Candy walked to the lake, her eyes matched her dark red hair, Candy had just received a letter from her brother Tom saying that their father was in the hospital and was really sick.Even was sure that he was going to be OK, she was scared of loosing her dad like she lost her mom.
Candy's mom died giving birth to her, so candy unlike her brothers never knew how other's touch felt, or how her laugh sounded like, so loosing her father the scariest thing ever.
Candy wanted to talk to Ace or Lexi since they were her only friends they weren't around and she didn't feel like looking for them she didn't feel like flying her firebolt no matter how much she loved the air on her face when she flew around the quidditch pitch.
"oh God" she said in between her hands letting a tears fall, she wiped them quickly thanking that her make up didn't came off unless with the special liquid, her hair in a ponytail and her eyes and nose pink. she paced around and then leaned against a tree and looked at the lake the sunset just a few hours away, Candy wished she had someone to talk to so she could forget about her problem at least for a while.

Dru was out enjoying a walk around the grounds, sometimes she liked to just go off on her own and enjoy a nice, cold morning at Hogwarts. Her hair was a bright color red this morning and her eyes were purple. The wind hit her face and bruched her hair out of her eyes, it was very cold but felt good, it kind of jolted her and woke her up a little.
She noticed someone out of the corner of her eye, the girls red hair was what got her attention. She pulled her robes up closer to her face to block the wind as she started walking towards the girl. "You have a great hair color!" Dru said to the girl with a smile. The girl looks a little upset, but Dru tried to mind her own business. "I'm Dru, I don't think we have met before. I'm a Hufflepuff."

As Candy stood there mourning she hear a voice "You have a great hair color!" Candy turned around to see a girl with beautiful purple eyes and bright red hair "I'm Dru, I don't think we have met before. I'm a Hufflepuff."the girl said, " Thanks, I love your eyes they're so cool" Candy exclaimed " I'm Candy by the way from Ravenclaw" she responded, wiping her eyes once more and giving the hufflepuff a smile. "Oh I'm sorry that I'm such a mess but you know...well I had better days" Candy said adding a small chuckle at the end" What year are you in?" Candy asked the hufflepuff.

Dru could tell the girl must have been very upset about something. It was the kind of look that Dru knew very well. "Thanks, I'm fond of this color, and of blue. I'm a 6th year." Replied Dru, the bag over her shoulder was overly stuffed and it felt as if it was getting heavier by the second, she set it down on the ground by the tree while pulling out a yellow and blue scarf and wrapping it around her neck. "I think we all have those days. The ones where we say 'I have had better'. Whats making your day so bad?" Dru asked, hoping that Candy wouldn't think she was imposing.

" Wait you can change the color of your eyes?" Candy asked interested. "Cool I'm a 5th year" Candy stated as she watched Dru tie a scarf around her neck. Candy hesitated answering Dru's question Well last time it felt good when I shared what was wrong, it can hurtshe thought " Well I just received a letter from my brother and it said that my dad is in the hospital, and well I know he is going to be OK, and I want to see him but he will never let me miss school and my brothers see him all the time but I still get worried from time to time you know?" Candy finished putting on her dark blue jacket.

Dru knew as soon as she heard what was upsetting Candy that it was a feeling she new all to well. Well, I know how you must feel. I lost my mum when I was 10, my dad, well I don't know where he is. Its not easy! that much I know Dru sat down at the base of the tree, there used to be a time when she never wanted to talk about her parents, but now she feels that it makes her feel better to get her feelings out.
The wind seemed to me dying down a little, Dru closed her eyes and held her head into the wind. "Yeah I'm a metamorphmagus, I change my hair and eyes mostly."

"Oh that's so cool" Candy replied when Dru said she was a metamorphmagus, Candy looked at the lake for a moment and then sat down on the grass her eyes had this dreamy looked as she looked at the sky and then she truned her pink eyes back to Dru " Yeah... My mom died when I was born, and well my dad and my brothers is all I have"Candy said softly letting the wind brush her face "Do you have any siblings?"

Dru felt a slight twitch in her stomach, she would do anything to have just one of her parents back. "I don't have any siblings, I live with a close family friend, the Nickels. The closest thing to a brother I have is Roe nickels, he is a Gryffindore." Dru scrunched up her nose as she looked up at the sun. She couldnt imagine life without her "Aunt" Nickels and Roe.
She knew that in this day and age it wasn't hard to find someone who has in the same family situation that she was. "How old is your brother"

Candy listened to Dru she couldn't imagine a life without her dad and brothers "oh" she said simply "I have 3 brothers actually Ben is 19, T.V 20 and Felix 21, I'm the youngest and only girl in my family" Candy ended and then chuckled " You must think I'm a brat or something, you know winying about my problems when there's other people with other problems" Candy ended

Dru's eyes got huge, No, no! Your not a brat. Yeah some people have it worse, but i don't think my life is any worse then anyone elses. Dru always looked on the brighter side of everything. She held the family she had so close to her, she was thankful that Roe and her "aunt" were in good heath, Candy didn't even have that right now.
She smiled at Candy and shook her hair around a little, Nah, everyone has a right to break down. She said, trying to change the mood around, So wow, three brothers! that must be fun!

Candy smiled when Dru tried to change the mood of the conversation, Candy stared for a moment at Dru's hair and then answered "Well yeah we were all in different houses and we all play different quidditch positions, I happen to be the ravenclaw beater" Candy added proudly she loved quidditch and she loved beign beater and couldn't wait for practice to start." But is not fun all the time because I'm the only girl and the youngest one so they bother me at times but it could be worse" She ended with a smile Dru's plan to change the mood had worked with Candy becase she was happy again.

Dru loved Quidditch, she had always thought it would be great fun to play on a team but just didn't think she was good enough. "Thats cool, being a quidditch player is no easy thing, or so everyone says! I wouldnt really know. said Dru as she thought to her self. Being the youngest would suck sometimes, but it must be nice to have brothers!
Being the youngest just means you have more right to be spoiled haha Laughed Dru, she was happy that Candy was starting to look happier.
