Valentine’s day. What a waste of a day. It was disgusting to see couples smooching in corners and holding hands and being all lovey-dovey on the best of days, but for some reason, one day a year was dedicated to it and it made it all the more obvious. Why this day existed, Morgana would never know, it disgusted her. The castle had been decorated with all things pink and red, and love hearts were sprawled along every castle wall, and heart shaped balloons suspended in mid air were dotted all over the place. The castle had become a girly parlour. How lame.
As she descended the stairs into the main entrance, that stern face set, pulling out her wand, she popped the love heart balloons that were tied to the railings to hear groans coming from a few people. Ignoring their remarks, she flicked her wand carelessly at the wall to where a picture of two cupids were kissing, for it soon to be changed into two wolves fighting till the death., blood strewn over the banner as they battled. Smirking at her work, she reached the last step and turned herself, unsure of whether to see what monstrocity they had produced in the great hall, or just to go and starve in the dungeons. Deciding against the latter, she caught a sneak peek at the inside of the great hall, and the ugly fluffiness made her turn away and lift her nose high, absolutely appauled about the decor. How badly she wanted to burst in and change the colours to dark and all the pictures to death scenes.
Looking back to where she was going, she began to descend the stairs to the dungeon.

These were exactly the kinds of days Jay did not like to wake up for. Though in a way he was glad it was not christmas since girls liked to stand under mistletoe and try to trap you underneath it. It's a little bit disturbing when you think about it, and just imagine all the horrible insects that live inside those evil plants. He lay in bed for a few more minutes just staring at the top of the four poster bed, Jayden hated valentines day, and not because he always spent it alone, which he did but mainly out of choice, but because of the ridiculous amount of smooching couples, it was the same every year. The castle would be decorated for The Season Of Love in stupid pink hearts and all things horrible and fluffy, and no matter where you went you were stuck with the smooching couples. Jay probably wouldnt have minded so much if he couldnt hear the slurping sounds, sometimes he wondered if these people were kissing or if they were eating each other.
With a sigh, Jay pulled himself out of his bed, his hands holding his head up as he sat on the end of it. Luckily the Slytherins had not yet decorated the common room, it would have given him a headache if the first thing he saw was something bright and pink when he opened his eyes. He pulled on some jeans and a shirt, it was a holiday so uniform wasnt really needed. He gelled back his hair easily, went for a wash, picked his wand up then headed into the common room itself. He would have thought about staying, to avoid all the pinkness, though when he got there, the usual gaggle of stupid girls were there and once they saw him they smiled and chimed a Happy Valentines Day to him, which he wrinkled his nose at and walked out. Pink and fluffy were better than stupid females.
He was hungry, but if the decor in the Great Hall was anything to go by, he wouldnt be going there. Though he thought he would check to see if they had toned it down this year, and by the time he got there, it was still pink, fluffy, horrible and a smooch fest. Jay suddenly felt sick so decided against jam on toast and took a walk down into the dungeons instead. When he got there, he found a Slytherin girl, smooching with a Ravenclaw boy, well this angered Jayden, "You filthy little blood traitor!" He snarled, pointing his wand into the females face, obviously he would not hex her, he had been brought up better than that, he would call them to the death but he would never hurt a girl, even if it was a girl from another House, he saved the girls of other houses for the more ruthless women in Slytherin and Jay just took the guys out. Looking at the boy, he hexed him instead, huge boils appeared on his face, looking at the girl he smirked, "Bet you dont like him now, do you?" He laughed, "You're lucky I dont hex females, or you would be looking the same." As he left, the girl yelled back, "Your evil Jayden Wyatt!"
"That I am dear, and bloody good at it!"
Though his thoughts were cut short once he appeared infront of the brown haired beaut known as Morgana. A smirk filled his face, he wondered if she had heard the commotion just a moment ago, but he didnt ask, instead he just nodded his head slowly in greeting and simply said, "Morgana," Smirk, "Pleasure"

Turning down the stairs, she heard the raised voice of Jay Wyatt. His voice was recognisable due to being quite deep compared to the rest of the losers, and the distinct accent that was easy to accustom yourself to. Besides, his bright blonde hair and blue eyes were also unmissable, he was rather nice to look at. Stopping on the stairs, wanded hand on the cold stone wall, one foot was on a lower step. Observing him Hex a Ravenclaw boy, she flicked her eyes over to the Slytherin smirking at the good hex that he had just recieved. As she noticed the girl was a slytherin, she instantly fumed, and flew down the stairs and pointed the wand at the girl.
"He may not hex you, but I sure as hell will. Densaugeo!" She spat, and the girl's teeth soon started growing at an abnormal rate. The girl look horrified and looked over to the Ravenclaw with her horse teeth. Covering her mouth with her hands, she began to drool and it hit the floor. The ugly little wench. "Happy Valentine's day beautiful" she laughed out of spite. This day was turning out to be fun after all. Turning back to Jay, she raised her eyebrow and gave a small nod of her head.
"Jayden, the pleasure's all mine". The pair were pretty much alike, but a lot of slytherins were, but both had a certain attitude that they shared. Both were better than the rest of the scum in Hogwarts.
"I see your hexing hasn't gone out of practice" she said, waving her wand around to the Ravenclaw who was making a swift exit up the stairs with the slytherin. Twisting around, Morgana scowled at the girl, and she ducked her head in shame.
"Disgusting, bloody house traitor. That view was unbearable" she said, a frown placed upon her face along with her signature pout.

A small laugh escaped Jay when Morgana came bounding over, she just couldnt miss out on the fun could she. A perfect performance by Jayden Wyatt and Morgana Croft. One was covered in boils, the other's teeth were growing really fast which always made Jayden laugh. Though if she wanted to sort them out she had better hurry to the hospital wing before they grew too long and they were dragging across the floor, and somehow Jay believed that would be painful.
Speaking of painful, he had just had the most painful experiance of his life seeing that Slytherin girl locking lips with that ravenclaw. Though if he could keep on hexing people on valentines day, maybe this day wouldnt be as bad as he thought it would be. Certainly, it got brighter the moment he heard Morgana screech at the Slytherin, she was a lot like Jay, she had no patience or tolerance for Blood Traitors. Which was always a bonus on his mind.
"I see yours has not either," Jay smirked, for as far as friends go, despite the fact that Jay did not class anyone as a friend, Morgana was good enough to get along with and her hexwork was superb. Though he distanced himself when he thought people were becoming too close to him, it was just the way Jay was. "Which is always a good thing on a day like today." He added meaning Valentines day.
"That was enough to send my stomach reeling," He spoke coldly, putting a hand on his stomach, "Wait, it did send it reeling." He looked back up to where the students left, "She will be getting hell off me later on, mark my words."

Ah, Densaugeo. The perfect hex for Morgana to perform on the little weed. There would surely be no more kissing going on with the likes of them, a Slytherin and a Ravenclaw indeed. Absolutely appalling. For the girl to even bring the Ravenclaw into Slytherin territory was bad enough, but it was plain stupidity to go and kiss him down there in plain sight of other Slytherins, well the girl must have been extremely dumb.
Giving a small sigh, Morgana looked around her surroundings, the walls in which she had become so familiar with that held rather Slytherin like portraits and banners. So much for others houses coming down here, they were obviously stupid, not brave. Not once has she come across a stray student from another house down there that didn’t go running scared out of the dungeons. They should realize not to get caught down there, or even go down there, unless it was to quickly enter potions class.
“What is it with blood traitors? Honestly, does nobody but us two have morals anymore? I’d rather die than be stuck onto someone other than a purebloods face. The thought of it is ghastly” she frowned, and the thought of it caused her to stick her tongue out as if she were about to be sick. What a way to betray your house and blood. Stupid teenagers.
It was true, both Morgana and Jayden were the ‘posh’ slytherins, both families as rich as each other, they were never short of money, and both believed themselves better because of it. It was the truth, they were better, and they both knew it. She was hot-headed, however Jayden always seemed to be the clever one, and more cunning. Yes, he was a great slytherin and nothing but the greatest was expected of him from Morgana. He was sure to do great things with his life.
“I should expect so. Dirty little traitor. There seem to be more everyday Jayden, Just a month of so ago, I almost killed a dirty little slytherin who dared stand against me, and his trampy little girlfriend who was betraying us. She apparently didn’t know, but I beg to differ” she explained, knowing if he was there he would of come up with some superb plan to get them both back. It seemed Jayden was the brains, and Morgana the braun…In most cases anyway.

Who cared what spell you used as long as it worked? Jay certainly didnt, he was happy with his hex, it made that Ravenclaw run for the hills anyway, or wherever his kind came from. Jayden watched the girls hair flowing behind her as she ran, with a smirk and a sligh 'Tsk Tsk' sound, Jay shook his head. Least he knew one thing now, that Ravenclaw wouldnt be down here again any time soon, and you could guarentee that Slytherin wouldnt be up in the common room any time soon either. To which Jay found himself a little disgruntled as he would have liked to carry this fued on a little more. Typical. Once you find something fun to do, they always seem to run away, what was the point?
Nowhere in the castle, asides from the common room, felt more homely to Jay than the dungeons did. He knew every inch of them, he knew all the trick bricks and knew about a certain brick in the centre of the dungeons you had to avoid. It had taken him a good few times to remember which one it was, but that area, once you got further in, went underneath the lake so naturally it was dark and damp down there, with the musty smell of some old huge Manor, not to mention a bit of moss. Though if you stood on that brick, it opened a trick brick above you, the lake's water would come crashing down on your head until you took your foot off the brick. Those were some funny days, he'd go out of the common room and everyone knew Jay hated swimming so he would avoid it as much as humanly possible, though he had only been out of the dorm ten minutes and came back drenched, yet it was sunny outside. That had had over half the common room in hysterics. Though he told them what happened, he didnt tell them where the brick was, and many more people came back drenched.
"It is true there are only a select few of us left who have morals." Jay spat as he turned to Morgana, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning n the stone wall. He nodded in agreement, Jay wouldnt perhaps prefer to die, he liked to live, he'd maybe chew his arm off but wouldnt die, asides from disease he would get off them of course, that might kill him. Not that it mattered, he avoided that situation at all costs. "Some people just do not have any respect for themselves."
Both Jay's and Morgana's lives were ruled by their parents up to a certain point, planning their futures and all that kind of rubbish. Jay had pretty much whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted as long as he stuck to the rules, which he did of course no arguments there. Both their families we're into the whole idea of arranged Marriages. Jay's mother and father hadnt met until a month before their wedding which was when they were both eighteen, Jay always knew he would never choose his bride, and like his mother and father, it was doubtful he would ever love the girl either. Though the point was, it was principle. Jayden would have to marry a bride his mother and father chose for him or else risk having his family name ripped to shreds. He just wondered what kind of girl would be changing their name to Wyatt. This, if judging by his parents ages when they were wed, would be sometime next year for him. He would be married next year, and who to, he had no idea.
Jay did have brains, he was extreamly intelligent, he had the mind of a Ravenclaw, that was the only way it could be described. As disturbing as it was. He was smart and he had a very sharp mind, he was able to think up things in a split second if he needed to. Jay didnt doubt his life would be going somewhere in the future, but he wondered if it would have gone further if he wasnt to be married next year and probably have a kid of his own by the age of nineteen?
He let go of his stomach and pulled her with him further into the dark depths of the dungeon, standing in that place was still making him sick. He would have to decontaminate it now, absolutley discusting. "Im telling you, that Hat is slipping, its letting people who shouldnt be in Slytherin into our House," He shuddered, "They're destroying us, people like them. Filth. They are giving the best House a bad name, a worse reputation." Of course Slytherin never had a good rep, but at least it never had a reputation for having blood traitors in the House. That is what Jay meant.

Morgana kept her eyes fixated on Jayden for a moment before his eyes followed the slytherin girl. Stalking out his gaze, her eyes too met upon the girl who was making a swift exit, and just as well. If she was stupid enough to stay, there would be more than a few playful hexes thrown at her. Morgana would teach her some respect for her house and her blood status. When the girl and boy finally left the scene of the crime, she paused for a moment to make sure they weren’t going to come back for some ignorant reason. Happy with the knowledge they weren’t returning, she twisted back so quickly, he hair flicked out and began bouncing around before finally settling in it’s previous location. Setting her eyes back onto Jayden’s, she noticed they were looking much brighter now than before the incident, whether he was happy he had ruined someone else’s valentine’s day or not, she wasn’t sure.
A strong scent wafted infront of Morgana, of the dungeons. The smell was rather putrid but it smelt like home. The odd patches of moss in the corners of the walls from the lake overhead, the slytherinesque banners strewn down every corridor down there, just the sheer merkiness and darkness of the place was what Morgana thought was beautiful. Unicorns and Butterflies? Now they were truly disgusting. Too happy and fairytale like for her liking. Many slytherins didn’t appreciate the beauty of the dungeons and their common room. Salazar slytherin himself obviously did the decor and the whole atmosphere of the place, so only true slytherins would appreciate it’s real beauty.
Nodding in agreement as Jayden agreed about the lack of Slytherins with pureblooded morals, she soon got dragged into the darker part of the corridor, which came as a bit of a shock to her as she stumbled forward before quickly gaining back her balance and facing him once again. The sorting hat? Disgusting piece of cloth.
“Yes. Maybe we should destroy the scraggy old thing and find someone or something to replace it. I’ve been thinking on this for a while now. I’m not sure if the hat has been protected or anything though, or how to go about it. I mean, we’d have to do a little digging the dirt on it and some research” she said getting a little carried away with thoughts of destroying the source of the problem. It was like bad blood in your family tree, you simply cut off the branch where it began. Of course, Morgana hadn’t had to worry on that matter, her family, along with Jayden’s were a couple of a small handful of totally pureblood slytherin families for generations. She couldn’t imagine living life any other way, and she was glad she would be getting an arranged marriage to keep that status intact.
Her parents were flexible however as they let her decide for herself knowing she would have nothing less than the best man for her, and he would have to be a pureblood, and hopefully a slytherin. However, she had decided to let her mother and father choose her husband, which she would be marrying in a year. It didn’t bother her in the slightest, she knew what she had to do, and she wanted to do it. If not, Morgana was stubborn enough to not go through with it. However, Morgana didn’t want any old man to marry, no. He would have to be good looking, smart and match her in many ways. The minute her parents brought her a loser, she would call off the wedding. So far, they had a boy lined up, Thedric Gregorovich, from a long line of Slytherin purebloods. However, she had yet to meet him and decide if he would be the one.
“So how are the parents and setting up your wedding and future bride?” she smirked. Crossing her arms over her chest, wand still in hand, from habit.

Jay walked a little down the Dungeons, the smell filling his nose, most people would say this smell was disgusting but in all honesty, Jay didnt think it was, it reminded him of the darker side every Slytherin had in them, that little bit that no matter what, you could never rid yourself of. Like a smell you cant replace. Like the Dungeon. Though, truth be told, Jayden quite liked the darker side to him and had no intention of ever wanting to change that part of him. Jay was Jay, he was a Slytherin down to the very core of him, and if anybody tried to change that about him, he would happily throw a hex or ten their way.
"Well I must say," Jay said running a hand through his bleach blonde hair, his eyes scanning the floor and the surrounding area for any signs of anybody else smooching. "The hat has been going for a long time so I would say it's well overdue for retirement." Jay smirked, the thought of a hat retiring and going on pension would be quite funny, though he doubted that would ever happen, "You'd think with Salazar putting a bit of himself into that hat that it would be able to tell the difference between good blood, bad blood and tainted blood wouldnt you? The next thing you'll know is we have a bloody werewolf amongst us, or a mudblood or something equally disgusting." Jay knew that they wouldnt be able to get to the hat unless they were head of the school, and Jay would hate to be headmaster and have to treat Mudbloods with respect as though they deserved to be taught magic.Which they didnt. Anybody less than pure should be scrapped at birth, Jayden would gag if someone in his family ever went with a muggle. Then again, that would never happen his father and mother would see to that.
Jay's parents wanted to make sure their kids did what was right by the family, their family name was more important to them than anything and Jay understood that as it was equally as important to him. Jay didnt even care about the fact the woman he would end up marrying and spending the rest of his life with, he wasnt likely to love her. He didnt care about that, he didnt care about anything apart from expanding the Wyatt name and keeping that name intact and as pure as possible. Jay would marry who his mother and father chose for him within reason. He would not marry someone who was beneath his standing, no matter how pure they were. So he may marry someone who wasnt as rich as he was, their family fortune could accomadate another five families easily anyway so that wasnt the problem, the problem was he didnt want to marry someone ugly. Yes, he was picky that way. He had been given leway to refuse his marriage as long as his parents could find the bride. If Jay refused this first one, his mother and father would find someone else and Jay was alright with that. Though they had to have some level of connection, she had to be similiar to Jay in some way or else Jay would not go through with it. He could live without love, but he couldnt live in complete misery. If he did not like the look of the girl, then no, he would not marry her.
"They're aiming for me to be wed next year," Jay told her. Jay didnt talk much about himself, he found it difficult, but this was alright knowing Morgana had the same arrangement too. That just proved how good their families were, they kept the old traditions, "The parents are fine, they write when they can but you know how busy they are usually and with the preparations of the wedding and the bride too they hardly have any time at all these days." He looked at her with a small smile and shoved his hands in his robe pockets as he walked. "My future bride is called Tamalia McPhearson. Im due to meet her in June this year, Mother wants us to meet earlier and before the wedding preparations take off..." This was because Jay then could say, 'No, I do not want to marry her.' If he thought he didnt. "Im not exactly looking forward to it," He told her truthfully, "I am glad in a way but... I dont know." He wasnt looking forward to being married, but he was. It was confusing and Jay hated talking about himself so he stopped, "What about you?"

“That hat I swear it actually likes the fact that Slytherin is falling. Who’d blame it? It has three houses against one combined in it doesn’t it? I mean, what one of the other houses would side with Slytherin? Not that we’d want them to of course, filthy mudbloods” she began to ramble off. Morgana didn’t talk much to others, but the ones worth talking to she could rant on for hours about the state of the school, the reputation of Slytherin going down the drain with the rest of the filth, the dirty little mudbloods and halfbreeds that were being let into the great house of Salazar, and general disliking of students and teachers. She liked getting angry about things, which in her opinion was great. She loved nothing more than filling the face of some Gryffindor with her fist and sending a few hex’s and jinx’s their way. If she could get away with Cruicio, she surely would. ‘The Psychotic Temptress’ she had overheard a few slytherin boys say to her. She liked to think of herself as ‘Queen of the Damned’. Morgana was the dark horse, so to speak of slytherin, there were a few beauty’s in the house of course, but she was one who you always seemed to remember first. With her full pout that she always naturally wore, and her wavy brown locks, and her true green slytherin eyes, she was very much like her mother. Soft features yet still outstanding and chiselled in perfect detail. Her eyes however, were beautiful, yet seemed to bore into you and steal all the secrets you hid within yourself. She had heartbreaker eyes, that was for sure.
“Hmm, well I’m sure one day the hat will be put into the trash where it belongs” she simply replied, flicking her head a little to the side and she began to study the wall. Noticing the crack in one of the bricks in the middle of the wall, she couldn’t help but think it was rather ironic, the fact that it was classed as Slytherin territory, and there was a broken link from within. It reflected upon what the pair were just discussing about the fate of Slytherin and the thought of it falling caused her to look away abruptly as if she had just seen someone have surgery.
As her eyes rested back onto Jayden’s, she gave him a small smile. Not a smug smile or a smirk, but a real smile. Not often did she dish out real emotions to people, so it was a strange occasion that it just happened to be at this moment. As she listened to Jayden’s marriage plans, she nodded and leant herself against the wall. She could sense he was uncomfortable talking about himself, in which she was too. Not much was known about Morgana, but Jayden probably knew a little bit more than others did. It wasn’t just because she liked to keep herself mysterious, it was due to the fact that she knew people could use any source of information against you. Nothing was known about Morgana but the basics, and that was that. Nobody even knew her birthday.
“Next year? I think my parents want my wedding sooner rather than later too. I’ve blatantly refused if he looks like the back end of a troll though” she smirked. Just then, she heard a footstep come from the steps in which the girl and boy smooching had just escaped. Twisting herself around, she saw it was the girl. Glaring at her and narrowing her eyes, she became really angry and frustrated at how stupid this girl was. Before she had blinked, Morgana had turned into her cobra animagus and was slithering after the girl hissing at her. The girl looked horrified and screamed as she ran off. Sliding up a step Morgana lifted her head and flicked her tongue to see the girl flailing her arms and bawling in terror away from the scene. If snakes could laugh, she would be laughing her scaley head off by now. Slithering back to Jayden, she stopped infront of him for a moment before sliding up his leg and onto his back before wrapping herself around his shoulders and gently hissing in his ear.

"Well you know what they say about the underdog." Jay shrugged, "The underdog never has, or will be favoured, but you can guarentee it will come out on top eventually." A part of the more intelligent side of Jay had just said that, he knew he was intelligent but it surprised even him sometimes, though the thing he did love about being naturally smart was the fact he did not have to slum it in the Library for hours on end with the idiot Ravenclaws. In fact, in all his Seven years here, he had been in the library maybe two or three times, and that was only to go into the restricted section. "Our house may be falling right now due to all the impurity and the fact even our own people are tainted due to their like of filth, but eventually we shall rise above it all and prove to the world to be in Slytherin, you had to be a Slytherin." Fake Slytherins knew well enough to not show the fact they were blood traitors, those that stayed true, and yes, there were only a handful of them, but those that did stay true would eventually show everyone else that Slytherin was the top house. No matter how many filthy people you threw into it, the 'Dogs' of the house, the pack if you like, would eat them up and spit them out before they knew what had happened. Each year, at every sorting, Jayden would watch carefully on who was being chosen for their house, and usually he could spot fakers, which, unfortunatly, were becoming more and more, and real Slytherins were becoming less and less. When Jay had written to his father telling him all this, his father wanted to pull Jay out and send him to Durmstrang or someplace like that. Though Jay insisted on staying, said he would do his bit for the house and make the lives of those less worthy a living hell. Which he had.
"Maybe." In all honesty, Jay did not think people would throw that godforskaken piece of crap out, as much as he hated to admit, it was part of the school, more importantly part of Salazar and was nearly the only thing the Slytherins had left of him apart from the referances in the books. The Slytherin Legacy used to be great, its founder was Salazar Slytherin who built a chamber to rid the place of filth. He had the right idea. Then voldemort was from Slytherin, another exceptional person, slightly crazy to be sure but he had the right idea. What person came out of Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff? Sure, Gryffindor had Potter but who was he really? Someone who had the luck of the devil thats who, but like everyone else, his luck ran out in the end, even though he lived to tell the tale age caught him and he died. You could be the luckiest person in the world and still die, though Jay didnt like the thought of that very much so didnt dwell on it longer than what was necessary. "Possibly"
Jay caught the smile off Morgana, and though he had known her for many years, he had never seen her smile genuinly, he actually thought it was impossible for her, though Jay's face remained still, strong and emotionless. He scratched the side of his face, that itch was starting to bug him. That little blood traitor better not have passed on a disease. Jay was more like his father, he had the strong facial features of his father and the white blonde hair off him too, The shapes of his eyes were the same as his dads, but the colour was the bright crystal blue of his mother. You could stare at Jays eyes and think you were sinking into a clear ocean, though at times, more than not, they were icy, cold and cruel. Jay was pretty much a mystery to everyone, they knew his name and that he was loyal to his house and proud of his family and status. They never knew how he felt, he never told anyone intimate details of his life and he didnt like people getting to close to him. It was a weakness in his eyes, a weakness he would never have.
"Well we dont know yet," Jay said, "Next year's on the plans but it could be sooner, possibly september this year if I agree to Tamalia." He told her. They had set a date for his wedding, though hadnt arranged it yet, no matter what, he was to be wed next year at the latest. Though if he agreed to Tamalia, he would be wed sometime this year. If he was not wed by next year, his mother and father would be dissapointed so in reality, a year seemed a long time but when you put it into perspective it actually really was not. Right now, he did not doubt he would say yes to Tamalia, the name seemed fancy enough and it oozed a rich feel so it seemed as though his family had gone all out. Though the question was, did her looks do her justice? He was so consumed in his thoughts he hadnt noticed Morgana change, though when he did he looked around and noticed a snake slithering towards him and looked up to see the girl running away, smirking and watching her leave, he felt something wrap around his leg, then his stomach, over his chest and finally rested on his shoulders, coiled around his neck so she didnt fall, but loose enough so Jay could breath. She hissed in his ear which made him laugh as he brought his hands up to stroke the snake now coiled around him, turning on his heel, he walked further into the dungeons, careful to avoid the trick brick as he didnt want water gushing on him, he had to light his wand to see where he was going, though he stopped after about ten minutes of winding through the never ending tunnels. "You'd make a good pet" He joked and stroked the Snake again.

Morgana sighed as she listened intently to Jayden. He always spoke wise words, and he knew exactly what was going on. He was the sort who if you asked him something trivial, he would know the answer. He was a walking encyclopaedia, which was a good thing. A smart, cunning Slytherin was great to have on your side, always ready and willing to outsmart the opposition. Slytherins were indeed the underdogs of Hogwarts, and they had always been seen as that way. Until the rise of Voldemort of course, and the death eaters. A part of history that Morgana was definitely interested in. She had even wandered into the library once or twice to find books about Slytherins, Salazar, Voldemort, and the uprising of them all, just to find out of her heritage and a part of who she was. She was glad to class herself as one of them. She had been so captivated by the whole bible of stories of Voldemort and his rise and fall. For so long Morgana had somehow been suppressing her anger about Hogwarts, the sorting hat and what filth it was letting into the house of Salazar and putting a blemish in it’s name and future. Being in Slytherin was a big deal, and it seemed that anyone was being let into the house now, and it wasn’t picking and choosing the correct pure blooded students to keep the house pure and great. However, something in her had cracked, and she had become so angered and frustrated that it really began to affect her and her way of thinking. She had lost all faith and trust in slytherins and they had to now gain her trust. Not respect however, 99.9% of people never got her respect. Come to think of it, not many had gained her trust either, although Morgana would never be so weak as to trust someone fully.
As the conversation turned onto his future bride, Morgana snarled a little, more inwardly than out. She wasn’t sure why, but she just took an instant disliking to the name. “Tamalia? What sort of a name is that? Is she foreign?!” she chuckled, quite amused by the bride to be’s name, it wasn’t a name she would ever choose for her child. No, When she had children, which would be soon, they would have strong slytherin names, not flower power names like ‘Tamalia’. Rolling her eyes, she placed her hands on her hips and bit her bottom lip in fun, while raising her eyebrows at him. She found the girls name rather funny as it didn’t seen like a strong, power name. Morgana was a strong name, often classed as ‘morgue’ in which Morgana would surely put people in the coming future, so it fitted her psychotic personality well. Jayden? Well that was a strong name too, and a few of the most clever Slytherins and high up in their jobs shared the same name. Morgana just watched the look on Jayden’s face and couldn’t help but burst out laughing. Wait, was this a tear of joy? She surely was in hysterics at his bride’s name. It wasn’t even that funny, but somehow, Morgana had found a fun point in it to playfully mock Jayden. Saying that, her husband to be, well maybe, if he was lucky enough, his name wasn’t much better. He was part Russian and Part English. His father being the Russian, both parents still pure blood mind. Her husband attended Durmstrang and she was awaiting a letter from her parents to let her know when she would be meeting him. She wasn’t really looking forward to the meeting, she had a feeling he would not be good enough for her.
As she scared of the girl and slithered up to Jayden’s neck, she carried on hissing gently at him to try and make him squeal and become ticklish. Gently hissing so her tongue wafted carefully against his neck, she gave a snakeish laugh, which just came out as more hissing. As they passed the vase she had once hidden in in the form she was now, she lifted her head and looked down into it, wondering how the teacher didn’t spot her in there. They must of been blind, or stupid. Maybe both. Being carried by Jayden was rather good for Morgana, it saved her walking, and it was always good for a man to carry you about. Turning her head back, she rubbed her head against his cheek, just teasing him for a moment before bouncing a little with every one of his strides. Turning her head back to him, she stared him in the eyes. Funnily enough, her eyes were still the same vibrant green that they were as a human, and looked even brighter in the dark. Staring at him for a moment, she flicked her tongue out and it tickled the end of his nose. It was quite comfy of Jayden’s shoulders, he was muscular yet he never showed his body off. Morgana gave a quick thought to slithering under his shirt and getting a look for herself but the thought soon passed when he said she would make a good pet. A slow blink of the snake and she slid down and changed back into herself once again.
“Thanks for the ride” she smirked. “So, where are we going? I was to busy teasing you to noticed our surroundings” she said and she quickly glanced around the familiar walls of the Dungeon. It was amazing how anybody knew where anything was in the dungeons, every corner and every twist and turn all looked exactly the same, it was like one of those muggle cartoons where the background or backdrop was just repeated over and over again. Talk about laziness, dirty little mudbloods. Sighing, she looked down the her skirt, which now had bits of dirt on it due to her slithering around on the floor. Her knees were also dirty. Sighing, she bent down a little and dusted them off quickly, not really successfully as the dirt was still visible. Straightening back up, she looked back at Jayden with a raised eyebrow awaiting his answer to her question.

Jay wasnt ticklish or squemish so the Snake didnt bother him really. Now if it tightened its coils around his neck, then he would have a problem with it. Obviously Jay liked Snakes, he had at least four at home which his carer would be looking after in his absense since it was doubtful his mother and father were around. The house elf wouldnt go near Jay's snakes, the poor thing was terrified of them. He felt the snakes tongue on the side of his neck, though it sent a shiver down the blondes spine he was pretty much used to it by now considering his own snakes at home did the same thing, Jay could only assume he tasted nice. Jay spotted the head of the snake move and look down into something, a vase by the looks of things and he could only assume she had hidden in there once or twice, obviously as the snake, her human form wouldnt fit inside it. As he walked he could feel her bounce around his shoulders which made him smirk, if anybody saw Jay now they would probably look twice at him. It wasnt everyday you saw someone with a snake around your neck. He brought his hand up and scratched the top of her head when she rubbed it against Jay's cheek. So now her face was infront of his, he looked into her eyes, blue meeting green, both bright shades of the colour and for once, Jays actually looked nice, not icy.
It was true, Jay had a good physique. He liked to look after himself and he did do quite a bit of working out when he was at home. Occasionally you might find him doing sit ups or something in the common room to keep his muscular shape. He didnt like to show off his body, he got enough unwanted attention without doing so. It seemed to Jay his little fanclub didnt understand the fact he would never be interested in them unless they were chosen to be his bride. Which he hoped beyond all hope they would never be. Seven years in this school and he had never had a girlfriend, he never wanted one. His father had told him if he did he would be spoiled goods and Jay wasnt about to compromise that, he had to be pure in everything if he was to marry. Though of course he had had a couple of flings, but that was just Jay. A lot like his father actually for his dad had had more than his fair share of flings before he married Jays mother. Though still, in a way Jay was still pure because he had never slept with anyone yet. His first would be his wife, no doubt about that. Whenever anyone asked Jay about it, he would simply pretend to be deaf until he subject was changed.
When Jay stopped, Morgana slithered off him and changed back into her beautiful human form. He gave a little sort of bow like thing before answering, "It was my pleasure sweet" He often called her things like that, he had known her for many years and his family knew Morgana's family. Jay was always polite to their family calling them Mr and Mrs Croft. Yes, Jay had airs and graces, that was easy to see, though he had always been slightly different to Morgana, calling her names like 'Sweet, Sweetheart ot Sweetcheeks' because he knew it annoyed her. Whenever Morgana was compared with something sweet you could guarentee she would not like it, though her anger just made Jay laugh because he had seen it fly more times than he cared to count. Sometimes Jay ever wondered if she would ever control it, though he doubted it very much.
"Well," Jay said, "We are past the centre of the Dungeons now, the more we go the more it slopes down." He told her, "The thinner the corridors get until your basically either crammed together or one is walking behind the other." He had explored these tunnels and knew them pretty much like he knew the back of his hand, "Not many people venture down here so you know where to go if you ever need a little piece and quiet, afterall it is where I go."
He noticed the dirt and grime on her skirt and legs and smiled, bending down he wet his hand on the puddle near them and tried to rub the dirt off, however with his hand it seemed not to move so he tried with the hem of his robe and sure enough, the dirt on her legs came off. Because of the way he was knealt down, anybody who might chance to walk past them would think Jay was proposing, though he wasnt obviously as he stood back up with a grin on his face. "There, dirt free"

Jay seemed to be good with Morgana as a snake, which suggested to her that he would of handled a few snakes before. As she tickled him and she bounced as he walked, she noticed his smirk, and he obviously found it funny, so she began to ‘head bang’ as a snake to see if it would cause him to laugh. Hell, if she was observing the pair, and watching a head banging cobra as Jayden Wyatt strode down the murky dark dungeons he would find it pretty funny. As she looked deep into his human eyes with her snake ones, she tried desperately to think of something she could do to make him show some sort of emotion, whether it be a smirk or a laugh, or even just a raise of his eyebrow. Her mind failed her however, so she settled for a flick of her tongue and she rested in the crook of his neck nearest his heart. She could hear it beating, and it seemed ten times louder to her due to her snake hearing.
Morgana too had a good physique, she was slender and toned, although not too much, as really muscular women just didn’t look pretty, but just enough to show she was tough and would mean business. Still, she was very womanly with her beautiful curves and yet she could still eat what she wanted and how much of it she wanted. However, she tended to prefer the finer things in life, and wasn’t one to go snacking on fast foods. She would eat the best foods, salmon, salad, and posh things like that. Hogwarts didn’t have much on the posh side of food, so she usually stuck too Salads and steaks, to keep her strength up. On the odd occasion she would visit Honeydukes to get some chocolate, but not very often. She liked to keep slim, she liked to keep herself looking presentable at all times. Many times she would run around the castle grounds at night to keep fit, and do sit ups and press ups to keep her muscles working. She wasn’t crazy and doing exercise all the time, but at least twice a week she would work out for about an hour at least, even if it was just to make herself feel better, or get some anger out. It seemed she did more exercise around the holiday periods when less students were about. The things boredom led you too when there weren’t people to scare and hex. When Morgana had slid up Jayden’s body however, he was really toned and muscular, and from what she had slid across, had a body to die for. She had often walked into the common room to see Jayden working out in there, and sometimes she had joined him. Others she just sat and watched him sweat while she ate something delicious. Once or twice she had even sat on his back as a weight while he did press ups. That had made her laugh as he had after every couple of pushes, arched his back rather quickly causing her to be thrown off. That was probably the first time she had laughed out of happiness when she was in Hogwarts. He had made her fall on the stone floor and her hair became a mess and thrown over her face, her skirt had ripped a little from how he had thrown her off, and the dirt from the floor had blackened her hands. She remembered looking at him through her hair and giggling before flicking her head back and it falling back into place before younger students who came in and ruined the fun. They fancied Jayden, and were cooing over him working out and giggling in the corner. She had soon put on her normal stern face once again and pushed herself up off the floor before looking back at Jayden and smiling secretly before escaping up into the dorm. As the memory came back to her, she gave a smile to herself.
As Morgana had drifted off into her memory bank, she came back into reality when she heard Jayden call her ‘Sweet’. She knew he only did it to annoy her, and he was the only one who would be able to ever get away with it. If anyone else ever said anything like that to her, she would have them strung up by the neck. However, she welcomed the bow he gave and smirked and gave a head bow in return. For as long as she could remember, Jayden had called her ‘pet names’, but ‘Babe’ was probably the worst he had ever called her. She hated that word. Sexy and gorgeous etc she could tolerate highly, but words considered ‘cute’ were not on her menu. Morgana had never really paid attention to the way the corridors sloped, she was always on her own when walking down there and so she had no need to cram herself in anywhere. It was another interesting little fact Jayden had shared with her that she would remember. As he knelt down, Morgana could do nothing but watch as he showed his gentlemanly ways and rubbed the dirt off her knees and skirt. As he stood back up she just folded her arms and raised her eyebrows at him. “Was that just a sneaky way of looking up my skirt?” she joked. The amount of times other Slytherins had done things like that, she had just kicked them in the private area or gave a swift knee into their faces. As if they’d ever be lucky enough to get a piece of her, not a cat in hells chance would she stoop to their low levels. Nobody would have her until her wedding night, and that was that. It was the only way to make sure the family stayed pure and free from dirt.

It was difficult for people to make Jay show any signs of emotion and he knew Morgana was trying to make him laugh, though he just wanted to roll his eyes but he didnt. His jaw sort of twitched, which only did that when he was annoyed, though he wasnt annoyed so he didnt understand why it twitched. It seemed she decided to give up as she laid back down to rest near his heart, he couldnt feel it in his chest, but he knew she would be able to hear it, which was obviously a good thing at least he was alive if nothing else. As he walked he came upon some first year Slytherins who looked up when they saw Jayden coming, the girls they were with seemed to flutter their eyelashes and cooned, though the lads seemed to be more wary, as he got into view, they saw the snake coiled around his neck and they all gave a frightened jump when they saw the size of the cobra. This made Jay sigh and roll his eyes, "If you are scared of snakes, then why on earth are you in Slytherin." He asked them, "Get out of here, go and grow yourselves a backbone." It sounded like an order and they certainly were'nt stupid enough to disobey him as they scarpered.
No, muscular women did not look pretty and were in fact Jaydens biggest turn off. Jayden did not like to stuff himself on chocolate or anything like that, if he was to have anything resembling anything sweet like that it would only be the finest of things he could get, he would not be seen within Honeydukes, Jayden turned his nose up at most things and that was one of them. He would eat simple, yet elegant foods like Sushi, or maybe going out a bit he would have Lobster. To be honest he would eat anything his mother cooked for him but Hogwarts did not delegate for such exquisite tastes and he found himself eating things like Steak and Mashed Potato. He always looked forward to going home where he would have a proper meal with a few glasses of the finest wine. Jay only ate Hogwarts food to keep his own strength up, which he needed as he worked out at least twice a day, once early in the morning, and once late at night. Jayden was rather obsessed with his training and wouldnt quit, he liked to keep at it so he could keep his chiseled pysique. He usually got a crowd of those idiot girls watching him when he excersized, because of this he always excersized in a dark green vest top, which clung to his body due to the sweat, though luckily he always had a towel nearby. Though his usual spectator was Morgana, you could say she knew exactly when he was going to work out as she always seemed to be there watching him. He was used to the eyes on him now, the first few years he found it unnerving, now he just ignored it unless they interrupted his session. Sometimes Morgana joined him, though it wasnt very often she worked out with him, more like helped him, she would either sit on his back as a weight, or time him when he was doing running on the spot, or count his pressups. Though when she had been a weight for him, he had let his back drop which made her lose her balance and fall off, the two had laughed about it for a while until people came in and due to appearances sake, they stopped and Jay carried on with his workout. He knew Morgana got as annoyed with his little fanclub as he did, as she often yelled at them for disturbing him when he was trying to work out.
For all it was worth at the time, Jay would never call her babe again. He never thought he had been slapped on the chest so hard, he had a red handprint on it for weeks and the funny thing was, he had been working out that night so he did have a top on, all he said was, "Thanks babe," Meaning thankyou for being a weight again, it looked like Jay had sunburn on him, though it didnt really bother him as he never took his shirt off infront of anyone, and even Morgana didnt know about it. Around the school, mainly amongst the first years, was a rumour about Jay and Morgana. Apparently they were involved secretly with eachother, though this rumour had made him roll his eyes cuse it wasnt much of a secret if everyone knew was it, besides it wasnt true. They were no more involved than Jay was involved with a Hufflepuff!
"Morgana," he said as he looked at her with a smirk, "If I'd have wanted to look up your skirt I would have said." Which was true, Jay would have said that. Though he had been raised to be a gentleman to the women who deserved it. Like Morgana, he would not dream of doing anything that would compromise his position. Jay was a respeful guy as far as it went and she knew that. So why would he look up her skirt? Still, he supposed it would be fair as she had used her snake form to slither over his body to get a feel, he knew that was what she had done, or due to his arrogance, this was what he thought.

His heartbeat was strong and rhythmical, in which Morgana expected due to how much time Jayden used up working out. Every so often it gave a big beat against his chest, possibly just to show how strong it was. Focusing her attention onto a few newbie Slytherins she hissed a little just as Jayden began to speak to them. More snarled than speak actually, which was what Morgana usually did. Seeing them swoon over him made her think of all the times their small pieces of time they got together got distracted or disturbed by someone else. It angered her a little as Jayden was the only one in the school who she would like to spend her time with, growing up together pretty much, she had gotten used to his company and his presence around her, and when it was disturbed by some lowlifes, she didn’t appreciate it much. Seeing Jayden roll his eyes, she hissed softly a little in a mock laugh that she would of displayed in a rather evil way to the younger years, Staring one of them out, she moved her head gently in a circular motion and got nearer and nearer, almost hypnotising the first year before suddenly jolting her head forward and hissing loudly, fangs protruding at the boys face. His expression was priceless, and she only wished she had taken a photograph of it to show Ricky, he would appreciate that look on the kid’s face more than anyone. Watching them disappear from view, Morgana gave a nod in approval at their little threat.
There had been plenty of times Morgana was just fed up with Jayden’s fan girls, mainly just because she didn’t understand how someone could throw themselves like that at someone else, no matter how stunning they were. Did they have no respect for themselves? To just go all gooey over him, and a few others. It seemed Jayden, Ricky, and Evra were the wanted Slytherins, whereas the wanted girls were Morgana and Erys. Erys seemed to like to revel in the fact that she was wanted by so many, however Morgana was the opposite. She knew she was beautiful, but she didn’t play on it unless she had too. She kept care of herself and she didn’t do it for anyone else but her. If she didn’t want to, she would be a fat ugly, spotty snob, and she couldn’t bear the thought of that. Call her vain, but at least she wasn’t ugly. She was brought up to take care in her appearance, and when she wasn’t in robes, she dressed herself in smarty, or in sleek dresses, mainly black. She liked the way she dressed, as many people just wore jeans and that was that. Morgana would try her best on most occasions, however if she was just lazing about the castle, she would wear something a little more comfortable. Morgana was a typical woman, and he thought she should dress like one. She was like her mother in that respect, yet she had her father’s temper, although it was tenfold. Even when she was younger, her father became quite scared of how she was, and that was without her learning magic as of yet. He knew she would be a great witch, albeit a psychotic one, but most great witches and wizards had a little craziness in them, that’s how they were. Voldemort wasn’t exactly sane was he? Morgana caught his smirk, and simply raised her eyebrows high enough so her forehead crinkled slightly. Pouting lightly she shook her head a little in disbelief at what he had just said. She found it quite amusing.
“Well you never know” she joked. Of course she knew Jayden would never disrespect her in any way like that, he was too much of a gentleman for that. As the pair walked down the narrow corridor in which Jayden had discussed earlier, how it became so narrow you had to form a queue, she stopped at the door and turned a little to face him. The phrase ‘trapped like a tin of sardines’ wandered across Morgana’s mind, and she just look up at Jayden for a moment, no expression on her face, but her eyes could say a thousand words. For a moment, just a split second, she had a longing for Jayden Wyatt. The closeness between them trapped in the corridor had probably brought on that momentary emotion. They were so close, that as Morgana tilted her head up to look at him, she could feel the warmth of his breath on her face. Staring into his ice blue eyes, after a moment she blinked and looked back at the door.
