Mayella was currently in the process of setting up her next lesson, one she spent a bit of work into setting up. Whistling while she worked, she went through levitating five large and very heavy boxes around on her desk and she even had to use the engorgio spell on said desk so that they could all fit. The boxes were elaborately decorated and obviously showed that May was bored and transfigured them to death. All the way to the left was a maroon box with cerulean latticing, next was a red box with gold latticing, a yellow box with black latticing, a blue box with bronze latticing, and finally the green box with silver latticing. Each house was clearly represented, and the other one being a demonstration meant to represent Professor Reed herself.
Once each box was in place and a key was placed on top of the maroon and cerulean box, May turned towards the tables and prompty began to rearrange them into four row similar to the seating in the Great hall. Each table was covered in a tablecloth that corresponded with each house to signal for the students to sit by house rather than with their mixture friends. With the room finally set up, and half of the work of this lesson over, she sighed lightly and walked to the board and picked up the piece of white chalk before fluently writing 'Unlock the secrets of your heart". The mystifying and cheesey phrase seemed to fit her lesson very little, and that's why she had it on the board at that moment. To confuse people.
Finding that everything was ready except for the fact that her classroom was all but empty, May smiled and pulled a book out of her desk drawer and sat behind the desk, almost completely hidden by the bulk of the boxes on top of it. Leaning back against the wall with her copy of Pride and Prejudice. How unusually girlie of her, must be from the excitement about her lesson.

It was highly unusual for her to be the first person to arrive for a lesson, which was why Erys Grace surprised even herself by arriving for Transfiguration to find she was numero uno in attendance. Arching an eyebrow while muttering a quick 'hm', she strode further in to the room, flicking her eyes about as she noticed the colours and tables. Seemed like these were part of the lesson. "Professor." The animagus greeted her with a calm nod, as she knew Reed was a Ministry worker and might have relations with her mother. Taking a seat at the Slytherin table, she waited for her friends to arrive, hesitant to summon her supplies in case this lesson was more.. Active, so to speak.
Glancing at the chalkboard, Erys was even more intrigued - or perhaps dulled - at the strange Unlock the secrets of your heart written there. At this, her eyebrow nearly shot off her forehead. Wasn't this supposed to be a Transfiguration lesson? Sure, there had been a few times with other classes where the teachers just had a nice big sit down and talk session, but still, the message along with the room arrangement had her curious as to what Reed was planning. Just have to wait and see, she guessed.[/color]

Alexis couldn't help it the smile that popped up on her face as she looked over at her schedule and noticed that she would be taking transfiguration next. It was probably her most favorite class in the whole wide world. This is one time she couldn't wait. Entering the room she saw the professor and smiled at her before turning and seeing who else was already there. Sometimes Alexis had to admit she hated sharing classes with Slytherins but since there was no choice in the matter she was sure to sit herself as far away from miss Grace.
Sitting in a seat near the front she placed her ruck sack down taking out everything she would need for the lesson. Then sat back waiting for the rest of her classmates to arrive so that hopefully they could have an unbelievable lesson. At least she hoped it would be a great lesson.

Ellie basically skipped to class. Transfiguration always put a smile on her face, but today the smile was extra large. You see the day before had been filled with classes Ellie could do without, basically, no wand use classes. Boring, and not to mention dangerous considering Care of Magical Creatures had been one of those classes.
However, up for a sparkling new day, Ellie bounced in the class room, her dark hair in soft waves along her solders, a ribbon tying up the top half out of her eyes. Her bright eyes gazed around the room, and her smile faded slightly as she saw Erys, but she was determined to keep her happy mood going. Erys wouldn't have any control over it.
Ellie nodded to the Ravenclaw also in the room and then headed toward the front of the room. She glanced over at the desk and caught a glimpse of the Professor reading. Ellie smiled, and decided not to bother her, she looked like she was enjoying her book. However, she did notice the boxes in the row, and for the first time, the tables in stead of the desks.
Ellie smiled as her eyes fell upon the yellow and black box, and getting the idea, sat at the table in line with the Hufflepuff box. Sitting close to the front of the room, she placed her books down and sat smiling, starring out a window a head of her.

Angel was in a fowl mood, she was nursing a scratch from her kitten Zara. Not that she blamed the cat, no the poor thing acted in fear as one of the menacing Slytherin girls came barreling into her room snarling like a beast scaring the poor kitten half to death. The poor thing tried to escape from the crook of Angel's arms and in the process dug claws into her owner as she tried to find footing to leap off and hide under the bed. Angel didn't even have time to heal herself because she was going to end up late for class. As it was she had to spring to make it there on tine. The cut still slightly bleeding.
Walking into class she spotted several boxes on the professors desk, and one best friend. Gliding along the rows of desks she reached Erys in no time. "I need to heal this scratch, poor Zara got frightened beyond belief. Episkey" she whispered and watched the cut close itself but she had to take a napkin and wipe away the rest of the blood. "Well my day's off to a rousing start how about you?"
Taking a look around she noticed innocent little Ellie Rook and her mouth curled up into a sneer, then as she caught the words on the board the sneer became more pronounced. "What's that rubbish" she asked Erys quietly.

As soon as her book started to become more interesting and exciting, she started to hear the shuffling of parchment and bookbags as the students started to shuffle in and prepare for the usual boring Transfiguration practice of the day. With a little frown of disappointment, May dog-eared the page of her book then tossed it loosely into one of her drawers full of unknown knick-knacks and she glanced out to the class. "Good morning, Miss Grace." She said with a small fake smile and was reminded of her horribly bitchy mother. "I do hope your mum is well." May was always pleasant, even if it meant biting down her feelings. Then taking a scan across the room she saw another slytherin, and a dear Ravenclaw, then the adorable little Ellie Rook. "And good morning to you too, ladies."
Overhearing Miss Juliette's little comment about her board, she couldn't help but smirk. "Rubbish? Dear me, someone's a downer." She said before glancing around to the students and deciding that she would put this little rebellious Slytherin back in her place. No one shall be talking like that behind her back in her class room. "But do you honestly think that Miss Grace would know the answer to that question? No one knows what I'm going to do today, so maybe you best keep quiet and wait for class to start before judging my lessons."
And with that said, she stood back up and walked around the desk to sit next to the Hufflepuff chest and face little Miss Rook. 'Wonder if Bradyn will show, that would be so adorable!' May thought, though if anyone ditched this class it would be him since it was his mastery and there was little she could teach him that she hasn't already.

Ellie rolled her eyes at the Slytherin's comment. She took a deep breath and exhaled. Ellie couldn't believe that she was getting so riled up lately about Slytherins. The usually easy going girl was finding it very hard to ignore their comments and rude behavior. She wasn't sure where all her feelings were leading, but they were definitely pooling in her mind.
Trying to force a smile as Professor Reed sat in front of her, she decided that she wouldn't let the Slytherin's ruin her good mood, brought on by this class. She can't go through everyday sullen that she had to deal with Slytherins. It was just that, they had to be dealt with.
It was strange to look up to Professor Reed, Bradyn's sister. He had talked about her a few times, merely in a sister kind of way. Now, as Ellie was sitting in her class, she couldn't help but remember the time Bray had told her about his sister's torture in the sandbox as a small child. To get the picture out of her mind Ellie brought up a question. "So, what are we doing today?" She asked, innocently smiling, the sandbox vanishing from her mind as she concentrated on the lesson at hand.

Chasity was hurrying along the corridors, searching for the Transfiguration classroom. She'd been here for a couple years now, and still got lost. She'd seen some girls going into a room, and decided to follow them. When she poked her head in the classroom, she looked around, then walked in. "This is transfiguration, right?" Chase asked, biting her lip. One girl nodded, so she walked over to Alexis and took a seat beside her.
Chase had always liked Transfiguration, so she was excited. She dug around in her unorganized bag, until she found one of her non-broken quills, and placed it on her desk. Next, she decided that since this was a class that required a wand, she should probably find hers. Chase took it out of her pocket and laid it on the desk.

Splat, went the water balloon that landed nearly five feet from her. Water moving slowly toward her feet so that she had to move away not wanting to get her new shoes wet. The ghosts in the school were completely unruly. Most of the time she just shrugged it off they didn't bother her much but now having a water ball pelted at her didn't sit well, but she had to get to class so she had no time to get her revenge. "I'll deal with you later count on it."
Red hair flying behind her she wanted so badly to go back and show that ghost what for, but she didn't feel like being torn a new one for being late. After about the third step there was another splat this one just missed her by inches. "Are you freaking kidding me" she yelled as a door to the left opened. One of the other professors stuck their head out to see what all the commotion was. Miss Weasley I suggest you get to class and stop all of this yelling at once before I am forced to give you detention. "Yeah sure why not try telling him that" she snapped before walking off.
Putting herself in the classroom she was just in time to hear a Slytherin getting told off by the professor. Ginny didn't really bad for her she never felt bad for that lot if she was getting harped on she deserved it. Ginny just sat down, thinking of ways to get back at that evil git of a ghost.

The Slytherin slipped into the room, giving Erys and her sidekick a wide girth before taking a seat by Ellie. Or rather she stood by the Hufflepuff, a hopeful look on her face as she asked, "Could I sit with you? I'm not a big fan of, well," She said with a glance over her shoulder, gesturing towards the Snakes at the back of the room. "them." She was pretty new at that school, but had been present long enough for at least a few people to understand that she got along best with people in other houses - claws in particular. The girl probably thought her strange, a Slytherin asking a Hufflepuff of all people if she could sit with her. She might even flat-out refuse, but hey, at least she tried, right? "I'm Cairo." She introduced herself with a small smile, adjusting the strap of her bookbag on her shoulder so it hung more comfortably.
With another glance around the room, as if to check out who all was there, Cairo's large grey eyes flew to the board. Eyebrows arched immediately after she saw what was written there. Very.. Poetic. She thought calmly, hoping the class had something similar to do with it. Might be pleasant, not to mention a change of pace for once.

Angel heard the teachers remark, more than likely she would have let that go, teachers with tiny salaries weren't really worth her time but her mood was fowl so she looked straight into the professors face, "Funny thing about it is I wasn't actually asking you now was I, unless you're name is Erys" she knew it was the wrong thing to do but she hadn't been speaking to her when the question was asked. It was butting into her conversation she had no right.
Angel had enough of this kind of thing, being shown no respect. Had she wanted to ask the teacher a question she would have done so directly, NO she hadn't she asked Erys yet here was Professor Reed minding her business. Angel would take whatever trouble was to come her way for it. She didn't bother to take her eyes off the woman preferring to see her reaction first hand.
