Darren walked down to the lake with a book he brought from home. He hadn't finished the book and he was only halfway through the book. It was a sunny day ad Darren didn't really care if it was a sunny day or not. He set his book on the ground and then lied himself on the ground. After a while he was almost done with the book. But he fell asleep wih his face buried in the book and his back facing towards the sky. He had his ipod in his fron pocket and good thing he wasn't drooling or snoring.

Bradyn headed outside with a grin on his face. Today was a rather warm and sunny day, the days that he loved best. A cat always loves to bathe lazily in the sunlight, after all. Pushing his sleeves up so he wouldn't overheat in his cloak, he headed down towards the lake. The lake may look beautiful covered in ice and snow, but he found it much more breathtaking in the height of spring.
Looking around, he spotted a younger kid by the lake sleeping. "Heh." He smiled devilishly, deciding that he would take it upon himself to wake the kid up. Walking over to where he was laying with his hands still buried in his pocket, he lightly kicked the kid at first. Bray was a merciful upperclassmen and decided he'd be nice, for now. "Oi, get up. Daytime's not for sleeping." He rolled his eyes a bit, thinking the kid probably stayed up late and sneaked out like most rebellious youngsters. Bray, of course, didn't even leave his bed after days like that. It was a small gift to his friends not to run around all cranky-like.

"Dracula!" he shouted when he was first woken up. "What? Oh," he looked up at the boy that woke him up. He then looked at his book. He had almost finished it now, but he folded the top of the page where he was and closed the book. He stood. He was wearing his Gryffindor robe adn he saw that the boy was wearing his robe so Darren knew that the boy was in Ravenclaw. "I'm Darren Bellon," he introduced himself. He stuck his hand out for the boy to shake it.

Bradyn raised an eyebrow and stepped back a bit. The child was very strange. "Dracula? Not quite, just wizard." He smirking at the kid and laughing a bit. 'Ah, a Gryffindor.' He noted to himself when the crest was revealed, as if had been covered by the book before.
"Nice to meet you Darren, I'm Bradyn Reed." He said, going along with the more formal meeting and gripping the lad's hand in a firm handshake before quickly releasing it. "So, you enjoy sleeping on the lawns?" He said, rather mockingly as he sized the boy up. Bray guessed him to be someone in the 3rd year to 4th year range, but then again like most people he was bigger than Bradyn. But Bray did come in at a 'whopping' 5 feet 2inches, which was just such a hard feat to beat.

"Nice to meet you too, Bradyn," he said. "Whenever people shout to me I usually jump and say Dracula when I am woken," he said. He stared at the lake for a minute and he left his book where it was. He then walked along the shore and he found a stone so he skipped it across the lake. The stone then jumped in the lake. The stone came skipping back and Darren saw it coming so he caught it. "What the heck?" he looked at the stone. He didn't know why it came back, but it did.

Felicity ran her fingers through her hair as she walked out of Hogwarts. The random gust of wind that hit her once she was out messed up her hair again, and it's not like she was going to leave it all messy and such.
Still grumbling over her hair and the wind, Fay shrugged off her cloak. Students were probably running to their classes right now, so she doubted a teacher would nag her about it. Plus, most of the teachers were probably used to seeing Fay without her 'proper attire' on. It was just dreadfully annoying and clone-like.
Fay was making her way over to her favorite spot, but upon nearing she noticed two other students standing on it. Her eyebrows knit together in frustration and she grumbled under her breath. Student spot stealers.
The Ravenclaw was all ready to unleash fury onto the two boys, but stopped herself when she noticed Bray was among the two. Her expression quickly switched to a grin and she skipped over to her friend. "Heeeyyy Bray." Fay came to a stop next to him and glanced over to the kid throwing rocks at the lake. Pfft, stupid lake hater. "I wouldn't do that if I were you Gryffindor kid, the lake gets mad sometimes."

Darren looked at the girl who had just entered. "By the way my name's Darren," he said to her. He didn't believe that the lake got mad sometimes, so he just decided to not listen to her. "Wingardium Leviosa!" he casted and pointed his wand at himself. He was above the middle of the lake. He fell from the sky into the lake. But there was one thing he had forgotten to do; and that thing he forgot to do was take off his robe.
He started swimming around. "Come on guys! Join the fun!" he shouted towards them. He didn't really care if they wouldn't join him or not. He started feeling scratching at his legs. He looked around below him, but he didn't see anything scratching his legs.

A third Ravenclaw came ambling by and that Claw was Amara. Mara had her guitar hovering a few feet above the ground and floating along side her as she walked, her nose in a very interesting book about pirates and curses and dragons and magical islands. She wasn't concentrating on where she was walking but the graveled shore that crunched under her foot told her she was near the lake. She still didn't look up. She read on and walked on.
Suddenly she half stood on something that wasn't ground and her ankle twisted funny and she fell to the ground, her guitar landing smartly on top of her. Amara's eyes when wide as she fell, her hands and hip breaking her fall. She looked at her feet and noticed a book was lying there. She took her guitar by the neck and moved it out of the way, then lent forward and picked up the book. It looked interesting too but she didn't have a chance to find out any more then that as a sudden and all mighty splash came to her ears.
Mara circled her ankle around a few times before standing up, taking her book, the book she had found and her guitar in hand. She noticed two other students there, Claws like herself and a bit older if she was any judge. She heard a boy's voice call from the lake to join him and Amara laughed. 'Total nutter!' she said, thinking aloud, 'is he in his robes or am I just seeing things?'

After a while he didn't feel anything scratching his feet anymore. He started swimming back towards the shore, but then something happened. Something started pulling him down. He tried to swim back up to the surface, but he couldn't the thing was way more stronger than himself. He tried casting a spell at the thing, but only bubles came out of Darren's mouth, not words. Nothing came out from the tip of his wand.
He tried swimming up again and this time the thing and he were pulling at the same time. He knew he was hurt because he could feel his ankle starting to hurt really badly. He broke free and swam up to the surface. When he got up to the surface he coughed a little.

Felicity blinked at the other Ravenclaw who had joined them. "Yea, jumped in with them on. Never seen this nut before though. Think he's new or somethin'?" She looked over to the Ravenclaw girl. Fay had seen her a couple times before, but couldn't seem to place a name with a face.
Her gaze snapped back to the kid as he was pulled under. Thankfully, he spluttered back up, but that wouldn't stop this lake. Felicity tossed her cloak to the ground and slid off her shoes. "This kid so owes me."
Taking a running start, the veela dove into the water, slicing through it easily. She popped back up to the top and made her way over to the boy. Fay grabbed his arm and tugged it over her head. She kept a secure grip on his arm as she started to swim back to shore.

Bradyn raised a brow at the kid. He was definately a nutcase and he regretted waking him up. Apparently the rule of 'let sleeping dogs lie' is highly accurate. Shoving his hands back in his pocket, he just shook his head a bit. "Whatever floats your boat, kid."
Then he heard a couple of girls come by, and he noticed they were both Claws. "Hey Fay, Ammy." He said, smiling at them and walking over to them. "What's up?" But as soon as he asked this, he heard a splash and turned to see that the psycho child had jumped into the lake. "Aye! Get out of there, now! There's mermaids, squids, and merlin-knows-what else. They don't like being disturbed!" He yelled, his hand moving up to rub his temples. "Fay, this kids a nutcase. He better not drown."
Seeing him go under though made Bray's jaw drop open. Something had the kid, and it wasn't letting go. 'Bloody hell, what do we do?' He thought frantically, his wand forgotten. Seeing that Fay was planning to jump in to get him worried him more.
"Like that's going to work.." He grumbled, watching his best mate trying to drag the kid in. Pulling out his wand, he stared at it a moment before pointing it at them. "Accio.. uh.. Fay and Darren!"

When Bradyn said accio Darren and Fay, flew towards Bradyn. He lande plop on the ground on his back, but he knew there was something wrong with hi foot. He ached in pain. He couldn't move it and he thought it was broken. "Thanks for that Bradyn," Darren said. Darren looked down at his hurt ankle. "But I don't know i my ankle's broken or not, I think it is," he looked as if he was in terrible pain.

Amara watched the Gryffindor, who she could plainly see was still in his robes, splash around a little. It was amusing and she had a wicked grin plastered to her face as her dark eyes watched on. She knew better then to swim so far in the lake, filled with all manner of dangerous and deadly magical creatures who liked their waters undisturbed. Mara looked at the girl and nodded her head, 'must be. Everyone knows bout the squid and that it likes to pull kids in.'
She had not finished speaking when suddenly the Gryff vanished under the surface of the water. Amara let out a quick, curt laugh and pointed with a flat hand, 'see? What did I tell you?' She had seen it once before when she was in her first year, another Claw getting pulled by the squid but he had fought back, being as old as she was standing watching for the poor Gryffindor. That Claw had come out with suction cup marks all over his neck, arms and face and had a fair few broken bones. Poor guy, Mar thought again as she thought of the other kid.
The girl was in the water as soon as Amara could blink and the boy had his wand out. Accio? Amara thought, a smirk on her face. It would not have been the spell she would have used but it seemed to work as the two all but flew to where she and the other Claw were standing on the shore. The Gryff began to talk of a broken ankle and Amara sighed. She set her guitar and book down behind her before crouching next to the boy's broken ankle.
She pulled the pants away from the ankle and saw it was swollen. She grinned and looked at the boy's face, contorted with pain. 'Yup,' she said almost cheerfully, 'it's broken. But don't worry, I can fix it.' She pulled out her wand and, pointing her wand at the ankle. 'It'll probably go very hot then very cold. Just keep that in mind. Episkey.' A warm red shot from her wand and wrapped itself around the boys ankle before tightening and sinking below his skin. Standing up and putting her wand away, Amara smiled, very proud of herself.
