With every step she took, Abigail was taking in more and more of her new school. By now she had figured out how to get to three of her classes, without getting lost. But, she was on the venture to find her fourth one, and so far, she was doing good. Abby felt like an idiot as she made her way down the corridor, looking at every door, hoping it would hold her next class. She felt like a first year again, scared and unsure. Why did the family have to move? Oh yeah, so Uncle Dave could get a buck more each hour.
The corridors began emptying, and Abigail could tell she wasn't going to make it to her class on time. Again. The last time this had happened, she had wandered off into the grounds, thinking that the Green House was out there, and met Gray Deluca, a fellow Hufflepuff. Doors began slamming, and talk had ceased. "Oh no.." She mumbled, taking off in a run down the corridor.
AJ had no idea where she was going, but she was going somewhere. Somewhere off in the distant, she thought she heard a bell. But she wasn't quite sure if that was her imagination, or if it was the real deal. Sighing, Abby gave up, and stopped running to nowhere. There was no use now, she was late. And she most likely wasn't going to find her class either. Luck seemed to like to mess with Abigail.
Walking down the corridor, she could hear professors talking, students answering, but she never picked up the subject she needed to be in. At one point, she was just going to walk in, and sit down, acting like nothing was wrong. But of course, Abigail didn't have the guts to do that.
Out of no where, Abby sneezed, causing her to not pay attention to where she was going, which resulted in her tripping over a loose stone (or floor board, which ever the ground may be made of) . Her books scattered everywhere; papers flying, quills rolling across the floor. Jumping up, she immediately began gathering her stuff up, embarrassed, even though no one was watching. Or at least, she thought no one was.[/color]
