So the Forest was not one of Bryn's favourite places in the world, but you never conquer your fears by staring at them do you? And what sort of Gryffindor was he if he didnt at least try to brave whatever the hell was inside this web of trees? Standing on the edge, his arms folded and his head tilted slightly to the side, he was trying to coax himself to step through the first lining of trees, though no matter how much he told himself to go in there, he wouldnt. Way to many bad memories lay inside this place for him, and his sister. His legs wouldnt move, not a step. Letting his arms drop, Bryn looked down at his legs and glared at them, as though they were doing something wrong. Whatever they could have been doing without Bryn's consent he wasnt entirely sure, but they were sure as hell doing something Bryn did not approve of. "Alright, we have been in here before," He said to himself, "So legs, do your stuff and walk!" Once they began to move and he stepped through the first lot of trees, he stopped and looked back down at them, "See, wasnt that hard now was it?"
Everyone knew talking to your legs wasnt exactly normal, but coming in here wasnt really normal either was it? The last time he had been in here, he had been running around, falling over, getting himself stuck in particulary sharp bushes, he eventually came out looking like he had been mauled by a werewolf, much to the Healers dissaprovement. Saying that, not many people approved of what Bryn did with his time, more play less study, it was a miracle he ever passed a year.
Walking through the trees, knocking a branch out of his way before it could attack him, which, in Bryn's own mind, he was sure it would do. Stepping over tree roots, and hearing fallen leaves crunch underneath his feet. This was a good start, he had not even been pricked yet. Though there was plenty of time. Nearly stumbling over a rock he hadnt seen a moment ago, he caught himself on a tree, "Smooth." He mumbled to himself, and patted the tree as though it had just saved his life.
He walked for a further five minutes, though as something moved and caught his eye, Bryn took his eyes, and concentration off where he was walking which proved to be disasterous as he tripped over a tree root. Luckily the ground was dry so Bryn would have only become a bit on the dusty side, landing with his hands face down, he looked back up into the face of a Ravenclaw he was nearly sure he recognised. Smiling at her he said, "Uh" He mumbled, "Hi! Great view of the floor down here, why dont you join me?"

Felicity rocked back on her heels as she stared out at the forest. Honestly, why was she out here? Last time she came here had been rather disastrous, and had left her with a scar from Ash's mistake. She ran her hand through her hair and placed a hand on her hip. Well, she wasn't going to spend the rest of her time here freaking out over one incident, it was time to face the Forest again. So, with a deep breath, she started to walk into the Forest.
What had sparked the idea for her to come here? Well, as she tried to avoid the gaggle of rabid girls bent on her death for certain unnamed reasons, she found herself sitting out on the lawns, staring at the forest. Since she already braved the inside of the school, why not try the outside? So now here she was, wandering through the forest trying to prove to herself that she was as tough as before.
Something else started to crunch besides her own feet, and she whirled around. Fay's wand was out, and her gaze searched for whatever else was in the forest with her. What she hadn't expected was a Gryffindor boy to fall down at her feet. She blinked down at him, and bit down on her lower lip to try not to burst into laughter. "Nice fall, I give that an eight point six."
Felicity held her hand out to the boy, and try not to let her eyebrow twitch in irritation as it reminded her of her little adventure in the hallways. "As nice as that ground looks, I think it's much better to stand when being in a dangerous forest filled with creatures bent on our death." She smirked at him and rose one eyebrow, as if daring him to contradict her.

"Only eight point six?" He said in feigned dissapointment, "Damn, I'll have to work on my grace then wont I?" Making it seem as though the ground was the most comfortable place in exsistance, when in actual fact it was probably one of the most uncomfortable places he had ever had the displeasure to land upon. Acting as though he was comfy, by giving off small and quiet snores, while letting his head lag, trying not to laugh as he did. When you feel like a fool, act like one and make people think you did it purposly. Which he knew he didnt, and was quite sure she knew he didnt aswell, but as long as he didnt say it, he didnt have to admit it now did he?
Looking up when she spoke, he gave a swift smile, "Yeah, thanks for that." Cringing slightly, being reminded of how much he did actually dislike this place, Bryn gave a small shake of his head, "Well, its actually not that comfy down here anyway, much more comfy up there with the upright people." He took her hand and pulled himself up. Giving her a nod, he began to brush himself down, however, due to landing on the palm of his hands he just seemed to smear even more dust all over him. "What?" He asked, and looked down at himself, "I was going for the camoflauge look." Pulling a few leaves off the tree, he placed them in his hair, though instantly wished he didnt as they made his head itch, so shaking them off and watching them drift lazily down to the floor.
Standing in someone's presence was usually a call for some kind of conversation, but Bryn was drawing a blank on the conversational side, so scratching his eyebrow as though waiting for her to speak again, he eventually decided, being silent was way to uncomfortable for him. "So," He started with, "Up for an adventure with a complete stranger?" He gave a friendly enough smile, though his eyes were still wary of his surroundings, never staying focused on one spot. "After all, in a place like this, two is better than one, right?" And not being in here is the best of all. Bryn thought despite himself as he took a few steps infront of her. Though he recognised the Ravenclaw, he couldnt put a face to the name. He couldnt be expected to remember everybodys names could he? Stopping, he whirled around. "Names Bryn!" He smiled, "That was in case you didnt know." This was Bryns way of asking her name, without coming right out and saying 'I know your face but for the life of me cant remember your name.'

"If you face planted, you would've received more points." Felicity smirked down at him and laughed lightly. This boy was honestly crazy. Didn't he realize there could be an assortment of crazy poisonous things sitting on that ground. Yet he still was down there, pretending to snore. She shook her head at him and rolled her eyes. Men were so strange.
"I would hope so. Standing can actually be quite invigorating." She helped tugged him up, then made a face at her hand as she noticed the dirt he smeared on it. Fay wiped it off on her pants and made a face. Her attention turned back to the boy as he made some comment about camouflage. Felicity rose one eyebrow at him, then laughed. "I can see that, I don't think your room mates will appreciate the dirt when you go back though."
Obviously he was waiting for her to say something, but she just stood there with her arms crossed. "Well, our chances of actually surviving are a whole lot better with two people." That was Fay's way of saying yes. She waited until he was a bit in front of her before she started walking. Though, she was soon stopped when he whirled around and spurted out his name. She blinked for a moment, then finally responded. "Felicity, but you can call be Fay if you want."
Her name had been attracting a lot of attention lately, and she didn't want any of it. Stupid fan girls. She tried not to scowl as she said her name, and her gaze shifted to look behind him, like she was looking for danger or something.

"So, let me get this straight." Bryn said, stroking the stubble on his chin, his brows furrowing as though in deep concentration. "If I'd have landed on my face, gotten even more filthier than I am now, I'd get bonus points. But! Because I saved myself, and landed rather crumsily, though gracefully, I lost points?" Rubbing the back of his head and giving off a laugh, she sure had a strange way of thinking, but it made a refreshing change, rather than all those predictable people you so often got around the castle these days. Or people you dont know, knowing your business and following you around the castle like a lost little puppy dog. Bryn stayed out of peoples business unless it involved him. What other people did, was none of his business and he liked his nose the way it was, not broken or pointy due to too much prying.
"Can it?" Bryn questioned, tilting his head to the side, "I always found being on my feet to be tiresome." He watched her pull a face as she realised the dirt was now on her hand, "Sorry 'bout that!" The welsh boy looked behind him, though found his neck craning and looked back to the girl as she spoke once more. "Ah, yes." Bryn frowned, some of the Gryffindor guys had serious problems when it came to dirt, and since it was Bryn who was usually trudging it in, they tended to get quite frustrated with him. "I suspect they're used to it by now."
"I'll take that as a yes then!" Bryn spoke quite happily, truth was, he was happy that he didnt have to walk around here on his own. The place was crawling with beasties and who knew when one was about to leap out and take you by surpise, shuddering, he thanked himself for creeping himself out once more. "Felicity?" He eyed, "Name rings a bell." Though he couldnt figure why, probably heard her name on the corridors or something. "Fay it is, sorry but I dont think Bryn can be shortened down anymore, and Ryn or Bee just doesnt suit me, Bry or Bra would just be embarrassing"
So it was settled, the Gryffindor and the Ravenclaw were to join together to brave the Forest. Though Bryn was being quite happy, in truth, the happiness was coming out of fear, Bryn was never usually this cheery. On the contrary, he was usually calm, relaxed and focused, but in a place like this, calmness went right out of the window.
