He remembered the good old days where he would be at home, chilling our around the parks or having mad raves with his best friend Mark, but now because of a silly misunderstanding, the two had not spoken to eachother in months, and Maxi missed him more than he thought possible. He knew things between him and Ash were over, and that wasnt likely to change anytime soon, but what had happened between Max and Mark? A friendship that seemed totally strong had fell apart within a few months.
As he sat by the lake, he remembered the first time he glanced at the shaggy brown hair as he was walking through the grounds, his heart gave a joyful leap when he saw his best friend stood there, looking as mischievious as ever. Maxi couldnt help but think, maybe, just maybe if he waited here long enough, that brown haired trouble maker would come and crack one of his jokes again.
The breeze was cooling against the blonde's skin, it was blowing his hair around his face, his robe laid strewn across the grass next to him, his arms were around his legs which were pulled to his chest. He wanted things to be how they used to be, he wanted Ash to talk to him again, he wanted to be able to be Ash's friend again, but most of all. He wanted Mark back.

Mark was wandering around the grounds with nothing to do. He hadnt seen Max anywhere, not even in passing and in all honesty, Mark missed the blonde headed gay guy. Mark tried not to miss him too much, in fact Mark tried to stay agry at him but it just wasnt working. He couldnt remember the last time he saw Maxi, he had seen Ash a few days ago and the two were still pretty good mates, but Mark knew if push came to shove, Mark would be beside Max rather than anyone else, all Max needed to do was ask and Mark would be there for him.
He got to the lake, Mark saw the familiar sight of blonde hair and tanned skin that was most certainly his friend Max. Mark had his own robe over his arm, enough time had passed now, and it was time Mark put things right with Maxi. Smirking in his usual way, Mark decided to play with the blonde a bit as he looked down.
Walking behind the blonde, Mark threw his robe down on top of Maxi's and nealt behind him, putting his head on Maxi's shoulder. "What will it take to make you smile again?" He asked, taking his head off Maxi's shoulder and looking at the back of the blonde's head.

"Mark!"
Maxi cried turning around and throwing his arms around the neck of his friend, in turn it ended up Maxi throwing Mark off his balance and landing on top of him. To any passers by this could look pretty dodgy, but Maxi didnt care, Mark had came to him and spoken to him, even though Mark had done nothing wrong, he had still come to see if Max was alright. Max knew their friendship was strong.
"Being your friend again might work"
Maxi smiled, indeed if Mark and Max could be friends again, that would brighten his day, his month, his year. "Whaddya say?" Maxi asked, still lying on top of Mark, "You forgive me?"
