Cameron had asked Amara to go the the Owlery for her. She was expecting a package from her mother, something to do with anniversaries and hobbit-like family that gives gifts to others at celebrations. Amara couldn't really understand what Cammy was saying as her nose was so blocked she was talking funny. Poor dear, Amara simply couldn't say no.
So there she was, a pair of tights on under her jeans and two shirts under her thick jersey and jacket. Amara wrapped her scarf on more securely as she started to climb the stairs to the Owlery, her hair tucked under the scarf. It was rather cold and Mar began to wonder why she had agreed to this at all. There were people coming down from the tower and Mara smiled at them as they passed.
When she reached the top, she took a step and slipped, but reached out instinctively. She grabbed something soft. She stabilised herself, with both feet firmly on the ground she looked to where her hand had grabbed and saw that she had grabbed someone. Quickly letting go, Amara stumbled backwards and slipped, falling on her rump. She groaned and rubbed the back of her head, she had hit it on the corner of the door frame.
"Sorry bout that," she groaned.

Dru was startled at whoever had grabbed her. Just barely catching her balance she saw the girl fall to the groud in front of her. Dru reached forward to help the girl up, "Don't worry about it, are you ok?" She asked.
Dru had just got done sending a letter off to home; it was very rare that she sent out letters, only having one family member outside of the school meant not a whole lot of writing. Dru's hair was in tight curls and was clinging to her face in the breeze. It was a jet black color with a small red highlights. She was wearing a pair of tight black pants tucked into her knee high boots, with a purple corset like top and a heavy, black jacket. It didn't look as if she was keeping very warm, with no scarf or gloves.
Being a metamorphmagus, Dru's eyes turned dark brown as the wind blew into them, making her throw her head to the side. Almost stumbling forward as she was trying to help the girl to her feet. One foot slid forward and kicked the bottom of the other girls foot. "Oy, sorry! Bloody wind!" She said as her eyes slowly turned back to the green color they were moments before.

When the girl Mara had bumped into her reached to help her up, Amara too reached to help the girl help her up. Trust this Ravenclaw to go head long into someone on an icy step. Amara couldn't say if she was ok, her head was throbbing and her vision was spinning a little but is soon stabilised, luckily.
Squeezing her dark eyes shut tightly, Amara groaned. "Yeah," she mumbled, "I think I'm alright. Head hurts but not as much as my bum." She rubbed her bottom with a hand. It was just her luck. She really didn't know why she had agreed to do this for Cammy. The wind began to blow, Amara's dark red hair blowing in her own face. She took tried to shake it out and when the girl's foot connected with her own, Mar laughed as she streched the other leg behind her to make sure she didn't fall again.
" 'Tis alright," Mara said the laughter still playing in her throat. "Bloomin' wind is a beast." With both her feet firmly on the ground, Amara slowly let go of the girl, hand's poised to grab hold again if she was to slip again. She didn't and slowly her hands moved to her sides and she straightened. When she was satisfied that she was securely upright and that her bottom wasn't going to connect with the hard floor again, she smiled broadly at the multi-hair coloured girl.
"Thanks," she said, giving her a radiant grin. Mar held out her hand, very business like, and smile a little more. "Name's Conway, Amara Conway." She had always chuckled when James Bond had introduced himself like that and she chuckled now too. She didn't know if the girl knew about James Bond but she enjoyed the joke.

Dru being a naturally clumsy person found it very hard to keep her balance. Amara finally got back up on her feet and got her own balance back, Dru still finding it hard to keep hers didn't want to move very fast. She was known for falling down, running into things, knocking things over, just being plan clumsy.
Dru readjusted her black jacket and pulled her hair back behind her ears. When reaching for the girls hand to introduce herself Dru felt as if she might fall again but was able to pull off a pretty normal hand shake, or so she though. Being a movie buff she figured Amara must be a Bond fan or maybe just liked to introduce herself that way. "I'm Drucilla Rosier, but everyone calls me Dru" She said as she shook the girls hand.
Dru didn't know any ravenclaws personally, she knew some by association but was never very friendly with them. She was more of a loner anyway, not to many people getting along with her high powered personality. However, Dru thought she was a very friendly person and would talk to just about anyone.

Amara was a little worried for half a second as she stood wit her hand extended to the strangely hair-coloured girl that she would not want to shake the hand that was offered. Mar knew she could come on a little strong some times but she thought that falling into and over someone was a very original tale of "so how did you two meet?". The half a second passed and the Hufflepuff shook her hand.
Amara beamed brightly at the girl, Dru. How lovely it was for the bookworm to meet someone knew. "Lovely to make your acquaintance," she said as she took a few steps into the Owlery. She didn't want to be standing in the doorway all morning, did she? She'd catch her death of cold if she did, that was for sure, then Cammie's package would go unposted and Mar would not be able to forgive herself.
Looking back at Dru, Mara's right eye brow raised and she gave her a bemused smile. "Sorry, Dru," she said after a moment, "were you coming ... or going?" Her head automatically tilted to the one side as she asked. It was a habit that Amara found hard to shake and when she realised she had done it again she quickly straightened completely.
A slight pinch formed in the center of the Ravenclaw's forehead as she thought on the habits she had formed. She buried her hands in her pockets and her hand touched something cold and hard. Her hand sprung out of her pocket and she jumped slightly. Suddenly, and with utter embarrassment, she realised that it was only the package she had agreed to deliver. Sighing and smiling awkwardly at the Hufflepuff, Mara took it out of her pocket and looked at it.
[[ sorry i took so long to reply, haven't been on as amara in ages ]]
