It was late afternoon, and Will had no more classes to teach for the rest of the day. The morning had been crammed with Lessons and he didn’t even have time to go to Lunch, but luckily Daniel Hubbles had noticed he was missing and after lunch, brought him a few bits of food to keep him going. Finishing his last class a girl stayed behind to ask him about the homework he had set for over the weekend. He ha repeated this over five times to the entire class, so sighing, he told her again.
“All I want you to do is meditate, and clear your mind, that’s it! But I will be able to tell if you’ve done it or not, so make sure you at least try” he said tilting his head a little, and sitting on the edge of his desk. The girl cradled her books and nodded, before quickly exiting the classroom. Watching her leave, she closed the door and he just smirked and shook his head. If they had to be told how to Meditate then there was no hope for them, although there were a couple of students who seemed to have the knack of it, which pleased him. Tidying his desk quickly, he picked up his quill and put it in the back pocket of his jeans before picking up a pile of books that sat at his desk of all different era’s and sizes. Checking the classroom was clean enough to his liking, he closed the extremely large window and took in the view before pulling down the blind. Walking down the short classroom, he twisted the door handle and let it fall open. Before turning himself around and pulling the door back on itself. With a creek, the door shut loosely and Will began the arduous trek of walking down the stairs and numerous corridors before reaching the great hall.
Lightly stepping down the trip of steps that led him from out of his classroom, he turned left to make his way down the dark corridor, even though it was blessed with plenty of Windows, it seemed a if no light shone through them. Clutching he pile of books, and balancing them under his arm with some skill it seemed, Will walked past the girl that had just stopped behind after class to ask him a question. Raising an eyebrow as he saw her with her friends whispering and giggling, he walked past and smiled.
“Don’t you have potions now ladies?” he asked more concerned about them getting detention from the professor if they didn’t get their bums into gear. He thought about earlier in the week where Dan Hubbles had seamlessly followed him unknowingly to the whomping willow and his stalker Sandra was soon then afterwards. The thought of her made him laugh again. Turning the corner where the girls were stood, dodging them, he almost bumped into someone else. “Sorry” he apologised.

After his lessons had finished for the morning, Kelvyn took to his office to finish up a paper he was working on. Though he may have given up travelling for the time being, he was still a researcher at heart and would always be looking into the Runes, trying to find deeper meanings and prove his theory right. Though he knew it wouldnt always be that easy. Kelvyn had searched the entire world for things to do with Runes but kept coming up short, there must be something he was missing.
He looked up to the portrait of his mother who seemed to be smiling down at him, pushing his reading glasses away from his eyes so he could rub them. His eyes werent half tired. He heard a ruckus outside his office so standing up, he put his glassed back on the table and went outside to investigate. He found two of his own students fighting, two Gryffindors non the less, if it were a Slytherin and a Gryffindor, he would understand but not two Gryffindors. "Why on mother earth are the two of you fighting?" He asked the boys who looked back at the professor as though ashamed. "Go on, off to your next lesson, be of with you!"
Kelvyn turned on his heel and went back into his study. Looking over the papers once more, the text had faded in some of the scriptures he was trying to decipher. His whole life works were crammed into books, folders and drawings. It had taken him a long time to find out these things but he was more knowledgeable now because of it, and he had seen the world. The beauty, the splendour. Though still, there was a lot more to be done, nothing he would ever finish in his lifetime.
With that, he removed everything off his desk and put it in the safe behind his mothers portrait. He smiled up at her as she smiled back, the resemblance between the two of them was striking. "Keep it safe mother." He smiled as he turned to leave his office. Locking the door behind him he began to walk, it had been twenty years since he had stepped foot within these walls, and this was only his first week. As he rounded a corner someone nearly walked into him. "That is quite alright young man." He smiled, "I did not startle you or anything did I?"

Almost dropping his books in the process of walking around the corner, he managed to regain the balance of them under his arm and gave the fellow Professor a smile.
“No, not really. Nothing a nice cold drink wouldn’t be able to fix anyway” he said, flicking his hair away from his eyes. Looking at the man carefully for a moment, he realised he hadn’t seen him around the castle in the past two weeks that he had been there, making him wonder if he was the new Runes teacher.
“Are you Professor Saunders? The Ancient Runes teacher?” he asked, raising his eyebrow a little in anticipation. His smile had vanished and had now turned into a face of curiosity. If it was who he questioned it to be, Will had great respect for the bloke and all he had achieved throughout his years of being in Ancient Runes. The man had achieved wonders, and yet he probably didn’t know he had left a mark on the subject.
Watching as the horde of girls come passed and begin giggling and waving at him again, he watched as they walked past and humoured them by returning the smiles and waves. Waiting until they were out of earshot, he turned back to the man and awaited his answer.

"Ah yes," Kelvyn smiled, "A good old fashioned cold drink. Nothing quite like it I do believe"
Kelvyn didnt have his studies on him at the minute and found himself feeling quite lost without them. His studies meant the world to him, and he was never truly at ease unless he was surrounded by books of the Runes or his own work. He missed the open road where he could go anywhere, travelling was what made this subject so fun for him, he realised now he had enjoyed it when he was a student, but you never truly get the feel unless you go out there and actually see the temples themselves.
He looked at the professor he knew to be the Occlumency Professor. True, Kelvyn had not been here very long but he was well aquainted with the professors and who they were thanks to Professor Darrow. He was about to answer when a hoard of giggling girls came passed and started to wave at Will. With a small smirk he looked upon the faces of the females before the turned and left.
"Looks like somebody has got himself a fanclub," Kev laughed, "I do believe the answer to your question would be a yes, I am Professor Saunders but please, call me Kelvyn."
He looked at Will, he knew him from hearing his name so many times passing through the corridors when hoards of girls would be giggling about him. Kelvyn thought the whole thing strange though knew he shouldnt keep pursuading their fancy, call Kev old fashioned but pushing a crush that can never be will only lead to heartbreak on these poor girls. Or something like that.
"Have you been told who I was then, I take it?"
