Today was going to be a wonderful day to look at the stars. She could just feel it. Plus, she needed some time away from the all too hectic common room. And people actually thought that Ravenclaws were mellow, ha! Just take a look in the dorms and they would certainly thin different.
Felicity snuck out of the common room and glanced back, making sure no one was following her. She made a break for the stairs and started to run up as fast --and quiet-- as she could. No teachers seemed to be coming around the corners, so she was safe for now.
She reached the tower in record time, and was happy to find that no one else was up there. Fay moved to one of the walls not facing the windows and leaned against it. She stayed silent for a moment, listening for the sound of any footsteps or anything. Nothing, that was good.
Now this was truly amazing. Felicity leaned her head back and gazed up at the stars. With one hand, she started to trace the stars, making little pictures in the sky. Her father and her always did this, look at the stars together. They would just sit up on the rooftops and pick out the pictures they could see, while Christi Locke scolded them for being too dangerous.
Fay stretched one hand up to the sky and closed it, like she was trapping a star in her grasp. A small smile tugged at her lips. Still thinking she could trap the stars, she was such a little kid.

Dawna had been keeping herself quiet since she first started Hogwarts. She hadn't really made any friends as such, just ones who asked for homework help. She was little miss know-it-all and everyone took advantage. She was bound to be bullied sooner rather than later, and she'd let it happen. Bored, she huffed and walked out of the Ravenclaw common room quietly, deciding she would go and get some air, but from the Astronomy tower instead of making a racket with opening the entrance doors at this time. She clambered up the stairs, there was no way she could ever take them two at a time as she was so petite. Eventually she had reached her destination, and noticed the door was ajar. How odd she said, frowning a little. She peeked through and pushed it open slightly without making a sound to see a Fellow Ravenclaw there. She had seen her in the Common room before, but had never spoken to her. Suddenly coming over her shyness, she blurted out; "You try and catch them too" finally revealing herself fully.

Felicity had been lost in the stars, she was barely aware that she was still sitting up on the school tower. The stars had captivated her. They were beautiful, not that artificial beauty that some people tried hard to achieve. Not like how people thought veelas were beautiful, people who thought she was beautiful. This was true beauty.
The door creaked, and Fay felt herself tense. But, her hand was still stretched out, unknowingly. But, it was not a teacher's voice that greeted her. It was a student's. Blinking, she slowly lowered her hand and propped herself up with one arm. She turned to see the girl. A Ravenclaw, first year if Fay remembered correctly.
"Excuse me?"
She opened her hand and glanced down at her palm. No star, what a surprise. Felicity looked back up at the first year again, a small grin found on her face. She held up her hand and wiggled her fingers at the girl.
"I know it's silly, but I can't help but daydream a bit right?"
Fay patted the spot next to her and layed back on the ground again. She used one of her arms as a pillow, and used her other hand to trace the stars again.
"I'm Felicity Locke by the way."

Dawna smiled as the Ravenclaw realised she was there. Dawna still did that thing, getting lost in the stars and forgetting just about everything. She used to try and reach for stars too, but gave up after realising she would never grasp one...Unless she wanted to burn her hand off. As Felicity patted the spot next to her, Dawna took a few steps closer after she shut the door gently. Did the girl want her to sit with her? Maybe it was a trick. Dawna just stood there and fiddled with her hands. "Hi Felicity, I'm Dawna Forn" she replied, returning the quick hand gesture of a hello. Her body had stiffened, however she decided that the girl would of told her to go away by now if she didn't want her here, so she took to where Felicity had just patted and sat down cross legged. She sat for a moment in silence, not knowing what to say to her. "So erm, can't you sleep either?" she pondered. Why couldn't Dawna sleep anyway? She didn't know the answer to that.

Wow, someone that honestly wasn't surprised when they heard her name. She should talk to First Years more often. It was nice not having someone know every rumor said about you, or everything you had done all through the school year.
"Dawna? Pretty name. I guess it fits then, you have a very pretty face." Fay grinned up at the girl, because she was still laying on the ground. The girl had some sort of innocence to her face, and her actions. She seemed shy even, hence why she hesitated before. Well, Fay would just have to fix that.
"That's one reason, but the main one is that I just had a feeling the stars would look nice tonight." She glanced at the girl, then back up at the sky. "Call it a hunch if you will." It was like Bray, when he randomly knew it would rain. Maybe it was some freaky cat thing that she didn't know about.
"So, Dawna, how have your first few months in Hogwarts been? Scared out of your wits yet?" She flashed the girl a large grin and laughed, quietly though so no one would hear them. Felicity's first months at Hogwarts were..interesting to say the least.
The first week of the term some older years thought it would be funny to prank the little veela. Big mistake. Teachers had found the students later, all soaking wet from their little trip in the lake. Fay was no idiot, she knew how to handle herself.

When Felicity said Dawna had a pretty name, and followed it on complimenting her, Dawna flushed and turned away with a little smile. She'd never really been called pretty before, she was just always, well, there. Nothing stuck out about her. Nothing at all. Felicity seemed a little suprised when she had a feeling about the stars coming out. Dawna had been doing 'sky math' as she liked to call it, and by her calculations, the stars weren't meant to be very visible, but she must of gotten it wrong. "Oh...Well they are very pretty tonight indeed" she said, turning her top half around to look out at the glittering specs, that's when Felicity asked about her first few months at Hogwarts, and whether she had been harrased yet. Dawna looked back to her. "Oh well, it's been okay I guess. Nobody really pays any attention to me, unless they want help with something. I'm sure it won't be long before the Slytherin's decide to de-face my presence" she said huffing and pulling her knees up close to her chest.
