Amie was currently going mad with boredom and found herself sitting in front of the hearth with a book on her lap and an impatient look on her face. Normally at her old school she'd be out until they told her to go to her dorm and threatened her with detentions. Yet at Hogwarts she'd retire early after dinner without much else to do. Silly Ellie spending so much time with her boyfriend and Felicity Locke and leaving the poor easily amused child by herself. Didn't she know that that could be potentially disastrous?
Tapping her fingers rhythmically on her hard cover book, she finally put it down when she realized that she'd stopped actually comprehending the words about five pages ago. Storing the book away in her bag, she stood up and decided that she wouldn't let not having someone to talk to keep her locked away in Hufflepuff-land. Quickly leaving the common room with a few glances that said 'Good-riddance, distraction girl' she started to walk through the labyrinth of corridors.
After wandering aimlessly and listening to a few rumors circulating about Bradyn and Felicity, and sadly, still, Jase's fight that ended up hurting Fay, Am finally found a good spot to call her own for a while. The bright corridor was light by a long row of arched windows that overlooked the lake and she went to sit on the edge of one, bundling her black and yellow striped scarf tighter around herself. Even if it wasn't the same, or as easy to maneuver through, she was glad she moved because Hogwarts was simply beautiful.

Ella made her way through the large halls of Hogwarts, just one foot in front of the other. Being a Malfoy, that would mean her whole reputation was already set out for her. Why couldn't she just make her own like everyone else?
She sighed in wonder to herself, but stopped short of the large breath as she caught a flash of yellow inher periphial vision. She turned her head to see a Hufflepuff girl sitting on a window sill, looking out onto the grounds, with a look of somewhat trouble. Without a second though, Ella spoke to the girl, "Is something wrong?"

Ash strolled along the corridors, nearly desperate with boredom. He hadn't seen his friends or Cris in ages. It seemed like everyone had forgotten about him...
Looking up he saw two girls ahead of him. One, was a Hufflepuff he did not recognize, the other, was Ella Malfoy. "Hey Ella, what's up?" he asked, as he walked up behind her.

Ella turned her head to the sound of her name, and her eyes laid upon Ash.
"Hey Ash, i didnt even here you come up" Ella said, smiling.
Ella then thought of the scenerio she seemed to stand in right now. In a hall looking to comfort a Hufflepuff, and greeting a Ravenclaw... Her parents wouldn't be too happy abut all this, although it would not be as bad as it would if a Gryffindor were involved. Ella shuttered slightly, shaking off the feeling of her parents watching her.
'Maybe I will be able to live without fear of being caught once I graduate...' Ella thought hoped. Ella just knew them as people, but her parents didn't. It took some self conscience arguing to go with her own opinion and just stay where she was. Somewhere that it didn't matter. Well...she was a sixth year. Pretty much an adult. She would make her own decisions, she thought confidently.

A scowl must have appeared on her face as she started to think things over. Move into a new school for not even a week and already your knee-high in new drama, only this time she wasn't on home turf and she couldn't help but get the feeling she was on the bad side. Of course she was so used to keeping matters like these to herself that she couldn't even ask Jase about it without feeling like she was prying into his personal business.
Amie's head quickly snapped up and her out of her little trance at the sound of a voice she was sure was addressed to her. "Wrong? Oh, no, I was just.. thinking." She said with a shrug but soon after she came another boy came too. It didn't help that she didn't know either of them but they seemed to be having a conversation with themselves. 'That's real nice.' She thought stubbornly.
"Hi, I'm Amie..." She stuck in there to get a foot in on the conversation.

(Hope you dont mind me jumping in :])
There were still rumours of Jase and Max's fight, yes someone had gotten hurt and Jase had been big enough to seek Fay out and apologize to her. Okay, so maybe he hadnt personally gone out of his way to look for her, but he had heard her mother owned Honeydukes so on the weekend he was more likely to find her there. Without that guy she was usually with who, Jase was sure, gave him death glares whenever he walked into a room. When Tenley had heard of the fight, she instantly got Jase to tell her about it. Not because she was prying, but because even she couldnt believe Jase had managed to find himself in trouble already. Jase was prone to trouble, but not usually that early on in a new term. Or new for him at least.
The bruises had long since faded now, so that was alright. At least he wasnt sporting the obvious sign his brother packed a good punch, that little embarrasment never grew old. Though the one thing he wasnt used to, after the fight Amie wasnt there to give him a hug, make sure he was alright. Then yell at him for being so stupid. Though at that moment, she didnt need to. If they hadnt been fighting, Fay would never have been hurt. If Jase hadnt left, Fay wouldnt have been hurt, Amie wouldnt have been hurt by him leaving and Ten wouldnt have had to chase him half way around the world to find him. Shortly followed by Amie. Now all they needed was Mike and the team would be together again. Though Jase knew, it wouldnt be like it was. Amie had found some new friends and Tenley had too. Jase just preffered to stay on his own, much to the surprise of the people who knew him, as Jase never usually liked to be alone.
As he was walking down the corridor, he heard a conversation going on and a voice he was almost sure he recognised. One that even now put a smile on his face but in all honesty, he wasnt sure. As the conversation wore on, Jase tried to follow the sounds. "Hmm?" He mumbled to himself as he walked around the corner and saw the firey red hair of Amie Duran. Of course this had made his day a lot brighter, with a smile, he walked behind a blonde girl, and a black haired boy who he knew to be Ashton, his idiotic brothers ex boyfriend. Now Max knew how to have a dramatic life. Stupid boy. Just because they were on speaking terms, didnt mean he couldnt think nastily about him now did it?
He got over to the crowd just as Amie introduced herself, holding out his hand he smiled. "Hi Amie, Im Jase!" He gave her his usual goofy grin and looked at the other two, now he had said his name there was no point in repeating it. "Could you look less bored if you tried?" He asked Amie as he stood in the middle Ash and the girl. His goofy grin plastered over his face as he folded his arms, "Or is that a lovesick puppy look?" Jase was only teasing her, but he wouldnt take it too far, he knew when to stop as he had been hexed for teasing her so many times in America. Though nothing compared to those stinging slaps of hers, he had a good few of them for numerous reasons in the past and didnt intend on getting one now.

"Nice to meet you, Amie!" Ella smiled. "Obviously, I'm El-" Suddenly she was cut off by a boy walking up and introducing himself to Amie, teasing her. Ella couldn't tell if the teasing was sarcastic and funny, or rude... But because he had stood right in front of Ella, blocking her view of Amie, she sent death glares into the boys back. She turned back to look at Ash in a confused way, silently asking if Ash knew him.

Ash shrugged at Ella, "My ex's brother." he mouthed, referring to Jase. "So, Jase, you and Max on speaking terms now? Or are you still hexing the crap out of eachother, everytime you see eachother?" he asked in a slightly bored, disinterested tone.

Ella nodded as Ash explained who the strange boy was, and looked back to the boy for a reply.

Amie just smiled at the blonde Slytherin's greeting which was quickly caught off by a certain someone. Jase was certainly a ninja, popping up everywhere like that. "Nice to meet you too, El-la?" She said with a smirk and a little questionable expression at the ending to her name. After all, the other kid called her Ella but she may introduce herself with a more full version of the name, such as Elinor. Now, for Mr. Know-it-all. "Hello, Jase!" She said just as enthusiastically to go along with him and grabbed his hand too shake it but only manged the serious look for a few seconds before she laughed herself.
Though she soon caught the look he was getting from the Slytherin girl--and, unsurprisingly, Amie was quick to pick up on how nasty angry Slytherins could be--and she grabbed Jase by the arm and tried to move him out of the way. Even if she wasn't going to move him by herself, he'd certainly get the point to move his ass out of the way. At his teasing, she just sent a glare his way herself while she tried to think of some sort of comeback. "It'd be homesick puppy way before lovesick puppy for you, Mister." She said as it was the first thing to come to mind. Of course, that was cruel since there were way too many ways of it being taken badly. Oh well.
As the other boy, who obviously didn't believe in introductions, started to speak to Jase she couldn't help but raise her 'brow with a confused look. Obviously they knew each other, but by his tone Jase was more of an annoyance than a friend. Ex's brother, oh ho, now that's an interesting relationship. "Maybe you should mind your own damn business." Amie said coldly, never liking it when people brought up uncomfortable memories just to hurt someone. She folded her arms over her chest as a sign that she was done talking about that and avoided looking at Jase since she really didn't want to see his reaction to that little comment.

"One. None of your business," Jase said to Ash, "Two, We never used a single hex. Three, Just because Max broke your fragile little heart doesnt mean you can speak down to me. You dont know me so dont act as though you do." Turning back to Amie as she spoke to him, a wide grin setting upon his features as she took his hand and gave it a good shake, though laughing, Jase's answer was a wink towards her.
Jase wasnt predujice against houses, but he knew how nasty Slytherins could be if angered, though Jase didnt really care much, but obviously Amie did as she tugged at his arm. Moving out of the way, never realising he was in the way anyway as he had stood beside the Slytherin, not infront of her. He could only assume she had backed off and stood behind him, which to why she was giving him death glares when it was her own fault he would never know, nor would he care. "Nice to know you missed me," Jase said, furrowing his brow, "Thankyou sweetheart, I love ya' an all!" Though Jase stuck his tongue out to show that he was only playing and meant no harm by it.
Jase smirked when Amie basically said what Jase had said. It seemed people within Hogwarts were way to damned nosey about business that didnt concern them. So, not looking to either Ash or Ella, he said to Amie, "You up for a trip down Hogsmeade on weekend?" He asked, "Me and you, no interferance?" Every time Amie and Jase had tried to have a moment together, someone else came along. With everything happening all higgeldy piggledy in Hogwarts, couples never seemed to be able to spend time together. Oh well. Either Amie would, or she wouldnt. Her choice right?

Ella smirked as the girl made a comment toward her name. Ella was the name she had went by since birth, considering her full first name was longer than most peoples entire names put together. Ella was a traditional name, used for many powerful fairies at most, maybe she had not heard enough history to understand that, for now, she would keep her mouth at ease. No need to embarass the girl.
The snotty little Gryffindor had more of an attitude than Ella had expected, then with the realization of the boys house, she noticed a minor, funny little detail. Not one of them was of the same house, as they each represented the ones founded long ago.
"Oh, I'm sorry" Ella said, looking to the Gryffindor boy, "You must not have realized, but we seemed to be talking to Miss Duran." Ella said it sarcastically enough that her sarcasm could only be missed by the most profoundly deaf or dumb of people. Although the Hufflepuff did not seem to take very kindly to her presence either, she had still came to see the girl with intentions of concern. Those intentions didn't float away easily.
