Victoria walked into the room and it was so very dark. Knowing she needed to immediately rectify that she pointed her wand at the blinds each one rising slowly until there was sunlight streaming into the room from every angle. Bright and airy that was the kind of environment she wanted to teach her students in. Plus with all the sunlight sneaking in there might be less chance for them to fall asleep.
Giggling to herself she walked over to the board and wrote the words Ancient Magic History. Figuring that should pique some interests, she placed the chalk down in its holder and walked back to her desk to sit and wait. A nice mug of hot coffee sat waiting for her, as she took her first sip she happily closed her eyes and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the moment.

Alessa wandered in to the bright classroom and shielded her eyes for a moment to adjust from the dull corridors to the the radient walls of the classroom. She made her way to near the front of the class and sat near the side. "Morning Professor" She said smiling at her, as Alessa put her bag onto the desk and got her things out ready for class.

Cristian, loving anything to do with any sort of History, was grinning like a cheshire cat, knowing he was going to excel highly in this class. He enjoyed anything about Historical events, and being about magic was going to be even more interesting. He opened the door that lead to History Of Magic, and saw only one student sat there so far. He smiled, glad that he was one of the first. He sat near to the from, causing attention to him from the student and the Proffesor. "Hello Professor, ...Hi" he said looking at the Hufflepuff. She replied the same and looked away and doodled. "Professor, I have papers for you from my previous school" he said, pulling them out from his pocket and handing them to her, before she decided she didn't know his face.

Victoria was enjoying the quiet, though she knew it wouldn't last long. The coffee made its way down her throat and made her feel instantly better. Caffeine had a way of doing that to you, she knew it was bad for her but she just couldn't resist it. The quiet time was short-lived though as the first student showed up. Vicky set her mug down and smiled sweetly to her when she said good morning. Vicky watched as Alessa prepared herself for class.
Then another boy walked in this one she didn't know Vicky offered up another smile just as the boy handed her some papers apparently these were his transfer papers. She checked that everything was in order "welcome Cristian I am professor Potter. Please have a seat and when some more students show up we will begin"

Bradyn walked into the classroom rather slowly, as there were countless things that he would prefer to be doing rather than attending a History of Magic lesson. But, none the less, he walked in and took a spot near the back and pulled the heavy textbook out of his bag. When he looked up to greet the professor, he gaped at her for a moment before finally catching himself looking like a fool. For a moment, he thought that his sister had been subbing in for the class, but then he remember how much the professor resembled her. "Good Morning, Ma--Professor Potter."
As he read the board he smiled a bit. 'Anceient magic, ay? Perhaps some long-dead magic will actually be interesting. If we're even luckier, we might get to do some wandwork.' He thought as he pulled a quill out and twirled it in his fingers. Bray's thoughts soon switched from the class to a certain girl that he might meet later, or maybe in this very classroom.

History of Magic was one of the subjects which Girty found interesting but she could never remember any of the facts when it came to sitting the exam. For her final exam last year she had no idea who Brigadier Boris was and nothing about his encounter with a Gytrash so she found herself writing almost two roles of parchment about how silly it was for some to even go near a Gytrash let alone encounter one. Clear she must have stumbled across some truth in her rambling as she managed to just scrap an A grade…but for Dan that would not do.
Because of this Girty pushed open the door to the History of Magic classroom and looked around. There was a small gathering of students already and with a sheepish smile at the Professor Girty made her way towards the back of the classroom, sliding her bag off her shoulder and slouched down in her chair and waited for the lesson to start.

Vicky couldn't deny her happiness when two more students walked in. Of all the subjects in the world she knew history of magic wasn't the most popular. She hated that but she knew that if given the chance she could try to make it interesting, involving the students more than her professors did for her when she was a student.
As Bradyn walked in she could sense that I don't want to be here vibe but he was there which was saying something. As he too addressed her she smiled though she couldn't shake the feeling he was about to say something else, but Girty Hubbles walked in and her mind wandered to her brother. Another smile appeared this one more pronounced and almost dream like. Until she realized where she was and shook her head to snap out of it.
The class was still kind of small and she didn't want to get started until some more students showed up but she was also afraid that this was it. She tried not to take offense as she had the last time, but she wanted her class to be a success and so far it hadn't been turning out that way.
Standing she moved around her desk and leaned against the edge crossing one leg in front of the other she looked at her class. "I'll just give it a couple more minutes to see if anyone else shows then we'll go ahead and start class."

As if sensing the professor's desire for more students - which quite possibly could've been the truth - Erys Grace entered the room in all her beauty and grace, almost gliding over to her seat at the back of the room. "Professor." She greeted the woman curtly, as she did with most if not all the teachers, excluding Hanzel and Vance. Those two were just brilliant. It was too bad that Cassidy Gainnes didn't teach Ancient Runes anymore, she loved that woman. A Slytherin like herself, and so wise.. A pity that everyone she looked up to managed to disappear.
Whisking her wand with a quick flourish, Erys summoned her supplies, nodding with satisfaction as a small ink jar, a raven-feathered quill, and fresh parchment appeared on the table before her. Performing the daily routine - opening the bottle, dipping her quill in, and writing her notes in beautiful script - with ease, she then looked up and nearly arched an eyebrow, waiting for the lesson to begin. "Those who fail to learn their history are condemned to repeat it." Erys quoted with hint of a smile, for the professor's benefit more than anything. Surprising, really. Perhaps she just wanted the class to get started.[/color]

As Erys entered the room Victoria smiled at her. She prided herself on being a professor who didn't let house pride get in the way. As far as she was concerned all the students were equal whether they believed it or not. In her opinion all that hoopla over houses just caused more division among an already clearly divided school. She didn't want that at least not in her own classroom so she would do her best to make everyone feel just the same.
"OK well it's a smaller class than I was hoping for but for those of you here I do hope I can make it interesting. So as you can see on the board today we will be discussing ancient magic history. It's all connected everything we do here all the magic that we know now. Some of our very basic spells were created by wizards some just as old as you are now. Now can anyone give me an account of magical history, it doesn't have to be anything too great could be the simplest thing" she wanted them to feel able to participate, not have her talking at them all lesson that was just dull, conversation, debate that's what made classes fun at least they did for her when she was younger.
