They had almost made it back to the common room, when someone else had joined the party. Felicity glanced back, noting Ash's eyes glaze over. She quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him to her side. He'd do something stupid in this state.
Felicity's gaze snapped back to the Ministry woman. She pursed her lips for a moment, not exactly liking the way that Ministry lady looked at them. Smirking, like she was better than them or something.
Fay pulled out a grin. "My friend here was sleepwalking and I had to go after him so he didn't hurt himself." She shrugged lightly and pushed some hair from her face. "And that is the honest to goodness truth." This was a Ministry Woman they were speaking to. Fancy words wouldn't get them out. And neither would running. She'd just have to take her punishment.

Ash felt something grab his arm, he tugged out of the person's grip, and still asleep, started towards the railing looking down to the floor below. Ash gripped the railing, and pulled himself up, and straddled the railing like he was going to climb over it!

Felicity's eyes widened as Ash removed himself from her grip. She glanced back to the Ministry Woman for a moment, then gasped as she saw what Ash was attempting. "Ash don't! You could get hurt."
Fay ran over and wrapped her arms around Ash's waste and tugged back, in an attempt to pull him off the railing. Because of Felicity's work as a beater, and her obvious fit nature, she was probably stronger than her friend. Hopefully she was at least.

Ash frowned as he felt someone's arms lock around his waist, and tug him back, what were they doing? Ash struggled against the arms locked around his waist, but lost his balance and fell back towards the floor...

Felicity gave one final tug, and stumbled back as Ash fell back into her. She didn't realize how close she was to the wall, and her head slammed against it.
Fay slumped to the side, and seemed to not move again. Her head had smacked hard enough to render her unconscious, so there she lay, unmoving.

Ash tumbled to the floor, and felt his skull crack against the stone. Opening his eyes he looked around. "What happened?" then he saw Fay, slumped against a wall. "Fay!"
