really think that less of me to want to shackle me to that for the rest of my life?”
“No dear, I thought he would be such a nice bo-“ “No mother, you think I’d just go off with anybody. I’m disgusted” she grimaced as her father appeared, stuffing his fat moustached face with a biscuit or two before Morgana crumbled into his chest. As he stroked her hair to comfort her, she gave a small smile. She could always rely on her daddy. He was her rock. “Celina, you could of chosen a better lad for our only daughter. We’re only going to get to do this once, and we want the best for our Beautiful pumpkin don’t we?” he directed the last part more to Morgana as he lifted her chin, and she gave a nod. He gave her a reassuring smile before looking up at the tall grandfather clock and noticing the time. “Cor blimey! We’d better get you back to school hadn’t we dear?!” He said, mouth half full with biscuit crumbs as they fell out and sprayed everywhere showing his surprise at the time ticking so fast. Morgana stood up fully straight once again, and the butler came downstairs right on cue with her luggage all freshly packed and lead it to the front door. Her father had rushed off for a moment and soon came trotting back in with an envelope stuffed to burst. “Here you go dear. Just to tide you over and make sure you can get everything you need and a little treat or two for yourself” he said, swiftly giving her the envelope to hide in her bag from her mother. She hugged him in thanks and her dad gave a cheerful smile at his daughter who he was extremely proud of. “Have fun when you get back, and make sure you-“ “Study hard, yes daddy. Goodbye Mother” she waved as she walked out the door and into the car in which the butler held the door open for her. The car ride to London wasn’t far but it was boring. As the door shut, she pulled the window down in time to see her mother join her father at the entrance to the mansion door. “You must think i’m daft, as if an envelope is concealing the bursting wad of money inside it” “Sorry dear” he muttered back to Celina as the car started and began to drive away.
Pulling up at the school after the arduous trek from London to Scotland, Morgana dragged her suitcase up the main doors and looked at the bustling school entrance for a moment. For a split second she wondered if anyone here had really missed her, but most of the students were just gutted that she had come back. Looking into the great hall, it was half full and it seemed she had arrived just in time for the start of dinner...

Jay had been at home for little over two weeks now, his mother thought it would be best if Jay was at home, that way she would have time to preen her blue eyed son. Jay was set to be married off soon, though his parents knew if Jay didnt like what he saw he would not take too well to it and would more than likely refuse the proposal. He wasnt one to tiptoe around peoples feelings, when he said something Jayden Wyatt bloody well meant it. Though he was usually silent as he rarely spoke, though when he did his voice commanded attention and everyone in the room listened to him.
He was stood in his room in the Manor, quite unaware of the terrible afternoon ahead of him. Slicking back his hair, his mother came in to preen Jay some more, straighten down his collar, help with the tie of hsi suit and give him a brand new emerald throwover. It was basically a cape you put over your shoulder, that ties with a thin rope around your neck. His blue eyes scanned himself in the mirror and he scowled. "What's the matter Jayden?" His mother asked as she made sure his hair was perfect, which it always was, "I look like some form of Muggle Roman Emporer." Jay seethed, "I look disgusting." Jay unwrapped the throw over and threw it on the bed before exchanging his black suit for dark green dress robes. His mother didnt look too impressed but she knew better than to question Jay's wishes, especially today since he was meant to be meeting the person he was spending the rest of his life with. Or potentially anyway, and Jay wanted to look how he wanted to look, not how someone told him to look.
He walked downstairs intime to see two people he did not recognise, he assumed this to be the bride's mother and father, so where the soon to be bride was, Jayden didnt know. Until he realised, as he stood on the stairs, his own father had taken to show her around. "Ah, Jayden there you are," He smiled, "Come on down to meet the Ravenstiens" Jay scowled slightly, before putting on his best attempt at a smile, shaking the father's hand and lightly kissing the top of the mothers, Jayden simply said, "It is a pleasure to meet you both," No sooner had Jay said this, his father turned up with the daughter. As she looked at the paintings, Jay thought she looked alright from behind, long blonde curls, and a lean figure. However when the blonde turned to face him, Jay nearly gagged. She was the most grotesque person Jay had ever had the displeasure of locking eyes on. Judging by his mothers, 'Oh my!' in her shocked tone, she had never met her either. "This is Amalia Ravenstein!" His dad introduced, and with a slight sick feeling, Jay allowed himself to kiss the top of her hand, which was extreamly dry. Jay furrowed his brow and soon they were all sitting down to a splended dinner the house elves made.
It would appear Amalia wouldnt eat anything but fake meat, no wonder her skin was so dry. Jay listened to the chatter going on around him and almost chocked on his lobster when Amalia's mother said Jay and Malia's children would be so good looking. Yeah if they get my looks and not hers. Jay thought to himself. Though after the millionth baby name, Jay lightly cleared his thought and whispered an "Excuse me," Before leaving the table and heading upto his room to pack up his trunk ready to leave for school tomorrow. He was wondering if Morgana was having an awful time like he was, or if she had found a perfect husband. Though he knew Morgana and he knew how fussy she was, he doubted even he would be able to please her. As that thought entered his mind, Jay found himself laughing. They would never be in that situation together, however funny it might have been.
Around Ten that night, his mother came up to tell Jay the Ravensteins had gone. Jay sighed and thanked the heavens for that, before throwing himself rather haphazardly on his bed. He felt drained and he hadnt worked out once in these two weeks due to his mother constantly wanting Jay to discuss seating arrangements and things for the wedding, he hadnt even said yes to this woman yet. "So?" His mother asked him as Jay's father joined them, "What did you think?" Jay slowly sat up and looked at them, running a hand through his hair before speaking, "Honestly? That girl was..." Jay furrowed his brow, "I am too good a guy to voice what I thought and the language would not be appropriate." He looked at his parents before lying back down, "There will be no wedding to Amalia, I refuse the proposal." It took around an hour for Jay to get it to sink into his parents heads that he wouldnt be marrying Amalia, which meant his father would have to get in touch with the Ravensteins and tell them.
The next day, Jay was more than ready to go back to Hogwarts and forget this whole sorry episode, it was two weeks of his life that was wasted and he would never get back. True, he was not marrying for love but he had to marry someone he was attracted too, but spending so much time around the beauty's of some of the Slytherin Population, and the fact he thought himself to be a catch, his standards were high. The drive from Wales to Scotland was long and tedious, but Jay had time to think about things and he had left the next choice of brides to his mother, who had some form of tase in looks. Jay should have left it to her in the first place, he trusted her when it came to the female population. Jay must have dozed off because the next time he heard voices, he was pulling upto Hogwarts. "Jay, dont forget to study hard and make sure you eat right. Dont worry too much and try not to--" Jay held up his hand, "Stop being such a worrier mother, you just worry about finding me someone who is not a complete eyesore and I'll worry about my studies and well being." His mother smiled, "I shall see you in the Holidays."
With that, Jay walked off, and no sooner had he began walking he was greeted by the gaggle of girls who constantly followed him around. Rubbing his brow, Jay ignored them as usual and made his way to the great hall where he spotted Morgana. Taking a seat next to her he took a goblet of pumpkin juice and said, "Please tell me your introduction to your future husband was better than my introduction to my future wife?" Sticking a knife into some meat and watching the blood seep from it, suddenly feeling sick, Jay took a piece of toast. "Hello Jayden." Came the annoying giggle from some of the girls who sat infront of him, "Whatever" Jay said and began picking at his food as the girls left.

Walking into the great hall, Morgana’s eyes scanned over all the familiar faces from the various years and houses that she had come to hate. Letting go her luggage outside the door, she strutted into the hall with the all too familiar grand entrance that she was famous for. Pulling off her long black jacket as she walked down the middle of the room, she turned and flung her coat onto the bench and sat next to it as it landed. Giving a large sigh as she sat on the bench, she tapped her fingers in sequence on the wooden table in front of the food. She forgot how good the food was at home, and how mediocre it was back at Hogwarts, but still, she had to eat if she didn’t want to die of starvation. Giving another sigh, smaller than the first, she looked down the slytherin table to see only a handful of younger slytherins present. Unimpressed with the lack of company, she wondered what had happened to Ricky and Erys. Since Christmas they had been going off on their own and being all loved up. At the time, Morgana thought it best to get the sexual tension over and done with with the pair, but it seemed they were in it for the long haul, and now Morgana had pushed herself out of the trio. Still, it was no big deal, they all had their own thing to contend with and they could soon pick up where they left off. 'Come to think of it, Jay had a ‘meeting’ with his newbie wife around about the same time I had with my, not-to-be future husband’ she thought to herself as she twiddled a fork between her thumb and forefinger. As the minutes past as she recollected the meeting between her and Aleksey, how violently he shook her hand. Shook, not even kissed. Filthy male. The thought of spending the rest of her life stood next to him was ghastly, and so was his face. How her mother could of thought she would want to be with that, she would never understand. ‘Still, at least I have a big wad of cash to go and blow next weekend, perhaps on a few new specially made items from Queens Apparel’
Looking back down the table at the variety of foods, she strained her neck to look over a rather large turkey. As a plate appeared in front of her, she pulled out her wand from her jumper sleeve and flicked it over at the turkey, some roast potatoes and plenty of vegetables. As the ingredients of her dinner came floating towards her, they gently placed themselves on her plate. The smell wafted up her nose, and she fully realised how hungry she was. Reaching for the gravy jug, she poured some onto her dinner before placing it back down and reaching for the salt. It seemed that the past year had been a weird one for her as she had made some more friends and she was not alone anymore, but now it seemed to have done a full circle and she was back to being alone once more. It was a strange feeling, but one she was used to.
‘Tamaria? Amalia? Her name was something like that. I wonder if they’ve set a date yet?’ Morgana wondered as she stabbed at her turkey unknowingly. In truth, she was possibly a bit jealous. Jay would probably have the perfect blonde wife who was flawless, who would hang on his every word, and they would produce the perfect kids, and she’d be stuck with some fat spotty oaf who didn’t know left from right. She wondered on whether karma of sorts was paying her back for all the ‘evil doings’ she had done. As she drifted off into her thoughts of Jay shacked up with the missus, she continues stabbing at the turkey as a familiar voice interrupted her. As she looked up to see Jayden sat next to her, she couldn’t help but smile.
“Possibly not. Mine was like a troll’s end, just like I expected. How was your Barbie doll?” she said as her smile turned into a smirk. It was then she stopped stabbing her turkey.

“Possibly not. Mine was like a troll’s end, just like I expected. How was your Barbie doll?”
"Only good thing about her was her hair." Jay told her as he picked at his food. "Looking at her from behind she was perfect, lean body, long blonde hair, but facing her was something different entirely" Jay shuddered at the memory, "Her eyes too big for her face and a dull blue. Her teeth were like a rabbits, her face awfully round and her skin, eugh. Dont even get me started. Dry, blotchy, spotty... Enough to turn me gay that one was." Though both Jay and Morgana knew that Jay would never turn gay. "I've put my mother in charge, considering my father was completley useless."
Draining some of his pumpkin juice he looked to Morgana. The blonde haired Slytherin boy thought back to the disaster back home and hoped his mother was giving his father a good piece of her mind, considering she didnt like the female either. Honestly, she had looked like a male with long hair. One of these punk people or whatever they were. "Safe to say I refused. What about you? Have you set a date yet?"
Utter disaster.
As more people joined the table, Jay shut up speaking, seeing Erys and Ricky further down the table, he nodded his head in their direction. The couple of Slytherin, probably the only two who knew how not to make Jay gag. Jay put his hands in his pocket and pulled out a photo taken at the Manor of Himself and the shemale. Passing it to Morgana he said, "Like I would be caught dead with that"

As Morgana listened to Jay's complete disaster of a woman, she couldn't help but scoff behind her fork before putting the forkful of carrot into her mouth. Raising her eyebrows, she smiled as she chewed and waited a moment before she spoke.
"Her hair? Out of everything that could possibly be nice on her it was just...her...hair?" Morgana chuckled, highly amused, before she shut herself up as she realised hers was just as bad. "Well at least there was one good point about her, Mine was just awful. Why his parents didn't kill him at birth is beyond me" she sighed.
She was glad she had finished swallowing before she heard Jay say she was enough to turn him gay, otherwise she would of spat it everywhere. "You? Gay? Don't get me started Jay. You could never be gay within a month of sundays!" she said, catching him greeting Ricky and Erys, and unknowingly, she didn't see them before hand, so she too gave a nod in greeting and a small wave of her empty fork. Stabbing the turkey, she cut a small piece before continuing to eat it.
"Well, for some reason, My mother picked the little runt, so now it's up to father to find someone. If he doesn't find someone, then it's up to grandma, and she's even worse than mother". She began to wonder whether she would ever get married. It wasn't the usual thing that sixteen year olds worried about, but when you were pureblood and slytherin, it was all you worried about. "There's no date set, not for him anyway" "And what on earth is that!?" she pointed at the picture he pulled out from his pocket. Morgana bit her lip trying to control her laughter before looking up to Jay and it eventually bursting from her. "That's one ugly girl. I have no picture of mine thankfully, he broke the camera lens" she joked.

"Just her hair." Jay mused, a smirk tugging at his lips, now it was over he had time to sit back and think about it, he did indeed find the whole situation quite amusing. Though it wasnt when it was happening, now he realised how truely dense his father was and how little taste in women he actually had. Anyone Wesley Wyatt thought was beautiful, you could bet then and there they were an eyesore. Though Jay began to feel a bit better when Morgana began to tell him of her disasterous meeting. At least it wasnt only him, one good thing that could be said. Laughing was something Jay seldom did, but he found himself laughing at Morgana's statement about the parens killing the boy at birth.
"I know that," Jay smirked, "But she is enough to have sent Salazar Slytherin himself gay, not to mention Voldemort would have fallen for Potter if he saw the state on who my father expected me to betroth myself to." Smirking again, he couldnt believe his father thought Jay would have been happy with her. Eugh. Who did he think Jay was, a settle-for-second best sort of guy. No. Only would Jay have what he considered to be the best for himself. If he wasnt happy, he wouldnt do it.
"Well sounds like your pretty screwed then," Jay laughed. "Though maybe your family is opposite to mine, maybe your father has taste whereas mine does not." True, usual people at their age did not worry about Marriage, but Jay was seventeen and by eighteen he should be married according to his mother and father. Well it was looking less and less likely he was going to be, but he wasnt about to settle with someone who was downright ugly to look upon was he? "That is my bride," Jay said, "Or she was supposed to be, obviously I would not settle with her, goodness no." Deciding a change of subject was in order, Jay tried to think of something else to talk about. "And!" He added, "My parents were so busy with me that I didnt have time to work out, A whole two weeks and not one push up!" Poking his stomache, it was still hard thankfully, "I have a lot to catch up on."

Looking back over to Erys and Ricky, the new loved up couple, Morgana was just glad they weren't slobbering all over each other and they kept matters like that in private. Of course she didn't care for the odd kiss or hug between people, but when you had to sit and watch someone sucking the head off another, it reminded her more of squids than people, and it just wasn't nice to see. Picking up a pee, she flicked it over to the couple to get their attention before giving them a small smirk like smile. Hey, at least it was better than just an aquaintence-like nod right?
Observing the photograph of the girl who looked awfully like a centaur, probably as hairy, Morgana scrunched up her face before pushing it away back to Jay so she didn't have to pull faces at her anymore. "At least she has one thing going for her. Couldn't you just marry her from behind?" Morgana blurted about, before realising it could sound rude, and Morgana burst out into laughter. Shocked at herself, she stopped, quite scared of where the outburst of the giggles came from, before carrying on snickering into her glass of water. Taking a gulp of water in attempt to calm herself, she looked away from Jay again and down at her plate, realising she'd hardly ate anything. She was starving, but being at home again she got used to the quality of the food, and coming back here was a huge downgrade food wise.
"I know i'm screwed. I knew I was probably going to end up all old and wrinkly with no kids and no husband, this just proves it's going to happen Jay, i'm used to the idea. I'm indifferent" she said while shrugging. Morgana always believed she would lead a lonely life, in truth, she always thought her temper would get the better of her and she would end up doing something awful and get set to Azkaban, a future in which she accepted, even embraced, but the past week or so, her temper had calmed down tenfold, but for how long she was unsure.
"Well i'll always come and sit on you if you want to work out extra hard"
