[Corridors] Quiet Corridor

Enough was enough seriously couldn't anyone behave just because they were down to the wire before finals everyone was acting foolish. Small explosions were being set all around the common room thanks to joke products ordered through the mail from Zonkos. One genius even decided to light a fire cracker in the room and almost set the couch on fire. Their head of house actually had to pay them a visit and tell them to keep it down.

In a normal situation she would have taken solace in her room but that just could not happen because her roommate was the inconsiderate queen of the world. At this moment she was in there with her radio blaring some annoying pop ballad meanwhile her annoying owl who suddenly had to spend all day in their room pooping and hooting was yet again flying around the room dropping feathers all over her bed.

Kendal didn't even like going in there anymore. She thought of complaining but as usual hated to make waves so she toughed it out, but this was getting out of hand. She wanted to lay down but couldn't even do that. Lately all she was doing was hanging out somewhere in the school. Sometimes the library, sometimes the grounds, today well it would probably be in the hallway.

Wandering around aimlessly she could still hear all the students making noise so much noise. So she walked faster and faster going this way and that until finally she had no idea where she was. She had been a student there for so long but sometimes even she got lost. This corridor was empty and there wasn't a peep to be heard almost as if it was abandoned. Kendal looked around wide eyed and wondering where she ended up.

That's when she heard the footsteps, she uttered a curse under her breath hoping that it wasn't some annoying little kid who wanted to annoy her because this time she might just be in the mood to hex someone. She was getting really good at the bat bogey hex her roommate was her first guinea pig though she didn't know it since it was while she was asleep.

Scratching his head with the tip of his quill, Brooke and a few others including Bryn were hoddled around a table in the Gryffindor Common Room, trying to get through stacks of Essays. Bryn's brain was becoming seriously tired and he needed a pick me up, but he knew if he didnt get this essay done by tomorrow he would be in some trouble. Finally, after nearly knocking his inkwell over, he stood up, announcing he was off for a walk. Walking upto his dorm, he took his jacket and his wand, in case he went outside or in case he ran into more Slytherins who wanted to test their luck with Bryn or Brooke this week. It had been rather eventful, Brook had been drunk, gotten into fights. Bryn had conquered his fear and gotten into fights. Highly entertaining, so why was today dull?

The corridors were surprisingly less full than usual, though, now he thought about it, it didnt come as that much of a surprise considering everyone was studying somewhere or another. His black leather jacket hung limply over his shoulder as he walked through the corridors. All he wanted to do was have a good time, he was craving an adventure, whether it was big or small he didnt care, but he wanted to have some form of fun and do something. The more he studied, the more he felt like he was losing himself. He had even jumped up and danced on a table singing the Pokemon Theme Tune just to make sure he still had a sense of fun in him.

His footfall echoed around the corridor, bouncing off the wall, his grey eyes were narrowed as he walked with his arms swingly lightly by his side. Rounding a corner he passed a bunch of Slytherins, Bryn didnt say a thing to them, as they didnt to him, only looked at him. Bryn wasnt with Brooke today which was strange as the twins were hardly apart, their family didnt get them how they could communicate without anybody knowing what the hell they were on about. Bryn thought it was amazing and highly useful in situations.

As he rounded yet another corner, Bryn almost collided with someone, his jacket fell from his shoulder, thankfully he caught it. He would have gone mad if his leather Jacket got dust on it. When it came to his jacket he was like a girl, highly protective over it and the only person who had worn it was Cairo when Bryn and Brooke helped her when a bunch of Slytherins attacked her. He wondered now if she was alright and made a mental note to go and look for her later, but right now, he was stood infront of a brown haired girl he recognised as Kendal.

"Y'alright?" The welsh boy asked, "Sorry about that, wasnt paying attention."

Kendal started to wonder if the footsteps she heard might just belong to some Slytherins. It seems that each and every time she ventured out alone in this school she ran into some. Somehow she seemed to have forgotten that when she walked out of the common room. Now though she recalled that fateful day in the dungeons. Perhaps that was her own fault most kids avoided the dungeons at all costs or unless they were in a large group. Slytherins like their snake counterparts enjoyed laying in wait for their prey.

Already Kendal's heart began to beat faster, her hands suddenly started to shake. It had been that way ever since the incident with Erys and Morgana. Sometimes she jumped at the sound of her own breathing. So now she was wandering around alone and someone was coming this time there was no where for her to hide.

She thought maybe just maybe if she made a run for it she could avoid getting hexed or something like it. So she prepared herself to sprint across the hall as the footsteps got closer. As she made her way past the edge of the wall she ran smack dab into someone else.

This was bloody brilliant, not what she wanted at all. She took several deep calming breaths before looking up to see the person she knocked into. It was Bryn and she suddenly felt so much better. Her shaking stopped, and her nerves left her. "Oh man that's alright I'm just glad its you and not someone else."

She couldn't explain to him her irrational fear nor would she even bother trying. As far as she was concerned he wasn't a Slytherin and he wasn't going to attack her for no good reason.
