Felicity just grinned down at her pad as she sketched away. Talking to Maxi actually helped her to calm down. He seemed layed back and easy going. And he made her laugh. It was easy to talk to someone like him.
"I mean, it's just easier to say something like that, than to actually do it." Fay glanced back up at him, then looked back down at the pad. Her pencil darkened the lines now, making the sketch look more human.
She snorted. "Yea, try to tell Bray that. Or anyone else for that matter." Fay tilted her head slightly at the picture, then continued. "I don't really mind if a guy doesn't like me, or if a person doesn't like me. I'm perfectly fine seeing my friends happy with other people." Well that wasn't totally the truth. Even Fay had that small fantasy that she wished someone would actually like her just more than a friend. More than that weird, stubborn girl she usually was.

He watched as he stood there in his pose and she grinned, shortly followed by a laugh. Maxi liked making people laugh, unfortunatly he hadnt done much of that recently, instead he had just made people miserable.
"Dont be daft" Maxi laughed, "If you want something that badly, you have to fight for it, right?" He looked at her, "Its not an easy thing to say sometimes, all im saying is theres probably loads of guys who like you and are just too nervous to tell you... Guys fear rejection more than anything"
"You like Bray?" he asked. Maxi thought Bray was a decent guy, a little bit nervous sometimes but that was probably because they were in the forest and Max was more or less picking on him. "Why dont you tell him then? Thats all well and good and everything but sometimes you need to put your own happiness first, Fay"

Felicity fell over as Maxi suggested that she liked Bray. She scrambled back up, her eyes wide. "WHat, no! That's not what I meant. I mean Bray and I always gripe at each other. We're friends, but not like that." Fay laughed and went back to finishing her drawing.
"Let's say, in a hypothetical case, that I did have somewhat of a crush." She tilted her head to the side. "What would you say to that?"

Maxi raised an eyebrow at Fay, seriously did girls think he was completly dense? Or just plain stupid. "You would not have acted like that if you didnt like him, Fay" he laughed, "And try telling Bray that kinda gave it away"
"What would I say in a hypothetical sense?" He said thinking, though he knew she did like him it was obvious. "I'd say you should follow your gut and tell him. If you dont you will always be sat around thinking, what if?" He smiled at her, "Hypothetically of course" he winked.

Felicity snorted again. "Seriously Maxi. I don't like him. He's my best friend. He's more of a brother than anything else." Fay looked back up at Maxi, then back down at her picture. "Almost done, you can move now."
She put the last finishing touches on the picture as Maxi spoke. Fay set her pencil down. "Alright, you can some sit back down Maxi." Felicity pat the spot next to her. "If I hypothetically liked someone I would hypotheitcally tell you if he wasn't hypotheically in your house."

"You know I dont believe you, dont you Fay" He laughed as he moved, though cracking his neck since it had become stiff. "Come on, you two nit pick at each other too much for it just to be a brotherly type thing" Maxi laughed again, he seriously believed she liked Bray and he would get her to admit it before the day was out. Of course, he would take it to his grave.
Maxi walked back over to Fay and sat down beside her, looking at the picture as he did so. He was amazed it looked exactly like him! "Hypothetically speaking, Fay and please excuse my bluntness but you are being awfully blunt on this hypothetical subject so that makes me believe it is not hypothetical that you like Bradyn Reed" He smiled at her, "Theres no shame in liking him you know, he's real cute and he's a great guy" Maxi laughed and nudged her, "Too bad he isnt gay" He laughed again, "Im joking, but im not joking about you liking him"

Felicity rolled her eyes. "Maxi. I do not like Bradyn Reed. Not now, not ever. He's dating Bry, who is my best friend as well. And I'm totally happy for them." She gave Maxi a stern look then set her pad aside.
"Plus, in the hypotheical case, I said the person was from your house. I don't see you running around in Ravenclaw colors." Fay stuck her tongue out at him. "You need to listen better."

"Just because he's with someone doesnt mean you cant look" Maxi sighed and admitted defeat, "Fine! I admit defeat!"
He looked at her, "Who?" He asked, "I cross my heart i will take it to my grave, come on tell me" he laughed.

Felicity felt a slight blush linger on her cheeks as he asked who. She shook her head and shut her sketchbook. "Nu-uh, not telling. Bry, Bray, nor Ash even know yet." Fay made a face and stuck her tongue out slightly. "They'll just think I charmed him or something though."
Fay's eyes widened instantly as she just realized what she had done. She clapped a hand over her mouth and silently cursed herself. Leave it to Fay to forget who she was talking to.

Mxi raised his eyebrows at her, he wasnt going to push if she didn't want to tell him, afterall it wasnt like it was any of his business. "Fair enough then" He smiled at her, though his face slightly dropped when she mentioned Ashton's name. Maxi gave a slight wheeze, though looked at her again with a raised eyebrow.
"Ya know, if I ask what you mean by that, you'll only tell me it was a slip of your tongue, or you didnt mean anything by it, or you dont know what your talking about" He laughed, spouting off reasons why Felicity wouldnt tell him what she had meant. "But judjing from your own reaction to it, i'd tell you I didnt believe you, then we'd be going around all the tables again, so I just dont think I'll bother" He laughed and looked at her, "Of course if you want to tell me, i cant stop you" He stuck his tongue out at her and put on a playful smile.
"So have you achieved what you came here for then?"

Felicity pressed her hand against her forehead and cursed under her breath. "Ug, just pretend you heard none of that alright?" She sighed and shook her head. Maxi was too easy to talk to.
She glanced back at him and sat back up. "Actually yes." Fay pursed her lips slightly. "But probably not for the same reasons you think." She threw him a grin and leaned back on her hands, looking out at the lake.
"Now, for one last piece of business, I want you to promise me something."
