Rebecka had ventured out onto the edges of the forest. It was around six in the afternoon and not many people were outside. Rebecka figured this was down to the cold time of year. She wondered if the people who resided in this castle knew just how lucky they were to have a warm escape. Whereas people like Becki had to stay out in the cold, day after day, night after night. Not really having anywhere to turn to. She was leaning against a tree, though somewhat hidden. She could see no Ministry officials around anywhere so she figured they must either be further inside the forest, back at the Ministry or in the warmth of the Castle. She found it rather distasteful how some organisation so corrupt could be able to live the life of luxery and not give a second thought to those who werent, to those who still had morals. To those who genuinly were fighting the good fight. Though unfortunatly, Becki knew this was no longer enough. Everyone like Becki was deemed a criminal now, she would not be half surprised if there was a bounty on every Rogue wizards head. It wouldnt surprise her in the least.
She felt sick when she thought that she had to stand on the edge of a dirty forest and watch as everyone else lived their lives. Her thoughts were sour, her feelings ran deep. Becki too had a life, once upon a time, she was a normal girl. Had a family and was in love too. Though everything was ripped from her, taken, without so much as a second thought. How can people who did things like that sleep at night. They cant feel as though they are doing the right thing could they? Rebecka's village had never done anything wrong, they lived the life of peace. Not the life of law breaking or war waging. This was one thing Becki would not rest until she had resolved, she couldnt. Even if she was killed, would she rest easily? Or would her ghost come back as she would still have ties to this world. She couldnt rest, not easily, knowing what they had done. Not only to her, but to everyone. What they were going to do to others in the future. She didnt understand how nobody else could see their corruption, were people really this blind? Or were they just ignorant and didnt want anything to do with it? Becki knew one day they would have to have something to do with it, by choice, or force, that was their decision.

May had to get out of the castle, she was sick of the looks some of the rogue-supporting students gave her and the cat-calls she heard behind her back. All she even came to the castle for was her job in Magical Games to talk to the Flying coach. She wasn't one of the ministry people hunting down and rudely slaughtering innocent rogues yet she was treated like she was. Ministry's public name had gotten lower than low lately, it was as if she were a heartless barbarian.
Mayella walked through the grounds with her jacket wrapped tight around her and her hands deep in her pockets. She quickly remembered her reason for being in the ministry. Ministry people get paid; rogues don't. Walking to the lake she sat down on a rock and let her foot tap the ice a bit. --What was that? A movement by the tree. The gently gripped her wand in her pocket, it looked like a rogue. May would never attack first, but she wouldn't just stand there in the face of danger if they started anything.
"Who goes there?" She said as calmly as she could. May knew there weren't many Ministry workers that patrolled this section of the forest so she had no danger in sounding threatless (is that a word?) to the rogue witch. She kept her attention at alert for the sound of an incoming patrol though, not wanting to risk her Ministry job that she relied on for keeping her apartment.
[sucky postage.]

Rebecka knew plenty of people supported the Rougue's cause, and for that she was grateful. In her eyes, she didnt need to be paid for what she did, she didnt even need support she was doing this because of what the Ministry had done to her. Though it was always rewarding to know that your efforts were noticed and that some people did stick behind you, even if they wouldnt do it openly for fear of what the ministry would do to them.
Becka found this tiresome...
She was sick of the threats of the Ministry, she was sick of how they treated others, this included children. All the Ministry cared for was themselves and how much money they were getting. Or how much power they held over the people. Though if Becki could have anything to do with it, this power would surely diminish. She was tired of being hunted down like some criminal. If they wanted Rebecka, she was right here. She was reckless, but she had no information on any of the other Rogues so she wouldnt be much use for anything like that, meaning the Veritaserum would not work on her if they were looking for the whereabouts of other rogues.
'Who goes there'. She heard the three words and looked up, there someone was. Too old to be a student, too stone faced to be a Professor. Ministry Becki thought and narrowed her eyes. She wasnt about to tell this person her name, so she simply said, "What's it to ya?" She was still a Ministry official, no doubt about that, and she wasnt going to say anything that might endanger her. She was new around here, so chances were, the Ministry did not yet know her name, or who she was.

May turned a bit to face the other woman better. Hostility, it was to be expected since she was obviously ministry; it had a certain glow or scent that a rogue could detect a mile away. "Doesn't matter, I guess, not going to report you or anything. I just wanted to see if you'd respond, or if you were going to try and sneak up on me." She usually found that being honest won more battles than insulting or overreacting, even if it took a lot more effort to keep her cool when people treated her like trash.
May crossed her legs and took her hands out of her pockets to rest them in her lap. "I wouldn't expect many patrols to pass these parts at this time of day, they don't like to bother the students in their last hours of time before they're locked into their common rooms." May sighed at length when she remembered why she was explaining this to the woman in the first place. Corrupted ministry that she was a part of, it just turned her into a bad person in everyone's eyes. All her efforts lately have been to clear her name, and most have been ineffective. Rogues won't listen to a Ministry woman, because she's automatically a power-crazed maniac even if she's in a small department.
[blah, I have to go..]

Well that was new, a Ministry Official who wasnt going to report a Rogue? Or was she only telling Rebecka that to try and trick her. Becki kept hold of her wand tightly and she wasnt going to let go of it, nor was she going to trust this woman, no matter how decent she tried to make herself out to be, she was still part of the Ministry. Nothing that she could say was going to change that. "I had no intentions of sneaking up on you" Becka told her, as much fun as it sounded she didnt really want to attack this woman in front of the Lake when anyone could happen to walk by. Rebecka was reckless, but she wasnt stupid.
"You are to have me believe that the Ministry would feel something for other people?" Becka questioned, though you could hear the slight humour in her voice. "Or is it because they do not want a load of students hellraising on them? Yes, i do think that would be more to the point" Becka didnt trust this woman, it seemed to her as though she was trying to redeem herself, and redemption could not be earned by simple words. "Locked in their common rooms, by the ministry i assume" Now they were getting to it, the Ministry liked to have power over the future generation who could clear overpower them. Becki sighed, she kept to the shadows as to hide most of herself. Somehow this woman seemed to be innocent, yet she was still part of the Ministry and that was not about to change. It didnt matter how good you were, if you were linked with the ministry you were just as bad.
((Haha okay! Bye))
