In the past few days a very strange thing had happened to Harrison Greg, he had lost confidence in himself. Of course he would never admit it to the boys or the fan club and so around them he had tried his best to act the same, wolf whistle after girls, being cheeky to almost everyone and ruling over the Gryffindor common room. But when he was alone sitting in the library (yes Harrison did go to the library from time to time) or at the house tables he would not be able to stop thinking about seeing a certain Ravenclaw walking away from him as fast as she could. That was something Harrison was not used to and he found it very unsettling.
So today was the day that Harrison knew he needed to do something to make himself feel masculine once more and try and gain back some of that old confidence and flare that he used to have in abundance. The only problem was he did not know where to go to gain this feeling back, some would say the forest but Harrison hated that place, Hogsmeade was a popular spot but on a week night there would only be locals and they were not really his type so alas Harrison Greg was just wondering around the corridors of the castle. Curfew was not for hours yet it was still quite and as he rounded the corner in the corridor that lead towards the Astronomy tower (and the Ravenclaw common room however Harrison had only seen inside of it he did not know how to get in) he heard voices.
Not feeling in a sociable mood Harrison knew there was no where he could run and hide so he hoped that for the first time in his life he could blend into the background and he tried to pretend that he was studying one of the portraits on the wall.

"Oy! Watch it!"
Felicity glared at the backs of some kids as they scurried away from her, giggling because they had managed to trip her, yet again. It was probably a daily thing, someone coming out to see who could trip Fay the best. The whole school knew that she was clumsy.
The veela picked up the last of her books and tucked them under her arm. One of her usual books was missing though. A notebook, with doodles and what not on the cover, that she carried with her everywhere. And of course it had the lyrics she was working on in there. How did this so-called notebook become lost?
Well, it happened when Felicity was talking to Harrison Greg. After she fled the scene, she had remembered that she didn't pack her notebook back into her bag. So it sat there, in her old spot, just waiting for someone to pick it up. She was so furious with herself for being so stupid.
Still distracted from her fall, Fay didn't noticed someone in her way. She glanced up to check where she was going, and found herself tripping over someone's feet. Oh dear, here we go again. With a muttered curse, she leaned over and started to pick up her books.
"Sorry about that, I wasn't paying attention."

Harrison had always joked with Blake and Toby about girls falling down at his feet but it was only a metaphor, never before had someone actually fallen over at his feet…or should it be over his feet. The impact surprising or not forced him to look away from the painting and the woman who had tripped up and what was that other saying…speak of the devil and the devil will come. With a small frown Harrison looked down at Felicity Locke as she tried muttered out an apology and picked up her books that where now littering the corridor floor. A small smile managed to crack on the Gryffindors face as he bent down and picked up the book that was closed to him turning it over a few times in his hands reading what was upon the cover.
“No need to apologise Miss Locke. I was not standing in the most convenient of places either.”
Harrison was not sure how he was managing to keep his voice so calm and even make it sound some what jovial, he really could surprise himself some times but then when was the last time (apart from that afternoon at the lake) has Harrison Greg wavered in front of a member of the opposite sex. Giving Fay a more convincing smile Harrison handed the book over towards her and blew his fringe out of his eyes so he could get a better look at the Ravenclaw. Suddenly his mind flicked to the moment when they first met in the rain and Fay way lying on the floor then.
“Now would I be wrong to presume you would like a hand up?”

Felicity was still muttering under her breath about bad luck or something when the person she tripped over spoke again. Blinking down at the book she was picking up, Fay finally realized who it was. Harrison Greg. Talk about Deja Vu.
"Yes, but I should've been paying more attention. So I believe I win this little blame battle."
She piled her books up and took the one he had handed to her, muttering a small thanks. Some students snickered as they walked by, noticing that she had fallen again. Fay had the urge to chuck a notebook at their heads, but just settled on throwing an icy glare in their direction. People were so devilish these days.
"Well, it depends." She grinned and held out her hand. "If you tug too hard I'll most likely fall over again. But too soft then you'll end up on the ground with me. Let's get it right the first time then shall we?"

What could be classified as a laugh escaped from Harrison when Felicity said that she had won their little blame batter and he was in no mood to argue with her. So instead he just nodded his head and looked over at the passing students as they laughed at the sight of Felicity on the floor. Harrison could see what was funny as it was easy to assume that someone who looked as beautiful as Fay would be as elegant however it seemed to be the complete opposite.
Pushing himself up Harrison and took hold of the hand that Felicity had extended towards him. With a small smile the Gryffindor looked down at the Ravenclaw and listened to what she had to say.
“Lets hope we do, I would hate to see the look on the passing students faces if they saw us lying on top of each other.” He gave her a cheeky wink. “What would Scott say?”
Tightening his grip around her hand a little more Harrison began the task of pulling her up. Well to put task would make it sound like hard work but not only was Felicity light Harrison had done this type of thing plenty of times before and so knew the exact forces to apply. Once they were both standing on their own two feet Harrison let go of her hand feeling slightly awkward holding it for longer then he should and gave her the quick once over finding it hard not to snigger at the dust that had been collected onto her clothes.

Felicity grinned at the laugh. Ha, awkwardness zero and Felicity one. Eat that hormones.
At the Scott comment, she quickly darted her gaze to her books. Huh, maybe secrets still did exsist in this school. Then again, she had only told Ash and Ellie about the break-up. Oh, and Bray, who nearly danced around the room when she told him. Yea, not like he was happy or anything.
"I don't know, perhaps you could tell me? I haven't seen him."
Felicity grimaced at the dust that had collected on her clothes, particularly on her back end. Stupid unclean corridor. She brushed off herself, and let out a small sneeze as some of the dust went up her nose.
"Thanks for that." She bent down to pick up her books, and tucked them underneath her arm again. Her eyes widened a bit and she looked back over to Harrison, as if the action had reminded her of something. "Um..did you manage to see a book I left behind after I left? I can't seem to find it anywhere."

Ok so maybe the mention of Scott had not been Harrison’s best choice in life and from the side ways glance back to her books that was soon followed by a rather short comment about the former Gryffindor Harrison could not help but smile and he tried his best not to let out a laugh. Down by the lake he had spend a while teasing Felicity about Scott and now he was hearing that she had not talked to him, this was why Harrison Greg did not deal with ’relationships’ far to complicated with unspoken rules which only caused arguments.
Although when he watched Felicity brush the dust off herself and then gave the small, cute little sneeze Harrison felt that same sort of feeling like he did down by the lake when he absentmindedly stroked the side of her face although this time he would not act upon it instead he looked down at his shoes and thought about how he would have to polish them later as they were starting to lose there shine.
“A notebook?” Harrison question as she mentioned about her quick disappearance at the lake, at the time he was a little more self conscious about the manor of their departing then to think if Felicity had left anything behind. “No sorry I…I went over to the other Gryffindors afterwards.”
He shrugged his shoulders and tried to carry on smiling if anything to cover up the slight feeling of guilt he had growing in side of him. If he had not acted so rashly or hurried off afterwards he might have spotted the book or Fay might not have forgotten it and the chances of it still being by the lake now were a million to one and that was not including the rain they had been having the past few days.
“Maybe one of your house mates found it after all we were close to Ravenclaw territory that day.”

Felicity brushed some of her hair out of her eyes and pushed Scott out of her mind. She didn't need to dump anything on Harrison, she already dished it out on Ellie. It was such a privelage to have girl friends like that.
Fay's face fell ever so slightly as he mentioned that he didn't find it. Well great, now she'd have to rewrite it all and figure out the tunes again. God her luck really sucked. At his other suggestion, she laughed.
"I doubt it. If they did it's long gone by now. Probably been framed or something. I can just see it now."
She swiped her hand in front of her face, as if showing off a headline.
"The secrets of Felicity Locke's life, now unfolded! What has the Ravenclaw veela been keeping from the world? Find out now!"
Felicity grimaced slightly. Her life was probably in that thing. Random sketches she just threw in there, some unfinished songs, a few letters to and from her family and several pictures. And maybe a few quick reminders to herself, or just some random thoughts that she just happened to write down. Please, please, please let someone she knew not find it. That would just be too embarrasing.

The look on her face explained it all when he mentioned that he had not found her notebook. Harrison could only guess what she had written in their but he guessed that the fact she was worried about it meant that something important was in their and when Felicity made some form of joke about it being framed a frown etched its way across his brow in slight confusion however luckily for Harrison Fay explained it some more and he could not help but laugh along.
“Now that would be an interesting headline.” He chuckled and the frown faded away and was replaced with a smile. “I would most defiantly buy that just to try and find the part when you confess your love for a bold and noble Gryffindor who on numerous occasions saved you by picking you up off the floor.”
Harrison gave Felicity a dashing smile and placed his hands on his hips almost like he was posing for someone to sculpt a statue of him. He was unsure if he was going slightly over the top, but it was the only way he knew how to act when trying to act normal, arrogant and full of self belief that everyone loves him. He feared that if he tried to act normally he would not even be able to look Felicity in the eye and was unsure if he would be able to stop himself from asking her why she had just left him…although he had a feeling why…he was coming on far to strong and she was scared.

Felicity blinked and looked back over to Harrison as he laughed. Was she unintentionally funny? Hmm, perhaps. Either that or her problems were just hilarious, which might be the case.
Fay cracked a smile at his comment and collasped against the wall, draping her hand over her face. "Oh no, you've found out my secret!" She moved her hand away, letting her face drop into a heart breaking expression. "Now the whole world will know of my infatuation! Oh the shame!" Fay let herself fall to the floor with a small sob.
Maybe Felicity was meant to be an actress, she certainly had the dramatic effect down. Her sob gave way into a fit of laughter, and she wrapped her arms around her stomach.
"Sorry to disapoint you, but I don't put things like that in there. You could search my dorm, I don't have a diary." She grinned. "If I did, the whole school would know all of my secrets by now."

Just like down at the lake Felicity was being her dramatic self showing that she would not be amiss in a muggle drama school. With a small laugh Harrison thought he might as well join in with the miniature amateur dramatics society that they had going on in the middle of the corridor. At Fay’s fake confession to her love of him Harrison put a hand over his heart and took in a sharp breath pretending to be shocked by the outburst and finding pain in her over dramatic sobs.
Harrison was slightly pleased that her sobs soon gave way to laughter as he was unsure he could keep up his own act with out bursting out into a bark of a laugh. They were already getting some funny looks from Ravenclaw’s that were passing to go towards their common room but Harrison knew that with a reputation like his he could actually get away with such a display defiantly when he was acting with such a beautiful co star.
“Well that is a shame.” Harrison chuckled as Fay mentioned she did not keep a diary. “I wanted to read about all your dark little secrets.” With a small wink the Gryffindor walked over towards the wall and slumped down landing on the floor next to the Ravenclaw with a slight bump. “Now if my diary was found I would never be able to live it down…it is pink for a start.”

Felicity cracked open one eye to glance at Harrison, and found it hard not to break out into laughter as he went along with her little act. Sure the Ravenclaws could stare, but that was probably only because Harrison was acting along with Fay. They had to be used to her already.
"Yes well, I'm horrible at hiding things and someone would most surely find it. I wouldn't be surprised if you charmed some girl into it." She raised an eyebrow at him, as if daring him to contradict her.
Fay laughed again as he described his own 'diary'. "Well, I would certainly hope that I'm mentioned somewhere in there." She grinned again and shifted so she was sitting on her knees. Felicity pretended to open an imaginary diary and began to write in it. "Dear Diary, today I met the strangest girl the other day. She was positively rude and just ran away from me!" Fay shut the imaginary book with a small huff, then smirked back at Harrison.
"Or maybe they'll be mention of a new crush of yours." She paused for a moment and tapped her chin. "On second thought maybe not. Because if any of your fangirls found it they would probably attack the poor girl." And, Fay seriously doubted if he crushed on anyone. He could probably get any girl he wanted, so why would he settle for one?

Harrison laughed as she mentioned that he would get someone to charm them to steal her diary. It was actually a very good plan and he was sure that if he found a ditzy enough Ravenclaw who would swoon over his toothy smile and lushes locks then maybe he would be able to…he had to stop himself right there. Why would he want to read Fay’s diary if she did have one? With a small shudder at the thought Harrison knew he needed to get out of this rather confusing mind state and act himself once again.
“So by saying that you are admitting I am charming then.” He shot Fay a small smile and blew his fringe out of his eyes. “I always knew you could not resist my charismatic ways.”
The small smile that graced his rugged features soon transformed into a laugh as Fay acted as she was reading his diary and recounting their meeting down by the lake. She had it all wrong if that was what she thought his opinion of her was, Fay was different from almost all the girls that normally talk to him, she treated him normally and he liked that. Shuffling around to sit cross legged opposite her Harrison was still laughing as he reached out and picked up the make-believe diary that was sitting on her lap. Pretending to flick through the pages he hummed to himself before and tapped this invisible page.
“Dear Diary, today I met a very lively Ravenclaw who strangely enough seemed to posses the ability to talk to me. It was very diverting although ended rather suddenly, maybe I was too forward and it scared her and for that I am sorry.” At the apology Harrison looked up and looked Fay straight in the eyes and paused before closing the imaginary diary. “God whoever wrote this was a bore.”
Harrison gave a small chuckle and threw the book over his shoulder and for some reason half expected to hear the thud of it landing on the corridor floor. That had to be one of the most serious Harrison had ever been and one thing he was sure on was that he did not enjoy it, he much rather be laughing and flirting then being serious.

"Mhm, sure. You're just copying off of me though." Felicity smirked over at Harrison as she said this. "I'm a veela, it comes naturally. So, I win." She didn't on his 'charming' comment, because she wasn't going to lie to him and tell him he was ugly. Fay just really one to tell a guy that he was cute, because that usually ended badly on her end.
Shifting her position, she made it so she was now sitting cross-legged, or indian style, much like him. Fay propped both of her elbows on her knees and watched as he 'flipped through' the imaginary diary. One eyebrow raised as he tapped some invisible page, as if trying to point out something to her. She tilted her head slightly, going along with his little charade. The two probably looked like idiots, sitting in the middle of the corridors staring at the floor.
What he said next, actually surprised her. She blinked slowly, before quickly looking down at her lap. A smile graced her features at his next comment. "I actually think it's rather sweet. And that Ravenclaw would say 'Apology Accepted'." Felicity grinned and pretended to gasp as he threw the book. "What if you hit someone with that? You should be more careful there." She tsk'd at him while waving a finger.
It was probably strange to most people, how well the two could get along. They had only one actual conversation, and here they were now, laughing and joking together. But, then again, that was so like Fay. Maybe it had to do with the fact that she was a veela, so people were naturally attracted to her. Or, perhaps, it was just her infectious personality, that no one could seem to ignore.
